Abstract

In the contemporary landscape of small businesses, the effective interpretation of data has emerged as a crucial driver for informed decision-making and sustainable growth. The main task of our activity is to explain with delves the benefits of data visualization for small businesses, exploring the transformative potential it holds for enterprises operating on a smaller scale. The essence of data visualization lies in its ability to convert complex data sets into accessible and comprehensible visual representations. Small businesses, often faced with resource constraints, can leverage these visualizations to extract meaningful insights, identify trends, and make strategic decisions that align with their objectives. This exploration encompasses the significance of data visualization tools and techniques tailored for small business contexts. As small businesses navigate the intricacies of their operational environment, this program community services underscores the practical applications of data visualization. It sheds light on how visual representations of financial data, market trends, and customer behaviors can empower small business owners to make timely and well-informed decisions. The aim of this community service activity is to explain data visualization to SMEs who work as migrant workers (TKI) on Penang Island, Malaysia.

Abstract

The use of the KAHOOT application in learning at state elementary school 2 aims to introduce and train elementary school teachers in the use of the KAHOOT application. This activity is carried out as part of community service to improve the quality of learning in schools. In this socialization, elementary school teachers were given introductory and evaluation materials for the use of the KAHOOT application as an online-based measuring tool. The materials provided include an introduction to games, quizzes, discussions, and surveys that can be done through the KAHOOT application. In addition, teachers were also given training in creating online-based evaluation questions using the KAHOOT software. Discussions were also held with teachers to discuss the problems faced in using the KAHOOT application. In this socialization, lecture, practice, and question and answer methods were used to ensure a good understanding and application of the KAHOOT application in learning at state elementary school 2, aiming to improve the quality of learning and provide an interactive learning experience for students through the use of technology. , such as increasing student engagement, enriching learning experiences, and facilitating evaluation. However, it is important to ensure that the use of this application is in accordance with the context and needs of students and gets support and supervision from the school.

Abstract

Atsiri Women's Cooperative is a social community organization as a forum and means of developing every member of society that grows and develops on the basis of social awareness and responsibility from and for the community in the region, especially engaged in medium and small businesses. While the membership of the Atsiri Citayem Cooperative, hereinafter referred to as the Cooperative Mothers, is every member of the community. Atsiri Women's Cooperative, Established on December 11, 2011, is located at Jl. Jalan Sedap Malam Raya no 45 Rt 01 RW 12 Atsiri Permai Housing, Ragajaya Village, Bojonggede District. Bogor Regency. Postal Code 16920, engaged in the field of All Kinds of Business. The problem of limited understanding of social media management that has not been carried out in optimization in the UMKM management environment. The use of social media used is still manual for sales information. Artificial intelligence has become the main focus in the development of computer systems that have the ability to resemble the function of the human brain. One of them is the development and utilization of Chatbot Ecosystem Virtual Assistant (EVA) as a tool to help work in various fields and in Kopwan Atsiri, One of which is through further training activities on the use of information technology, online marketing, business management, and other relevant aspects. So that the training and socialization carried out do not stop only in the scope of meetings, but can also be applied by the community in their daily business activities. In this context, the training aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the type of Chatbot Ecosystem Virtual Assistant (EVA), in providing customer service at Kopwan Atsiri. Through the implementation of direct implementation of practicing Chatbot Ecosystem Virtual Assistant (EVA), which is the most efficient in the context of customer service. These results are expected to provide valuable insights for the development and implementation of Chatbot Ecosystem Virtual Assistant (EVA) in improving the effectiveness of customer service, as well as one solution in increasing knowledge, and making it easier to get fast information and provide a more accurate and strong understanding of efficiency.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the online marketing strategy of traditional herbal medicine products from "Omah Jamu Tradisional Watu" using the AIDA (Attention, Interest, Desire, Action) concept on the Instagram platform. The main issues identified were low product visibility and minimal customer engagement. The implemented solutions included creating attractive visual content, utilizing paid advertising campaigns, and active interaction through Instagram Stories and Live features. Publishing customer testimonials and collaborating with influencers effectively built trust and purchase interest, while clear Call-to-Action (CTA) implementation simplified the purchasing process. The results showed significant increases in followers, audience engagement, and product sales. In conclusion, the AIDA-based marketing strategy on Instagram proved effective in enhancing visibility and sales of traditional herbal medicine products. The study recommends consistency in producing high-quality content and leveraging data analytics for continuous optimization.

Abstract

This community service aims to optimize the use of TikTok as an interactive and economically potential learning medium for students and teachers at SMA Harapan 3 Medan. The primary issue identified was the participants' lack of understanding regarding the utilization of social media for educational purposes and monetization. The solution was provided through a workshop based on seven literacies: digital, technological, media, financial, informational, social, and cultural. The implementation methods included theoretical sessions, practical applications, evaluations through pre-tests and post-tests, and follow-up surveys. Results indicated an improvement in participants' understanding, with 85% of students able to create educational content after the training, and 70% of them understanding monetization strategies. The workshop also motivated 60% of teachers to consider social media as a teaching aid. The impact of this activity is expected to continue in adaptive learning and the creative economy in the digital er.

Abstract

The educators' inadequate grasp of conducting thorough and meaningful assessments has harmed the quality of learning in partner schools. The goal of this community service program is to enhance the competency of educators by offering instruction in differentiated assessments that are authentic, diagnostic, and end-of-unit. Three main techniques for implementation are on-going mentoring, hands-on training, and theoretical instruction. The program's outcomes show that teachers' abilities to create and administer tests that are more pertinent to students' needs and flexible have significantly increased. The program's results include assessment modules, educator-produced assessment products, and an increase in positive student responses to learning. These findings are critical for promoting higher-quality education and more productive learning in affiliated schools.

Abstract

Nur Azizi Private High School, located in Tanjung Morawa, Deli Serdang Regency, is one of the schools with A accreditation which continues to be committed to improving educational services. However, currently the delivery of information in this school still relies on manual wall magazines, which results in slow distribution of information, lack of interest in reading among students, teachers and staff, as well as dependence on print media. As technology develops, more effective solutions are needed to manage and convey information quickly, directly and accessible anytime and anywhere. Based on the results of discussions with the school, Nur Azizi Private High School needs a digital media that is easy to use, user-friendly, and can speed up the dissemination of information. Therefore, the community service team plans to implement a broadcasting system in the form of a digital website with an auto-reload feature that will be integrated with smart TVs. The implementation of this system is expected to increase the efficiency of delivering information and support the need for faster, more accurate and modern communication at Nur Azizi Private High School. Initial evaluations showed an improvement in the quality of infrastructure and student interest in accessing school information through more modern media.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of directing the use of communication applications on improving employee performance in a company. With the development of information technology, digital communication applications have become the main means of facilitating interaction and collaboration between employees. However, the application of these applications is often less than optimal without proper direction. This study used a quantitative approach with an experimental design, where the respondents consisted of 100 employees divided into two groups: an experimental group that was briefed on the intensive use of communication applications and a control group that was not briefed. Data was collected through a survey that measured employee performance before and after the briefing as well as the level of comfort and understanding of the application. The results showed that briefing the use of communication applications can effectively improve employee performance in terms of response speed, team collaboration and task completion. This study suggests the importance of ongoing training and briefings to maximize the benefits of communication apps in the workplace.

Abstract

Assistance in managing the Alamendah Tourism Village website in Bandung Regency is carried out to overcome challenges in tourism promotion which still relies on conventional methods. With the development of digital technology, effective website management has become an urgent need to increase the competitiveness of tourist destinations. This program is designed to provide technical skills to village communities in managing websites as an effective promotional tool. Assistance is provided through a combination of online and offline methods, including storytelling training, SEO optimization, content maintenance, and integration with social media. This activity succeeded in increasing participants' understanding of digital technology and providing direct benefits in optimizing the potential of village websites. The evaluation showed very positive results, with participants finding the activity relevant, useful and satisfying. However, several website elements such as the navigation bar, responsive design, and accessibility still need to be improved. Suggestions are given to continue ongoing assistance, improve website features, and carry out regular evaluations to ensure program sustainability. With this approach, the Alamendah Tourism Village is expected to be able to increase its attractiveness and visibility as a leading ecotourism destination, as well as encourage community independence in managing digital marketing.

Abstract

Serang Village, Tasikmalaya Regency, faces challenges in optimally utilizing digital marketing among MSME actors who are members of the Serang Village Digital Community Space. Most MSME actors still have limitations in displaying products attractively and utilizing digital platforms for marketing. To answer this problem, the community service program together with the Serang Village Digital Community Space partners designed and implemented the Serang Village SISKOMDIG application as a digital community information system that helps manage MSME members that support communication and collaboration between members. In addition, the team provides digital product visualization training such as creating attractive product photos, editing photos and videos, and creating logos to MSME actors so that they are able to improve the visualization of their products on digital platforms. The purpose of this program is to equip MSME actors with skills that strengthen the visual appeal of products in digital marketing, so that they can expand market reach and increase product competitiveness. The results of this program include the implementation of the Serang Village SISKOMDIG application which can be accessed online and obtain an Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) certificate, the training that has been provided is expected to improve participants' skills in creating attractive product visuals. This program provides sustainable solutions to strengthen digital marketing for MSMEs through a technology-based approach and skills enhancement, as an effort to support Serang Village towards becoming a digitally independent Smart Village.
