Abstract

This study used a qualitative approach with descriptive form that menyajikat picture of good governance phenomena that occur at the level of districts in the province of North Sumatra. This research was conducted in 2016, located in Pematangsiantar specifically phenomenon observation area of ​​research carried out in several districts scattered in Pematangsiantar.Results of research descriptively explained that the application of the values ​​of good governance in the sub-districts scattered in Pematangsiantar is good enough. Nevertheless strategic efforts aimed at improving the implementation of the spirit of the values ​​of good governance will be developed as sustainable as needed empowerment and service to the community.There are several factors that significantly affect the successful implementation of the values ​​of good governance throughout the District Government in Pematangsiantar which includes aspects of delegation of authority fully to implementing the wheels of government as to regions remote / rural areas, improvement of infrastructure especially in districts away from the district capital, and no less importantly include improved aspects of community development districts through qualified human resources and be able to compete as in trying to meet their basic needs.

Abstract

The purpose of the research was to analyze the organizational factors with the performance of village midwives in providing maternal and child health services. The research type of quantitative method is analytic research with cross sectional approach. Research population of all village midwives who served in 5 (five) working areas of Puskesmas in North Tapanuli Regency. The sample of research using total sampling method as many as 120 people. Instrument of data collection used questionnaire. Data analysis used univariate analysis, bivariate with chi square test. The results showed that there was a relation between leadership (p <0.001), incentive (p <0.001) with village midwife performance in providing maternal and child health services. It is expected that the District Health Office of Tapanuli Utara District, in order to increase the incentives of the village midwife so that the village midwife is satisfied with adequate incentives and can show good performance in providing maternal and child health services

Abstract

In Law No. 6 of 2014 the village affirms that the village is no longer an administrative area, not even a subordinate or an element of regional implementation, but a special and independent area. Abstract

Karo regency has alot of tourism potential consist of marine tourism, religious tourism, culture tourism, ecotourism and others. The tourist destination have it’s own appeal for domestic or foreign tourists. The tourist visits increased every year. This study aims to determine the potential and strategy for developing tourism in Karo District. This type of research is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Research informants were determined purposively. The technique of collecting data was done by observation, interviews and documentation. Analysis data is was with data reduction, presentation of data, conclusion and data triangulation. The data are presented and analyzed in descriptively. The results shows that department of tourism Karo regency have strategy to develop the tourism. Development strategy used such as; Man, for maximize human resources quantity of department of tourism Karo regency, then departmen of tourism has cooperate with stakeholder such as community, agent, blogger, and establish tourism promotion agency for support the tourism marketing.

Abstract

People's Business Credit (KUR) is a government program to increase Small, Micro, and Medium Enterprises (UMKM). Micro Business Loan (KUR) is a credit for financing productive business segment of micro, small, medium, and cooperative feasible but not yet bankable for working capital and / or investment credit through direct and indirect financing pattern (linkage) guaranteed by Lembaga Penjamin Kredit. This study aims to examine how the implementation of KUR distribution and its role in the empowerment of women. This research uses mixed methods method. The sample in this research was 71 respondents who were drawn using Taro Yamane formula with precision 0,1. The location of this research is PT. Bank Mandiri branch of Medan Iskandar Muda (Tbk). The results of this study show that the distribution system of KUR PT. Bank Mandiri branch of Medan Iskandar Muda (Tbk) through nine stages using the 5 C standard (Capital, Collateral, condition, character, capacity) as the implementation guideline. The results of the study of obtaining the KUR program have a good impact on the business development and personal debtor. This is because the survey system conducted on an ongoing basis by PT. Bank Mandiri branch of Medan Iskandar Muda (Tbk) forced the debtor to discipline in financial management.

Abstract

Marketing strategy as an important aspect to maintain and expand opportunities to reach the market. Studies that explore the Bank's internal marketing strategies have been examined by previous research but based on competitive banking dynamics and highly dynamic market demands it is difficult to predict, the study of marketing strategies in the context of the Bank's companies is considered to be relevant for review at any time. This article aims to analyze the marketing strategies available at PT Bank Mandiri, Tbk Yogyakarta branch 2004 with the SWOT analysis method. Data was obtained through interviews with the management of the Bank Mandiri Yogyakarta branch. The analytical tool used is the analysis of industrial structure (Porter), SWOT. The results of the study through a SWOT analysis of the position of PT. Bank Mandiri in its marketing strategy uses a growth strategy.

Abstract

Urban Village has the main task of carrying out government, development and community affairs (article 4 paragraph 1 of the Republic of Indonesia Government Regulation No. 73 of 2005 concerning Urban Village). The community's demands for good public services cannot be separated from the existence of the urban village which is very close to the local residents. The complaints that arise from local residents indicate that the service is still not satisfactory in terms of speed of completion of work in administrative matters, this is related to the ability and motivation of Human Resources (employees). Extension activities provide education in the form of lectures and discussions as well as evaluation of knowledge before and after counseling. The results of the extension activities showed that there was an increase in additional knowledge of 25.11% after the extension was carried out. It is hoped that this counseling activity can be sustainable in an effort to improve work skills and motivation to improve employee performance in providing services to the community in accordance with the duties and functions of the urban village.

Abstract

This study investigates the impoliteness strategies in online comments in Liputan6.com. The objectives of this study are: 1) to investigate the types of impoliteness strategies used on online comments in website Liputan6.com, 2) to find out the dominant type of impoliteness strategies used on online comments in website Liputan6.com. This study was conducted by using qualitative content analysis method. The data were taken from comments of internet users in five topics of political news in Idntimes.com. The finding showed that four of five types of impoliteness strategies are used on online comments in website Liputan6.com. They are: Bald on Record, Positive impoliteness, Negative Impoliteness, and Sarcasm or Mock politeness. The dominant types is negative impoliteness by used scorn or ridicules comments and invade the other's space with that comments and explicitly associate the other with a negative aspect.

Abstract

Family Welfare Empowerment is one of the community organizations and plays a very important role in community empowerment. This study aims to reveal the form of family welfare empowerment activities in empowering women. This research was conducted in Tegal Arum Village, Rimbo Bujang District, Tebo Regency, Jambi Province. The empowerment implemented by the PKK in Tegal Arum Village is in the form of empowering life skills, namely the PKK chairman provides guidance, provides skills equipment, and conducts training, as well as marketing. Furthermore, PKK in spiritual development held regular recitations and grand yasinan. In terms of health empowerment, PKK holds a posyandu every month for toddlers and the elderly. In toddlers holding immunizations, giving milk to toddlers, and providing additional food (PMT). While for the elderly, namely conducting counseling on healthy lifestyles, holding health checks. In Tegal Arum Village in the field of working group I, namely the practice and appreciation of Pancasila and mutual cooperation, the PKK Mobilization Team holds regular recitations of pahingan once a month and holds regular recitations every Friday, and carries out community service cleaning the posyandu yards and the yard in Tegal Arum Village . In the field of working group II, namely education and skills programs as well as the development of cooperative life, the PKK Mobilization Team carries out the UP2K field, namely the skills field, by processing handicrafts and processed foods such as stick plates, sweet potato chips and lunkhead. In the field of working group III, namely food, clothing, housing and household management, the Tegal Arum Village PKK Mobilizing Team formed a group of youths to manage vacant land in Tegal Arum Village. In the areas of working group IV, namely health, environmental sustainability, and healthy planning, the PKK Mobilizing Team carries out outreach to the community related to community needs.

Abstract

This study aims to financial distress predict and the level of accuracy using the Springate model in the property and real estate sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2019-2020 period. The population of this study is all property and real estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2019-2020 period, so the population of this study managed to find 66 companies. Samples were selected based on predetermined purposive sampling criteria. The sample selected according to the specified criteria is 37 companies. The data analysis technique used the Springate S-Score discriminant analysis technique. The results of the bankruptcy analysis using the Springate method, namely in 2019 before the onset of covid-19 there were 27 property and real estate companies in financial distress and 10 companies in healthy condition (non-financial distress). In 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic, there were additional companies that were in financial distress, namely 34 companies and only 3 companies that remained in a healthy condition (non-financial distress). Based on the results of the analysis of the Springate method in predicting bankruptcy in property and real estate sector companies, it has an accuracy rate of 62.2%.
