Abstract

In improving the quality and quality of learning in educational institutions, technological development is needed in achieving that goal. Especially in the Lower STM 1 High School at the moment trying to take advantage of technological developments to meet the expected goals. Manual exams conducted at SMA Negeri 1 STM Hilir have many obstacles such as the possibility of fraud committed by students when answering exams and require additional time for the teaching staff to check students' test results. Kahoot is a learning media application, where by using kahoot the manual examination process can be changed to online. Therefore, community service conducted by the team is to conduct training in the use of the Kahoot application instead of a manual exam.

Abstract

PKMS target partners are community groups with a type of economic productive partner named Bebek Barokah led by Mrs. Masri Yuni, the number of group members is 3 people. Partner problems, namely marketing and production problems. The agreed issues to be addressed are: Increased egg production, marketing promotion, salted egg production and business management. The training is carried out both theoretically and practically with expert sources through lectures, questions and answers, discussions and exercises, monitoring and mentoring. The indicators for the success of this PKM are: Publications in National Journals, Publications in printed mass media, Videos of activity implementation, Increased empowerment of partners - increased partner turnover. PKMS location is about ± 22 KM from the LP3I Medan Polytechnic campus, namely Jl. Tiger Gg. Ubi Pasar I Dusun IX Sei Mencirim Kec. Sunggal Kab. Deli Serdang. PKMS results show that the economic impact of partner groups has increased, productivity has also increased. The partner group has knowledge regarding alternative raw materials, the use of technology and an understanding of good feed processing and procedures. The partner group has increased skills in processing and producing salted eggs

Abstract

The purpose of this community service activity is to equip students in improving life attitudes, social mentality and self-development in the process of learning activities so as to form an increase in achievement motivation of SMK YPP Purworejo students in the competency of production machine expertise with 162 participants. This community service activity is carried out using the classical method, which is conveyed in the form of motivation, material exposure and then continued with questions and answers. The results of the implementation of community service are (1) students feel helped and this activity can run quite optimally and students follow it conducively from the start of the event to the end; (2) based on the results of the feedback from the participants, a response was obtained that this activity was very relevant to the needs of vocational school students, especially level XII students who were preparing for the final national exams and who were about to end their study period and (3) the participants felt that they had gained good insight. knowledge about how to learn effectively, and students are more motivated to return to achievement

Abstract

The use of alternative energy is being promoted to replace the dependence on fossil energy such as coal. Coal is mostly used as fuel in power plants. The proven reserves of coal are 31.35 billion tons, if it is assumed that there are no discoveries of new reserves, the coal will last in 72 years. Therefore, the government through the National Energy Policy No. 79 of 2014 mandates the use of renewable energy at least 23% in 2025 and 31% in 2050. One of the energy sources that is often used as a substitute for fossil energy is water. The energy possessed by water can be used as electricity generation of Hydro Power Plant. Many villages in Indonesia have rivers and irrigation channels that have not been utilized as a new and renewable energy source, especially for micro and pico-scale power plants. One of the irrigations flows that have not been utilized is in the village of Pesucen, Banyuwangi Regency, East Java. The flow of the irrigation canal has a fairly heavy flow so it is suitable for a Pico Hydro Power Plant. The Pico Hydro Power Plant which will be made is expected to provide an alternative to generating electricity by utilizing existing irrigation channels which is located behind houses. In addition, the Pico Hydro Power Plant can reduce the dependence of residents on existing electricity sources and irrigation channels have more value than before

Abstract

Entrepreneurial education and entrepreneurial characteristics have a positive influence on entrepreneurial motives. Therefore, the motivation is very suitable given at school age. Children of school age who have an entrepreneurial education background are one of them is in SMK Negri 6 Tanjung Balai which has a Marketing Department. So this kind of motivation is suitable for students who have the jurasan. Motivational ways are: Providing an understanding of Technopreneurship and Entrepreneurship, Providing motivation about starting entrepreneurial activities in accordance with good entrepreneurial characteristics, Explaining about e-commerce in an effort to deepen technopreneurship, Explaining the virtues of e-commerce applications and tools so as to help budding business people by using several examples. Community service activities at SMK Negeri 6 Tanjung Balai students have been completed at THE 6 Tanjung Balai State Vocational Hall with the topic of Motivation for The Implementation of E-Commerce in Building Entrepreneurial Interests of SMK Negeri 6 Tanjung Balai Students in the Era of Industrial Revolution 4.0 on September 5-6, 2019 and attended by students of smk negeri 6 TanjungBalai Business Department as many as 37 people

Abstract

Effective communication skills training for managers of the Tiga Ras tourism object in Simalungun Regency as a form of soft skills development in order to further increase professionalism in organizational business, because the tourism sector will be interact with many people. Following by business managers at the Tiga Ras tourist attraction in Simalungun Regency. Abstract

Community service aims to make the business community have knowledge about the Final PPH for UMKM such as how to register, calculate the tariff, when to apply and report it. The method applied is classical and individual. This approach method in the form of lectures and practice. Individual approach is carried out during practice in the form of income calculation until the final PPH reporting. The location of this service is Medan Sinembah Village, Tanjung Morawa Sub-district, Deli Serdang Regency, SUMATERA UTARA.. As a result of this activity, UMKM entrepreneurs can calculate, pay the final PPH and report their tax reports properly and on time and improve the welfare of family life in the village of Medan Sinembah

Abstract

The obligations to each university as described in the Tridharma of Higher Education are education, research, and community service. One form of this obligation at the Nusa Mandiri School of Information and Computer Management (STMIK) is to carry out community service. This is carried out in relation to the concern of every institution or institution engaged in education by following technological developments and advances. This time, community service was carried out at PT. Jaya Persada Indonesia or JPI is a company that was founded with a spirit of togetherness, seeing opportunities for the development of its property and human resources, so the company is currently focusing on the business area carried out by PT. Jaya Persada Indonesia is a Property Developer, Property Agency (JPI Propertindo). Limited understanding of the Microsoft Excel program for office inventory, therefore the Nusa Mandiri College of Information and Computer Management conducted Community Service in the form of Excel Training Workshop Training for Inventory kator at PT. Jaya Persada Indonesia (PT. JPI) in East Jakarta. With this training, it can help management in managing inventory activities at PT. Jaya Persada Indonesia (PT. JPI).

Abstract

CV. Tanaya is one of the companies engaged in the field of suppliers, this CV buys raw materials in several Agents. The availability of goods is very influential in production planning, therefore inventory data is needed. Goods inventory data processing in the CV. Tanaya is still manual, namely for recording data using a stock card. This raises the motivation to design and conduct training in the use of information systems about inventory data items, especially in the warehouse CV. Tanaya The method used consists of two stages, the first is observation and interviews with the CV. The second stage is to carry out a community education approach, in this case training the use of the system. This aims to make it easier for companies to manage data so that it is faster, accuracy in data processing and improve accuracy in managing the entry and exit of goods stock in the warehouse of CV. Abstract

This community service aims to help certain communities in several activities. One of the services is carried out at TK Kemala Bhayangkari 03 Medan. This community service is Flash card Media in Teaching English vocabulary. Given the important role of vocabulary in language, learning vocabulary is a very important concern in learning English. For kindergarten students learning vocabulary in English is not an easy thing to get new vocabulary that is incorporated into teachers who have difficulty in learning vocabulary.The community service team is interested in holding this service by trying to use flashcard media in learning English with the hope that the students of TK Kemala Bhayangkari 03 Medan can add new vocabulary in English through flashcard media.
