Abstract

Research aims to understand the right formula in making tomato leather good and favored.One of the in the form of a fine texture is pectin. Hence in this research using two factors that is pectin and long drying. Design this research using RSM (Response Surface Method) on the software minitab 14.The research results show that pectin had have significant effect on gumminess, hardness, sensory (color and smell) but not had no effect on springiness, chewiness, pH, moisture content, sensory (taste, texture, and preferences a whole) while long drying only had have significant effect on moisture content, color, smell, and texture. The right formula according to the analysis of data using RSM is pectin 1 % and long drying 6,86977 hours.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to identify and analyze the factors that influence farmers' decision making to buy rice seeds at the Agrotani kiosk in Cenlecen Village, Pakong District, Pamekasan Regency. This research is a survey research, using respondents who were selected using the accidental sampling method and selected 60 respondents who were met by chance with predetermined criteria. The data were analyzed descriptively and qualitatively. The results showed that from the results of the validity and reliability test all items from each variable were valid and reliable so that the data could be used for logistic regression testing. The results of the logistic regression test showed that the price and product variables had a significant effect on farmers' decision making in buying rice seeds at the Agrotani kiosk with an error rate of 10%, while the service, location and promotion variables had no significant effect. Then, based on the classification table, the logit results show the number of respondents who bought as many as 29 people but there are 9 people who probably will not buy the product again. From these results, it is recommended for further researchers to develop this research by considering other variables which are other variables outside the variables that have been included in this study

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the preferences and satisfaction of farmers for the Ciherang variety rice seeds. The location of this research is in Cenlecen Village, Pakong District, Pamekasan Regency. The population in this study were all rice farmers in Cenlecen Village and the sample in this study amounted to 70 people using probability sampling technique. Based on the results of the study using the Customers Satisfaction Index (CSI), it shows the interest and satisfaction of farmers on the attributes of the amount of production and quality of rice, for plant attributes that are resistant to pests, production costs and easy to obtain. While the attributes of the ability to grow seeds in the field, ease of work, government services and product packaging. for attributes of plant form and are used to planting. To achieve the goal of farmer satisfaction with the attributes of rice planting using ciherang seeds, the results obtained are 63,62578, meaning that farmers are quite satisfied. The efficiency level of the attributes of farmers who use Ciherang rice seeds is on average above the efficiency line, only the attributes of the amount of production and quality of rice are expected to be below the efficiency line

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine and analyze the development strategy of banana chips agroindustry UD. Al-barokah in Bulangan Haji Village is the most appropriate so that it is able to face the competition. Using SWOT analysis with IFAS and EFAS Matrix, it is possible to identify important factors from both the external and internal environment which are the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the banana chips agroindustry. The location of the research was carried out purposively in Bulangan Haji Village, Pegantenan District, Pamekasan Regency. The analytical method used is descriptive quantitative analysis using the SWOT analysis method. SWOT analysis is the systematic identification of various factors to formulate the Banana Chips Agroindustry strategy. The results of the study indicate that a growth strategy or growth oriented strategy, this strategy indicates a strong agro-industry condition and is able to continue to develop by taking the opportunities or opportunities that exist.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the condition of agriculture in Pakong Village Pakong District Pamekasan Regency and to determine the decision makking Factors of farmer and determining monokulture and intercropping system. The location of the research was carrid out intentionally in Pakong Village Pakong District Pamekasan Regency. The sampel method useed in this study is a deliberate method and to find out the number of samples the researches here use the slovin formula. Data analysis techniques are carrid out by means of qualitative descriptions and percentage description. The results showed that agriculture in Pakong Village has increased from year to year both in terms of land use and plant selection. And farmers' decision making in choosing a monoculture cropping system is 54.0% more than intercropping, on the grounds that it is easier to maintain and easy to irrigate, it has even become a habit for farmers to apply monoculture planting systems, there are also farmers who have side jobs.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the performance of members of the Farmer's Group (Ngodirjo I) in Nyalabu Daya Village and to determine the strategy for improving the performance of members of the Farmer's Group (Ngodirjo I) in Nyalabu Daya Village. The research location was purposively conducted in Nyalabu Daya Village, Pamekasan District, Pamekasan Regency. The sample method used in this study is the census method in which all 30 people were interviewed in the population. The data technique was carried out in a qualitative descriptive way. The results showed that the Ngodirjo farmer group I liked to be active in activities, such as rarely holding meetings or meetings, so that it was a factor in the failure of Nyalabu Daya Village in the sector, so a strategy is needed to improve the performance of farmer groups by using a strategic approach that aims to improve the performance of farmer groups, so that the existence of farmer groups is beneficial for agricultural progress in the village, such as improving performance, using modern agricultural tools and solidifying all elements of the farming community in farming. Abstract

The Kostratani program is one of the agricultural development activities at the sub-district level. This research aims to analyze the factors that affect the performane of agricultural extension in the implementation of the Kostratani program in Sragen Regency. The subjects o this research are all agricultural extension in Sragen Regency who are civil servants as many as 54 peoples, the determination of research subjects was carried out by the census method. This research uses quantitative methods with survey techniques. Data analysis by using descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression test. The result of the analysis shows that the performance of agricultural extension in Sragen Regency for implementation Kostratani program is in the good enough category. The factors have a significant affect on the performance of agricultural extension in Sragen Regency by 19,5% at the level of significance α=5%. Abstract

Improvement of rice varieties in the highlands is very important considering the high effect of low temperatures on yield reduction, in addition to the production of variety quality, it needs to be considered in plant breeding activities, so that the F2 selection of red local rice crosses Toraja Pare Lea x Inpari is carried out. to select the F2 line from a cross of Pare Lea x Inpari 4 to get a superior character from the parent. The research was carried out in the rice fields of the Faculty of Agriculture, Tallunglipu District, North Toraja Regency. The research site is located at an altitude of about 750 m above sea level which was carried out from March 2019 to July 2019. This study used F1 seeds from a cross between Pare Lea x Inpari 4. This study used the Single Seed Discent (SSD) selection method. The observed characters are in the form of qualitative and quantitative characters of the results. The results showed that the diversity of characters of the F2 generation was very high, namely the average plant height of the line (115 - 150 Cm), the number of productive tillers (17 - 24), the age of harvest (120 - 145 Day), the number of pithy grain per panicle (236), weight of pithy grain per clump (126.7-143.6 g) and brown rice color (80%). Characters that had the highest positive correlation with increasing production (weight of pithy grain per clump) were the number of pithy grains per panicle (0.71), number of productive tillers (0.67), weight of 1000 seeds (0.25), and panicle length (0.24).

Abstract

The formulation of the research problem is how the effect of the application of vegetable pesticide extract against walang sangit(Leptocorisa oratorius) on Ciherang variety rice plants. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of application of vegetable pesticide extract on walang sangitpest (Leptocorisa oratorius) on ciherang variety rice plants. The type of research conducted was an experimental completely randomized design pattern (CRD) of 5 treatments and 4 replications. The treatments used were P0 = 0 ml, P1 = 200 ml, P2 = 300 ml, P3 = 400 ml, P4 = 500 ml. tabulated data was then analyzed using Variant Analysis (ANAVA). The results of this study showed that there was no effect of the application of vegetable pesticide extract on the number of stems in each clump and the number of grains attacked, but significantly affected the number of dead walang sangit bug and the number of grains not attacked with the most effective concentration indicated by a concentration of 400 ml, and Attack Intensity (IS) is still in the light category. It can be concluded that the application of plant-based pesticide extract has a very real effect on the grain not attacked with the most effective concentration is 400 ml with an average number of 275.75.The higher the concentration of vegetable pesticide extract, the higher the death rate in walang sangit pest(Leptocorisa oratorius). Abstract

The aim of this review is to determine the profile of yam tubers and their potential for food products. Yam (Dioscorea alata) is one of potential plants producing carbohydrate-rich tubers with short and coarse root hairs. The flesh color of the yam tubers can vary greatly, including white and purple. The carbohydrate content of yam tuber is high, ranging from 72.6-80.2% of the dry weight. Besides containing carbohydrates, yam tubers also contain bioactive components such as dioscin, dioscorin, allantoin, choline, polyphenols, and diosgenin. The granular shape of yam is generally oval, triangular, round and polygonal with the size ranging from 10-41.5 µm. The highest chemical composition of yam tubers was moisture and starchy component. Yam starch can be applied in various processed products such as instant noodles, analog rice, and ice cream. The low glycemic index of the yam can be beneficial for development of low GI instant noodles compared to other types of instant noodles. In addition, yam tubers can also be processed into analogue rice with a fairly high carbohydrate content.
