Abstract

This study aims to determine the development of skills and capacities in Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and identify the factors that influence the long-term success of MSMEs in Balige District, Toba Regency. MSMEs have an important role in the local and national economy, therefore upgrading their skills and capacities is the key to achieving sustainable growth. The research methods used are surveys, interviews, and secondary data analysis. The research sample consisted of various types of MSMEs in Balige District, Toba Regency. The research results show that developing the skills and capacity of MSMEs has a positive impact on their business performance. Managerial, financial, marketing and technical skills are key factors that influence the ability of MSMEs to compete in the market. In addition, external factors such as access to finance, government support, and infrastructure also play an important role in the long-term success of MSMEs. Regional government support in the form of training, market access and infrastructure are important factors in increasing the competitiveness of MSMEs. This research provides a better understanding of the importance of skills and capacity development in enhancing the long-term success of MSMEs. The implications of this research are the government and related stakeholders in efforts to increase the skills and capacity of MSMEs and provide adequate support to create a conducive environment for the growth of MSMEs in Balige District, Toba Regency. This will contribute to the development of the local economy and the welfare of local communities. Keywords: MSMEs; Skills Development; MSME capacity

Abstract

This article aims at describing the bad effects of bad parenting at home and bad relationship of parents with the son towards the son’s behavior and his learning motivation. By using the interviewing one of the teenagers during the recent three years, it can be described how was the effects of the authoritarian parenting style towards the son’s behavior and learning motivation. Authoritarian parenting style and bad relationship of parents and the son disturb the son’s five individual basic psychological needs as stated by Maslow: 1) safety, 2) love, 3) belongingness, 4) respect, and 5) self-esteem. It should be emphasized that these basic needs are essentially unconciuous, and when they are not filled, one’s behavior is more or less dominated by the drive to fill them. It results deficiency-motivated behavior, effects one’s basic anxiety, which then put him in the vicious circle. It increased bad behaviours in form of bad language use, conflicts, and neurotic needs. Naturally each individual has basic needs that should be fulfilled in order to make him have good behaviour and high motivation to learn both at home and school.

Abstract

The Research was entitled “Financial Report Analysis to Assess Financial Performance at PT Kimia Farma Tbk for the 2017-2022”. The aims of the research is to assess the financial performance of PT Kimia Farma Tbk by measuring liquidity ratios and profitability ratios. The type data used is secondary data in the form of financial position report and profit and loss statement for the period 2017-2022. The data collection using documentation techniques downloaded from the companys official website. The data analysis techniques used are ratio analysis and descriptive statistical analysis.The result of the research show that the financial performace of PT Kimia Farma Tbk period 2017-2022 is an a fluctuating state that tends to decline. Overall the level of liquidity ratios and profitability ratios are in the poor category because all ratios are below the industry average ratio

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of pentagon fraud on fraudulent financial statements. The samples that have been collected are 6 companies in the sub-construction infrastructure sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The research method uses a purposive sampling method with the number of samples that have been tabulated using associations. Analysis techniques using quantitative methods with descriptive statistical analysis, classical assumption tests (multicollinaryness, heterokedacity and auto correlation), logistic regression analysis and hypothesis testing using the help of SPSS software. The results showed that financial statbility, ineffective monitoring, change in director did not have a positive effect insignificantly, change in auditor, frequent number of ceo's picture had a positive effect not significant. Financial stability is likely because not only management increases profits but funds enter third parties, so that company managers do not feel any pressure obtained from the company's directors to improve finances due to financial stability within the company. Ineffective monitoring of the existence of the board of commissioners in the company so that independent supervision and transparency occur can minimize the occurrence of fraudulent financial statements in the company. Change in director policy is carried out by the stakeholders of the entity to improve the performance of the board of directors owned not for anything else to cover up the fraudulent financial statement. Change in auditor The company changes auditors to cover up the detection of financial statement fraud by old auditors, but the company complies with the regulations set by the Government of the Minister of Finance of Indonesia Number 20 of 2015 article 11 paragraph (1) related to mandatory changes of auditors. Frequent number of ceo's picture appreciation for CEO's who have performed well so that it affects the entity.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the Public Service Analysis of the Level of Community Satisfaction in Lagading Village, Pitu Riase District, Sidenreng Rappang Regency. The population in this study was 47 people who received services in November and December in Lagading Village, Pitu Riase District, Sidenreng Rappang Regency. The sampling technique uses a saturated sample where the entire population is sampled. This type of research is quantitative descriptive. The data collection techniques used in this research were observation, literature study and questionnaires. The data analysis technique used is validity and reliability testing, using the IBM SPSS statistics 26.0 application. The results of this research showed that the Public Service Analysis from the results of the questionnaire obtained a recapitulation of public service variables of 61% in the "good" category, and a recapitulation of public satisfaction level variables of 67% in the "Good" category. Apart from that, the influence between Public Service Analysis and the level of community satisfaction in Lagading Village is categorized as "influential/significant". From the ANOVA test, the F count obtained was 101.683 with a significance level of 0.003. This shows that the influence of the independent variable has a significant effect, and the probability is far above 0.05, partially. The calculated t value (1,084) ≥ t table (1,673) means that the analysis of public services is influential/significant on the level of community satisfaction in Lagading Village, Pitu Riase District, Sidenreng Rappang Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the Effect of Profitability, Solvency and Company Size on Company Value Empirical Study on Food and Beverage and Cosmetics and Household Sub-Sector Manufacturing Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2016-2020 Period. Profitability is measured using Return on Assets (ROA) which uses the formula EBIT (Earnings Before Interest and Tax) divided by total assets. Solvency is proxied by the Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) measured using total debt divided by total capital. And Company Size is proxied by Size measured using the natural logarithm of total sales. While the Company Value in this study is proxied by Price to Book Value (PBV) with the stock price formula divided by the book value per share. The method used in this study is a saturated sample technique where all members of the population are used as samples. Using several predetermined criteria, this study amounted to 18 food and beverage companies and 5 cosmetic and household companies so that the total sample was 23 companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2016-2020. The type of data used in this study is secondary data sourced from financial statements and annual reports. The data analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of hypothesis testing show that simultaneously Profitability, Solvency, and Company Size have a significant effect on Company Value. Partially, profitability has a positive and significant effect on Company Value in food and beverage sub-sector companies and cosmetics and household sub-sector companies. Solvency does not have a significant effect on Company Value in food and beverage sub-sector companies, while Solvency has a positive and significant effect on Company Value in cosmetics and household sub-sector companies. Company Size has a positive and significant effect on Company Value in food and beverage sub-sector companies, while Company Size has a negative and significant effect on Company Value in cosmetics and household sub-sector companies.

Abstract

This research aims to determine factors that can improve employee performance at the Semarang Candisari Pratama Tax Service Office. The independent variable in this research is mutation and the dependent variable is employee performance with normative commitment and extrinsic motivation as mediating variables. This research uses quantitative methods using questionnaires to collect the required data. The sample in this study was 72 employees taken using the census sampling method. The analysis used was structural equation model (SEM) analysis using the SmartPLS analysis tool. The results of this research show that mutation and normative commitment have a significant positive effect on employee performance, but extrinsic motivation does not have a significant effect on employee performance. Mutations have also been proven to influence normative commitment and extrinsic motivation. The normative commitment variable functions to mediate the relationship between mutation and employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze Bibliometrics on Economic Empowerment and Food Security from a Development Economics Perspective. The method used is qualitative research with a literature study approach, where the data found and analyzed includes 99 documents obtained from the Scopus database. The analysis used VOSviewer to map and analyze the data. The analysis results show a global trend showing a significant increase in publications from 2018 to 2023, reflecting the growing interest and focus in Economic Empowerment and Food Security research from a Development Economics Perspective. The United States is the country that contributes the most research publications on this topic. In 2023, Anwar, S., Elum, Z.A., Gitaharie, B.Y., Handayani, D., Khan, M.T.I., Mayo Wilson, L.J., Omotayo, A.O., and Slotow, R. were the most productive authors, each contributing 2 documents. Research trends show an increasing focus throughout the decade, highlighting the importance of understanding and research efforts in addressing complex challenges related to economics and food security.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the level of human resource competency on the quality of public services at the Bina Baru Village Office, Kulo District, Sidenreng Rappang Regency and to determine the quality of public services at the Bina Baru Village Office, Kulo District, Sidenreng Rappang Regency. The population and sample in this research were 52 people who received services in May and June 2023 at the Bina Baru Village Office. The sampling technique used was a saturated sample. This type of research is quantitative descriptive. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, literature study and questionnaires. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistics and with the help of the SPSS version 21 application. The research results show that the Human Resources Competency Level at the Bina Baru Village Office is in the "poor" category with a percentage of 58%. The quality of public services at the Bina Baru Village Office is in the "poor" category with a percentage of 60%. The Competency Level of Human Resources on the Quality of Public Services at the Bina Baru Village Office, Kulo District, Sidenreng Rappang Regency is in the "Significant/Influential" category. significant, and the probability is far above 0.005, based on the calculated t value > t table or 3,483 ≥ 1,676, then H0 is rejected, meaning that the Competency Level of Human Resources is Significant/Influences the Quality of Public Services at the Bina Baru Village Office, Kulo District, Sidenreng Rappang Regency.

Abstract

The Directorate General of Taxation is the agency responsible for managing state revenues through Service Offices in each region. Employees who work in tax service offices are required to perform well for the benefit of the agency. This research functions to analyze the relationship between modernization of tax administration and job rotation on the performance of the Account Representative (AR) of the Madya Semarang Tax Service Office (KPP) with Motivation as a mediation variable.This research uses quantitative approach that use questionnairy to collect the necessary data. The sample in this study was 48, obtained through the census method. The analysis used to process the data is path analysis with SmartPLS software. The results show that whether the presence or the unpresent of Tax Administration Modernization or not, ARs are still required to perform according to the standards set by the agency and are still required to work optimally after receiving the job rotation decision. Modernization of Tax Administration can increase AR motivation. AR motivation tends to be stable after employees are rotated to a new place, but high motivation can increase AR performance significantly. The findings in this research show that optimal Tax Administration Modernization can improve AR performance supported by high AR motivation.
