Abstract

A boiler is an equipment that produces steam, which is used as a heater, drives a turbine to produces electricity, and so on. In order to avoid reducing efficiency boilers and save operational costs due to the formation of scale and corrosion on pipes, special treatment is required for boiler water. However, the facts in the field are that many BFW (Boiler Feed Water) products are found that do not meet the quality requirements set by the company. PT. Petrokimia Gresik is an industrial chemical company that uses boilers to assist its production process. The method used in this study is quality control analysis with the PDCA approach and Seven Tools in the form of check sheets, histograms, Pareto diagrams, control charts, fishbone diagrams, and FMEA to identify the factors causing the occurrence of defective products and see the corrective actions that must be taken based on the factors causing the occurrence of defective products. Preventive maintenance was carried out to create and schedule socialization of SOPs, collect data on spare part replacements, and check the chemical content in work unit wastewater. Based on the research results, it reveals that the PDCA approach and Seven Tools can minimize defects and succeed in reducing SO3 and PO4 parameter defects by 67,5%. The proposed improvement efforts include preventive maintenance, monitoring the consistency of SOP implementation, identifying replacement spare parts, as well as checking chemical content in work unit wastewater.

The medical resume or summary of the patient's history must be filled out completely, containing important information about the disease, examination and treatment provided with a standard of 100% completeness. Incomplete resumes will disrupt process continuity and patient safety. The aim of this research is to analyze the factors that cause incomplete filling out of medical resumes for inpatients in hospitals based on the management elements consisting of 5M, namely Man, Money, Method, Material, and Machine. The research method used is a literature review. Search articles using databases Google Scholar with selection according to inclusion and exclusion criteria. The number of literature found was 8 journals. The results obtained in this research are from the elements man limited number of human resources, high workload, time constraints, lack of understanding by officers regarding the importance of filling out resumes, and no training for officers. Element money, there are no constraints on funding sources. Element method namely lack of socialization of SOPs, SOPs do not yet exist, there is no system reward and punishment, SOP is not detailed enough, there is no evaluation of resume completeness. Element material, that is, the resume filling items are less simple. Element machine, namely inadequate facilities and infrastructure and slow distribution of files. The solutions taken to overcome this are calculating the amount of workload, implementing a disciplined attitude, providing training, preparing a special budget, creating and socializing SOPs, providing reward and punishment. redesigning resume forms, completing facilities and infrastructure in the medical records unit.

Abstract

The objective of this study was to determine whether team games tournaments supported by the quizizz application improved student learning independence. Students from the Jambi University Chemistry Education Study Program took courses in chemistry mathematics in classes A and B in the 2023/2024 academic year. This study is a quasi-experimental study with a non-equivalent group design, with class A as the control class and class B as the experimental class. A questionnaire was used to collect data on students' learning independence both before and after the team games event that was made possible by the Quizizz application to make sure the data from both groups were homogeneous and normally distributed, the initial independent data from both sample classes were checked for both normality and homogeneity. The independent-samples t test is then used to compare data on students' learning independence before and after the team games tournament with the use of the Quizizz application. A significant value of 0.005 in the independent-samples t test results indicated that there was an increase in student learning independence following the implementation of the team games tournament supported by the Quizizz application. Based on these findings, the study came to the conclusion that enhancing student learning independence might be achieved through the use of the Quizizz app in conjunction with a team games event.

Abstract

This study investigates the potential of blockchain technology in safeguarding and managing Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) in Indonesia, focusing on copyrights and industrial property rights. It employs a qualitative descriptive methodology, using secondary data from relevant legislation and literature. Data analysis follows the Miles and Huberman technique. The results demonstrate that blockchain technology offers substantial promise in enhancing the protection and administration of IPR. It can validate copyright ownership, record copyright-related transactions, and enhance security and transparency in copyright management. Moreover, it can be relevant in safeguarding trademarks and patents, efficiently tracking ownership and usage, and preventing infringement. The study implies that the implementation of blockchain technology in IPR management in Indonesia requires more detailed regulations and collaboration among stakeholders. It also highlights the need to consider contemporary Islamic Law perspectives to ensure optimal protection for creative and intellectual rights in the digital age.
