Abstract

E-Wom, as a form of marketing communication, makes many contributions to marketing activities. E-Wom, in several previous studies, showed a contribution to consumer behavior. This study links the concept of E-Wom with green products and looks at its effect on Green Purchase Behavior. Green product is currently a much-discussed issue, given the increasingly felt impact of global warming. Global warming has finally forced corporates and consumers to be wise in choosing products. The method used in this research is an explanatory quantitative method, with a data collection tool in the form of a questionnaire. Respondents in this study were late adolescents and early adults in Surabaya and its surroundings. The results of this study indicate that E-Wom about green products has a significant influence on green purchase behavior. The influence of E-Wom as a single factor is not that strong. Another finding recorded in this study is the high value of the share information product that occurs. Most of the respondents were reluctant to start a chat about product reviews, they would provide arguments if they had started, and the E-Wom in this study was more on a personal level.

Abstract

A high number of cases of religious intolerance accompanied by violence has occurred in the last 5 years, causing disharmony in inter-religious relations and disrupting community interaction in religious life. This phenomenon has prompted the Ministry of Religion to set policies and take concrete steps in applying the concept of religious moderation in order to prevent the spread of cases of intolerance. The same thing was also done in the Provinces of the Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta and Central Java. This study is one of the efforts to find out how communication patterns are in the mainstreaming of religious moderation in both provinces, which is represented by Gunung Kidul Regency and Kebumen Regency. This research uses a qualitative approach. Data was collected through documentation techniques and direct observation in the field, accompanied by interviews and focus discussion groups for officials. Ministry religion, religious leaders, and Islamic religious educators in both locations are the spearhead in promoting moderation in various ways. The research results show that the Office Ministry Religion DIY Province and Kebumen Regency, Central Java, have implemented religious moderation policies through three forms: socialization, institutionalization, and activity evaluation. Furthermore, this study found that the communication patterns developed in the mainstreaming of religious moderation were relatively the same, namely centered on formal leaders and religious leaders in society.

Abstract

The 2024 general election in Indonesia carries significant importance as it provides the nation with an opportunity to exercise its democratic rights and actively participate in shaping the country's political landscape. As the cornerstone of Indonesia's Unitary State, the election mandates direct, public, free, confidential, honest, and fair representation based on Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution. This study focuses on Partai Amanat Nasional (PAN), one of the prominent political parties participating in the election, and examines its political communication strategies on Instagram. The research delves into the content and style of Instagram posts made by PAN's celebrity politicians, who have backgrounds in the entertainment industry. By employing content analysis, the study identifies three types of messages conveyed by these celebrity politicians: political messages, political events, and non-political messages. The analysis uncovers PAN's efforts to establish a dynamic online presence and engage with the audience through a diverse content mix. Furthermore, the research explores the unique characteristics of Instagram Reels, which constitute the majority of PAN's posts, and their alignment with the short attention spans of netizens. Reels offer a powerful communication channel for politicians to connect with their audience and disseminate their political messages effectively.

Abstract

The isoflavones in tempe, such as genistein and daidzein, are compounds known as phytoestrogens. Phytoestrogens are plant compounds that have a structure similar to the human hormone estrogen. Since decreasing estrogen levels is one of the main characteristics in menopause, the isoflavones in tempe have attracted the attention of researchers. They hypothesized that these phytoestrogens might help reduce menopausal symptoms, including hot flashes, because they can bind to estrogen receptors in the body. This study aimed to determine the effect of giving steamed tempe on the symptoms of hot flashes in menopausal mothers in the Mulya Mekar Health Center Area, Purwakarta Regency, Indonesia. This study is experimental research with a pre-post-test approach without a control group and uses primary data, namely measuring the severity scale of hot flashes symptoms. A total of 30 research subjects took part in this study. This study shows that the intervention of providing processed tempe is effective in reducing the severity of hot flashes symptoms in postmenopausal mothers. There was a decrease in the severity of hot flashes symptoms and was stated to be statistically different, p<0.05. In conclusion, there is an effect of giving steamed tempe on the symptoms of hot flashes in menopausal mothers in the Mulya Mekar Health Center Area, Purwakarta Regency, Indonesia.
