Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of Islamic business ethics in increasing consumer buying interest in the RY store. Lubis Aek Galoga Panyabungan, Mandailing Natal. The problem in this study is the sales turnover at the RY store. Lubis, which has experienced a significant decline. Especially since 2018 to 2022, it has shown a continuous decline. This decline in sales turnover identifies a decline in consumer buying interest in making purchases at the RY store. The research location is at the RY store. Lubis Aek Galoga Panyabungan. The method used is quantitative with a statistical method, taking samples with a sampling technique, namely non-probability sampling. The research sample amounted to 87 respondents. The variables used are justice, honesty, and ihsan/generosity. This study uses primary data using quantitative analysis. The results of the study show that the honesty variable has a positive and significant effect with a value of 2,904 on consumer buying interest. Justice has a positive and significant effect with a value of 3,788 on consumer buying interest. The ihsan/generosity variable has an effect and is significant with a value of 11,887. simultaneously that Fcount 177.496 > 2.71 F table, then Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. Therefore, it is stated that the independent variables covering justice, honesty, and ihsan/generosity simultaneously influence the consumer buying interest variable significantly.

Abstract

Financial institutions, especially sharia banking institutions, will always face various forms of risk with varying complexity and are inherent in business activities in their business. Therefore, it is very urgent to implement risk management in Islamic banking in order to identify, measure and control the various risks that will be faced. This research aims to examine the concept of risk management implemented in Indonesian sharia banking. The type of research carried out by researchers is library research by searching and collecting references that are relevant to the study topic. Data analysis was carried out by data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The findings from this research are that the types of risks that are common in sharia banking consist of financing risk, liquidity risk, operational risk and market risk.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh citra merek, labelisasi halal, dan variasi produk terhadap keputusan pembelian lipstik Wardah di Kota Pekanbaru. Dengan menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan pendekatan survei, penelitian ini melibatkan 100 responden perempuan berusia antara 20 hingga 40 tahun yang dipilih secara purposive. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner dengan skala Likert 5 poin, dan data dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier berganda dengan SPSS versi 25. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa citra merek, labelisasi halal, dan variasi produk secara signifikan mempengaruhi keputusan pembelian lipstik Wardah, dengan koefisien regresi masing-masing sebesar 0,414, 0,178, dan 0,212. Uji F menunjukkan model regresi signifikan dengan nilai F sebesar 63,684 dan signifikansi 0,000, serta koefisien determinasi (R²) sebesar 0,666. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa ketiga variabel tersebut merupakan faktor penting yang mempengaruhi keputusan pembelian lipstik Wardah di Pekanbaru, dan perusahaan kosmetik perlu meningkatkan citra merek, memastikan labelisasi halal, serta menawarkan variasi produk yang inovatif untuk memenuhi kebutuhan konsumen.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the price of palm fruit bunches on the welfare of farmers in Beringin Village, Talang Muandau District, Bengkalis Regency. The sample in this study were oil palm collectors and farmers in Beringin Village, Talang Muandau District, Bengkalis Regency totaling 30 people. While the variables examined in this study is the of  price of palm fruit bunches and welfare of farmers. Based on the results obtained that price of palm fruit bunches simultaneously affect the welfare of farmers with a value of correlation R = 0.731 which shows the close relationship between the of price of palm fruit bunches and welfare of farmers in Beringin Village, Talang Muandau District, Bengkalis Regency. While the R-square at 0.535 which can mean of price of palm fruit bunches has a contribution of 53.5% contribution to welfare of farmers in Beringin Village, Talang Muandau District, Bengkalis Regency. Partially obtained of price of palm fruit bunches effect on the welfare of farmers in Beringin Village, Talang Muandau District, Bengkalis Regency with signifivantly 0.000 smaller than alpha 0.05. With simple linear regression equation in this study : Y = 7.008 + 0.809X.

Abstract

The issue of climate change has become an urgent global challenge that requires immediate action. Achieving Sustainable Development Goal 13 (SDG 13), which pertains to climate action, has become a top priority in efforts to mitigate the negative impacts that have occurred and are ongoing. In this context, Islamic social finance instruments emerge as a tool with great potential to support environmental sustainability goals. This approach integrates the principles of Islamic social finance, emphasizing justice, sustainability, and fair distribution, with global efforts to address climate change. This article seeks to explain how Islamic social finance instruments can be used as investment vehicles supporting green projects, renewable energy, and other endeavors aimed at reducing carbon emissions and preserving ecosystem balance. We also evaluate the positive impact achieved in attaining SDG 13 through the implementation of these instruments. Despite some hurdles that need to be addressed, such as broader awareness and understanding of Islamic social finance, its potential to contribute to climate change mitigation and the achievement of SDG 13 is significant. This article provides insights into how the Islamic social finance approach can become an integral part of the global solution to address climate change and achieve environmental sustainability.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of Islamic financial literacy and public perception on interest in saving at Islamic banks. The data in this study were collected through questionnaires. This study used purposive sampling technique with a total sample of 106 respondents in Pancoran Mas District, Depok City. The method used in this research was the Partial Least Square Structural Equation Model (PLS-SEM). The results of this research show that financial literacy has a positive and significant effect on the Pancoran Mas community's interest in saving at Islamic banks. Then public perception also has a positive and significant influence on the Pancoran Mas community's interest in saving at Islamic banks.Keywords: Islamic Financial Literacy; Perception; Interest in Saving; Islamic Bank

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi penerimaan dan penggunaan aplikasi BSI Mobile oleh nasabah di Kabupaten Bone menggunakan model Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT). Data diperoleh dari 110 responden dan dianalisis dengan Partial Least Square (PLS). Hasil menunjukkan bahwa Performance Expectancy berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Behavioral Intention (koefisien 0.475, t-statistic 6.287, p-value 0.000) dan Use Behavior (koefisien 0.305, t-statistic 3.598, p-value 0.000). Effort Expectancy memengaruhi Behavioral Intention (koefisien 0.289, t-statistic 3.954, p-value 0.000), namun tidak signifikan terhadap Use Behavior secara langsung. Social Influence tidak signifikan terhadap Behavioral Intention (-0.029, t-statistic 0.303, p-value 0.762) maupun Use Behavior (0.033, t-statistic 0.344, p-value 0.731). Sebaliknya, Facilitating Conditions memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap Behavioral Intention (0.441, t-statistic 5.549, p-value 0.000) dan Use Behavior (0.364, t-statistic 3.741, p-value 0.000). Behavioral Intention berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Use Behavior (0.524, t-statistic 3.700, p-value 0.000) dan memediasi pengaruh variabel lain. Implikasi penelitian ini menyoroti pentingnya dukungan teknologi dan aksesibilitas dalam mendorong adopsi perbankan digital.

Abstract

Good knowledge of the principles, objectives and functions of cooperatives as well as high motivation are expected to increase member involvement in cooperative activities. The aim of this research is to test and analyze the influence of cooperative knowledge and cooperative motivation on cooperative member participation. This research uses a quantitative approach with survey methods. The sampling technique uses saturated sampling and the data collection method uses a questionnaire. The data was processed using SPSS 23 tools. The analysis used included data quality testing, classical assumption testing, multiple linear regression testing, and hypothesis testing. The research results show that cooperative knowledge and cooperative motivation have a positive and significant effect on member participation. Similar results were obtained with the f test which stated that cooperative knowledge and cooperative motivation had a simultaneous effect on member participation.Keywords: Cooperative knowledge, cooperative motivation, member participation, Islamic economics, student cooperatives.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the strategy in developing Zona Kuliner Halal, Aman dan Sehat (KHAS)characterised by Malay culture in Pekanbaru City using the pentahelix method. The pentahelix approach involves cooperation between the government, academics, business people, indigenous peoples, and the media. This research was conducted in two locations, namely Raun-Raun Culinary Zone on Jl. Arifin Ahmad and Aero Sport Culinary Zone on Jl. Kaharudin Nasution. Data collection methods were observation and interview. In determining the development model or expansion of the Zona Kuliner Halal, Aman dan Sehat (KHAS), the researcher chose the Pentahelix Model, which is a research approach that involves five different parties, namely government, academia, industry, civil society, and the media. The results show that the Malay characterised KHAS zone can enhance the halal industry in Pekanbaru by adopting strict development criteria, effective management strategies, and comprehensive action plans. The application of the pentahelix method proved effective in coordinating and implementing the development of this zone. The analysis shows the importance of coordinated planning, infrastructure arrangement, halal industry cluster development, promotion, effective governance, and the use of technology and innovation. A pentahelix collaboration between government, academia, industry, civil society and media is needed to ensure the success and sustainability of the KHAS zone. This research concludes that the development strategy of KHAS zones characterised by Malay can strengthen cultural identity, attract investment, and encourage economic growth in Pekanbaru City.Keywords: strategy, KHAS Zone, halal industry, pentahelix

Abstract

This study aims to analyze production activities in the perspective of Islamic economics with the maqashid sharia approach. The method used is descriptive qualitative through literature studies that utilize secondary data from various literature sources. The results of the study indicate that production in Islam is not only oriented towards material profit, but must also fulfill the five main objectives of maqashid sharia: maintaining religion, soul, mind, descendants, and property. Production must avoid goods that are forbidden and dangerous, and pay attention to sustainability and social responsibility. In addition, maqashid sharia emphasizes the importance of maintaining five main aspects: religion, soul, mind, descendants, and property. This study also identifies two important prohibitions in production, namely the prohibition of producing forbidden goods and dangerous goods.Keywords: Production, Islamic Economics, Maqashid Sharia
