Abstract

The identification of heterosis and heterobeltiosis in a dialel cross between the Madura inbred lines is needed as a basis for assembling hybrid maize varieties that suitable for development in Madura. This study aimed to identify the combination of crosses that showed the best heterosis and heterobeltiosis values ​​for early maturity, production support and production per hectare characters. This research was conducted at The Experimental Station of Agricultural Faculty of Madura Trunojoyo University. Plant material used were 6 inbred lines of madura maize (UTM 2, UTM 7, UTM 14, UTM 14, UTM 15, UTM 18, and UTM 22), and 30 full-dielel cross hybrids between 6 genotypes of inbred lines. The experiments used the randomized complete block design (RCBD) three replications so that there were 108 experimental units. The observed characters were flowering age, harvest age, cob diameter, cob length, weght of 100 seed, and production per hectare. The crosses that produced the best heterosis and heterosbeltiosis values ​​for early maturity were UTM14 x UTM18, UTM15 x UTM2 and UTM18 x UTM2. The crosses for the character of cob diameter, cob length and the weight of 100 seeds mostly result in heterosis and heterobeltiosis values ​​are positive. On the character of production per hectare the highest heterosis and heterobeltiosis values ​​were crossed UTM2 x UTM14 (214,742%) and UTM2 x UTM18 (171,585%).

Abstract

Madura maize had superriority on shorttime harvest, resistant to bout and drought and can cultivate on marginal field. Maize variety Guluk-Guluk was one of 16 local variety of madura maize, known as drought tolerant maize, but it’s not known the effect of the drought to its growth and production. The maize was cultivate on polibag arranged by completely random design. The maize watering to 100, 80, 60, 20 % field capacity. The parameter observed was growth and production parameters such as plant high, leaves count, leaves wide, anthesis, silking, anthesis silking interval, harvest time, cob size, seed count and mass. Abstract

Tradisi ngasak telah berkembang sejak zaman dahulu, khususnya di Pulau Jawa, termasuk salah satunya di Kabupaten Bojonegoro. Penelitian Nurani L.S. (2012) menyebutkan bahwa ibu yang memiliki anak kelahiran tahun 1920 telah mengajarkan anak perempuan mereka untuk ngasak jika sawah yang mereka miliki belum panen. Faktor kehilangan gabah saat ini hanya dihitung berdasarkan faktor internal saja, sedangkan faktor eksternal yaitu faktor luar yang tidak berkaitan langsung dengan proses pemanenan, termasuk di dalamnya factor tradisi ngasak, belum dipertimbangkan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menghitung potensi kehilangan gabah pada tahap pemanenan di setiap hektar lahan akibat aktivitas ngasak. Penelitian ini menggunakan Metode Survey Analitis yang merupakan metode investigasi dalam pengumpulan data, dimana data yang dikumpulkan merupakan data kuantitatif yang membutuhkan analisis statistik. Penghitungan kehilangan gabah dilakukan dengan menghitung rerata jumlah pengasak dikalikan rerata hasil ngasak per lahan yang kemudian dikonversi dalam luasan hektar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan jumlah kehilangan gabah rata-rata per hektar 343 kg/Ha, dan potensi kehilangan gabah bisa mencapai 523 kg/Ha.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Untuk mendukung program pemerintah tentang produksi tujuh komoditas Strategi Nasional yakni beras, jagung, kedelai, daging sapi, bawang merah, cabai merah, dan gula pasir. Perbanyakan tanaman tebu dalam jumlah banyak secara cepat dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode perbanyakan melalui induksi kalus. Induksi kalus memiliki presentase hasil yang lebih tinggi dan sangat dipengaruhi keberhasilannya oleh pembentukan kalus embriogenik. Zat pengatur tumbuh (ZPT) merupakan faktor yang paling mempengaruhi perkembangan kalus embriogenik menjadi embrio somatik. Kombinasi antara Auksin dan Sitokinin mempunyai peran penting untuk menginduksi kalus dimana 2,4 D dan BAP merupakan merupakan kombinasi yang digunakan dalam perbanyakan tanaman secara in-vitro. Tujuan dari penellitian ini adalah untuk menemukan metode in vitro yang cepat untuk tebu melalui induksi kalus embriogenik. Eksplan yang digunakan dari gulungan daun muda diisolasi dari tanaman tebu yang sehat berasal dari lapang kemudian ditumbuhkan pada media MS dengan kombinasi 2,4-D (0, 2, 4, dan 6 ppm) dan BAP (1, 2, dan 3 ppm) untuk menginduksi kalus embriogenik. Variabel yang diamati meliputi saat pelengkungan daun (hari), persentase saat pelengkungan daun, saat pembengkakan (hari), persentase saat pembengkakan, serta Tampilan fisik kalus seperti warna dan strukturnya. Luaran penelitian ini dapat berupa publikasi ilmiah pada jurnal lokal dan bahan ajar untuk pembelajaran pada mata kuliah Kultur Jaringan Tanaman. ABSTRACT To support the government's program on the production of seven National Strategy commodities, namely rice, corn, soybeans, beef, shallots, red chili, and granulated sugar. Multiplication of sugar cane in large quantities quickly can be done using the method of propagation through callus induction. Callus induction has a higher yield percentage and is strongly influenced by its success by embryogenic callus formation. Growth regulating substances (ZPT) are the factors that most influence the development of embryogenic callus into somatic embryos. The combination of Auxin and Cytokinin has an important role to induce callus where 2,4 D and BAP is a combination used in in vitro plant propagation. The purpose of this research is to find a fast-in vitro method for sugarcane through the induction of embryogenic callus. Explants used from young leaf rolls isolated from healthy sugarcane plants from the field were then grown on MS media with a combination of 2,4-D (0, 2, 4, and 6 ppm) and BAP (1, 2, and 3 ppm) to induce embryogenic callus. Variables observed included leaf curvature (days), percentage of leaf curvature, swelling (days), percentage of swelling, and physical appearance of callus such as color and structure. The output of this study can be in the form of scientific publications in local journals and teaching materials for learning in Plant Tissue Culture courses.

Abstract

This research purposes to understand the description of hybrid corn cultivation, the choices of hybrid corn variety and the strategy of hybrid corn development. This research is located in Galis, Pamekasan, exactly in Polagan village. The technique collecting data that the researcher was used are primer and secondary method. Primer data was collected by observation, interview, and questioner, while secondary data was collected from the journal, the book, and the agriculture department in Pamekasan. The data was analyzed by using descriptive analysis, AHP method and SWOT analysis. The hybrid corn variety which was chosen for expansion in Galis is Bisi-2 variety. The strategies of expansion for hybrid corn agriculture labor that should do are expand the wide of areas for hybrid corn agriculture labor, and run the programs which is given by government. Abstract

This research was conducted at the Central Pakandengan District of Bluto Sumenep, with the aim of: (1) determine the marketing channels and marketing functions, (2) calculate the amount of marketing and profit margins, (3) calculate the percentage level of marketing efficiency at each institution seaweed marketing. Sampling method on farmers is done by using simple random sampling number of 30 respondents and sample marketing agencies using snowball sampling, whereas the method of analysis using the marketing margin analysis, marketing distribution, farmer's share and marketing efficiency. The results show that the first discussion, the marketing channel in the Middle Pekandengan village there are two channels, namely farmer - traders - wholesalers - enterprises and farmers - traders - companies. Marketing functions performed by each agencymarketing is exchange function which consists of sales and purchases, as well as physical function consists of drying, storage, packaging and transport. Second, marketing and profit margins every marketing agencies in each marketing channel is the first marketing channels total marketing margin is Rp. 10,500/kg and the total profit was Rp. 10,250/kg, while the marketing channel II total marketing margin is Rp. 6,000/kg and the total profit was Rp. 5,850/kg. Third, based on the percentage level of efficiency is <50% means it efficiently. I value marketing channel efficiency by 2.08% while the value of the second marketing channel efficiency of 0.83% .

Abstract

The area of Maize planting in Madura was about 324 thousand hectares (largest in East Java), but the production is smaller (1.4 tons / ha) than the average production of East Java (4.9 tons / ha) and Indonesia (5.1 tons / Ha). The maize that is grown and developed in Pamekasan Madura is local corn, hybrid and composite. This study will compare the growth and production of local maize (var. Guluk-guluk), hybrid (Bisi 816 and Pioneer 21) and composite (Sukmaraga and Lamuru). The study was conducted in Pagendingan village, Larangan sub-district, Pamekasan District, using a complete randomized design. The observation parameters were growth and production parameters which were analyzed using one way anava and 5% duncan test. The results showed the fastest growth was varieties Guluk-Guluk (anthesis 44,33 days after planting, silking 46,00 days and harvest 72,67 days). The biggest production is Pioneer 21 which is 10.78 tons / hectare.

Abstract

To be able to support the optimization of efforts to increase food security, innovation is required in improving the effectiveness of the flow of commodities through better coordination. One commodities Indonesia that has great potential but so far is still a little in note is Seaweed, Seaweed is one of the most widely used plant commodities and consumed in Indonesia. The results of seaweed cultivation efficiency study in Pekandangan Timur Village Bluto Sub-district of Sumenep Regency are: fixed cost in seaweed farming amounting to Rp 1575000 and variable cost Rp 316000 so the total cost of seawater production is Rp 1891000 Rp 540000 and profit Rp 1351000.Value R / C Ratio> 1 is 2.50 means Seaweed production farming in Pekandangan Timur Village Bluto Sub-District of Sumenep Regency is efficient and profitable because with capital 2.00 will be earned profit of Rp 2.50.

Abstract

The current population increase causes food demand to increase as well. However, the phenomenon that occurs when many transitions function from agricultural land into industrial land and housing. Increasing the land area to the sub-optimal, including the very saline areas can be the alternate development of agriculture. One of the main obstacles due to the salinity is the water deficit or water dehydration which is caused by the low potential of water from the medium on which the crops grow. There are several factors that cause the soil to be saline, ie, intensive evaporation, chemical fertilization on a continuous basis and the most important is the intrusion of sea water. Plant response to salinity shows the difference that depends on the type of plant and plant resistance to salinity. One damage to plants when plants absorb excessive salt will cause poisoning in old leaves. This will lead to premature leaf aging and reduce the area of ​​leaves that function in photosynthesis.

Abstract

BAROKAH is a tempe industry in Panaan Village, Palengaan Subdistrict, Pamekasan Regency. This aims study to identify soybean raw material inventories in the tempe industry UD. BAROKAH, calculate the optimal raw material inventory and analyze the time of reorder of raw materials so as not to run out of soybean stock in storage. The research method used is descriptive, EOQ, TIC, Safety Stock and ROP. The results of this study are first, the type of soybeans used is local soybeans which are sent directly from the Java region to suppliers of soybean raw materials in Teja village. The volume of raw material purchases of soybeans is 250 kg at a price of Rp.7,700 / kg which is carried out every 6 times in one month with a waiting time of 3 days. So that the total purchase of raw materials for soybeans is 1,500 kg per month. Second, raw material inventories in Tempe UD. BAROKAH has not been optimal with a difference of 1,003.8 Kg with a difference in the total cost of raw material inventory of Rp 131,791.54. Third, the Tempe Industry UD. BAROKAH does not require safety stock in its production activities. However, to prevent a shortage of raw materials, Tempe UD.
