Introduction: One way to minimize the impact of hospitalization is storytelling with dolls or puppet shows , which is a type of game using puppet media through fantasy games for preschoolers (3-6 years old). The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of play therapy "puppet show" on the impact of hospitalization on preschool children (3-6 years) in the Orchid room of Ibnu Sina Hospital, Gresik Regency. Methods: This study uses a quasi experiment with one group pre test and post test design. The population of this research is parents who have preschool age children (3-6 years) who are hospitalized in the Orchid Room of Ibnu Sina Hospital, Gresik Regency. While the sampling using consecutive sampling technique obtained 22 parents. The independent variable studied was play therapy "puppet show". The dependent variable in this study was the impact of hospitalization on preschool children aged (3-6 years) who experienced hospitalization. Data collection is done by using a questionnaire then analyzed through the T-test statistical test. Results: The results of this study indicate that there is a significant difference between positive and negative impacts on pre-school age children during nursing actions before and after play therapy "puppet show" (p value = 0.005 smaller than = 0.05). Conclusions: Based on the results of the research obtained, the need for play should still be given to children undergoing hospital treatment to continue the child's growth and development, reduce stress and tension.

Introduction: The fall incidence will have a detrimental impact on the hospital, staffs and patients as the service recipients. This can be prevented by conducting fall risk reassessment. It is an assessment of patient's fall risk carried out by nurses. This study aims to determine the level of knowledge and compliance of nurses in carrying out a patient fall risk reassessment in the inpatient ward. Methods: This study used an observational analytical design with a quantitative method and a cross-sectional approach. A total sampling of 48 respondents were used as samples. Kendall Tau-b test was employed as the analysis technique. Results: The respondents were mostly female or as many as 33 people (68.8%). The educational level of the respondents was mostly D-III or as many as 32 people (66.7%). The majority of respondents' working period was 3-5 years or as many as 26 people (54.2 %). The average age of the respondents was 27.5 years, the respondents' knowledge was mostly good or as many as 24 people (50%), and the respondents' compliance in carrying out the fall risk reassessment was mostly compliant or as many as 41 people (85.4%). This study utilized the Kendall Tau-b test and obtained p value = 0.006 and Correlation Coefficient of 0.387. Conclusions: There is a significant relationship between nurses' knowledge of fall risk and their compliance in carrying out a fall risk reassessment in the inpatient ward of the PDHI Yogyakarta Islamic Hospital. The higher the knowledge, the higher the level of nurse compliance.

Introduction: The Symptoms of Paroxysmal Nocturnal Dyspnea (PND) in patients with heart failure are shortness of breath at night which may appear suddenly causing the patient to wake up and will affect people's quality of sleep. One of the treatments that can be given to patients with poor sleep quality is by providing non-pharmacological interventions. Methods: This study uses a literature review design. The database used in the literature is Google Scholar, Science Direct and PubMed in which the terms are selected and limited with the range 2011-2021 which can be accessed in PDF format. Results: The results obtained five articles of non-pharmacological interventions that can be given to treat the problem of sleep disorders in heart failure patients: massage therapy, position therapy; and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Sleep disorder is not handled properly, it can affect the physical condition of this heart failure patient. Interventions massage therapy are hand, back and foot massage to improve sleep quality in heart failure patients with pain and environmental problems. Heart failure patients, there is a relative change in hemodynamic status so it is necessary to take one of the actions by providing nursing interventions in the form of a right lateral rest position for nursing. Anxiety conditions are one of the mental problems that occur in heart failure patients and CBT interventions can be given. Conclusions: These three therapies are effective in overcoming sleep disturbances and improving sleep quality for heart failure patients.

This condition is often found in the elderly post-ischemic stroke. The study aimed to describe nursing care of continuous urinary incontinence in the elderly post-ischemic stroke in Lamongan. Methods : This study used a case study approach (case report) on a participant through the nursing process approach. The sample in this study is one patient, an elderly post-ischemic stroke. This research was conducted in 2021 in Lamongan with three visits to patients' homes for seven days. Data collection techniques include interviews, observation, and physical examination. Results : Continuous urinary incontinence nursing care with the main intervention for urinary incontinence treatment (I.04163) and the supporting intervention is pelvic muscle exercises (I.07215) can be applied to elderly post-ischemic stroke according to the expected outcomes. The continuous urinary incontinence has a partially resolved on the third home visit. The client can hold urine several times when the bladder feels full, reduced the frequency of night urination, and rarely wakes up because of wet diapers. Sandvik Severity Index shows a value of 4 (moderate incontinence). Conclusions: Improving nursing care need for collaboration between patients, families, and health workers in performing pelvic muscle exercises independently, continuously, and regularly to increase the strength of the detrusor-sphincter muscles and showed improvement in urinary continence.

The data obtained were analyzed by comparing case reviews and literature reviews. Results: The results of the problems for nursing diagnosis that arise are CKD with ineefective-breathing pattern. Interventions that are emphasized and carried out in the field in the case study are providing a semi-fowler/ fowler position, and maintaining oxygen therapy. Final evaluation of nursing diagnoses in patients with problems resolved and goals achieved according to the specified time criteria. Conclusions: The study indicated that ineefective breathing pattern can be solved by positioning a semi-fowler or half-sitting position, decrease fluid intake and correcting anemia. Suggestions for nurses to focus in developing science and technology to be applied to all nursing personnel in providing nursing care for ineffective breathing patterns for patients with chronic kidney disease.
