Abstract

Abstract - The concept of synergistic synbiotics ( prebiotics and probiotics ) recently used for the characterization of foods as biosuplemen health improvement infunctional foodis soyghurt ) One way food fortification fermented yoghurt based on vegetable protein or soy seed with supplementation of probiotics and prebiotics . The purpose of the research was to determine the effect biosuplemen synbiotics( probiotics and prebiotics ) in soyghurt as an immunostimulant and lowering cholesterol levels . The research method consists of three stages: the first stage is the isolation of probiotic from yoghurt fermentation industrial products ; the second stage is biopreparation synbiotics in soyghurt the addition of robiotics : 2 % maltodextrin , FOS 2 % , the mixtures 2 % FOS: Maltodextrin 2 % = 1 : 1 and 2 % Chito - oligosaccharides and probiotics 10 % v / v ( Lactobacillus casei ) ; the third stage is the analysis of fermented product that level of fat, level of protein, levelof microbial contamination and the level of preference ( color , smell , consistency , flavor ) by panelists. The results showed the fortification synbiotics in soyghurt as a functional food can provide immunostimulatory effects of cholesterol - lowering and an effortto reduce the risk of coronary heartdisease . Abstract

SMK Negeri 1 Semen Kediri is a newly established school, hence the facilities and infrastructure to support learning activities have not been available yet. This study aims to determine the role of the media of environment to enhance the activity and results of learning science of students of Grade X-TKJ SMK 1 Semen Kediri. The study was conducted as Class Action Research according Kemmis and Taggart (1992) as much as two cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages i.e:  planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The parameters observed in each cycle were cognitive learning outcomes and student activity. Learning outcomes was measured by post-test, whereas students' activity was measured by assessment rubric according Supinah (2009). Media usage environment can improve student learning outcomes than the average 78 in the first cycle to 85 in cycle II, as well as an increasing of the percentage of student activity, i.e. 74% in the first cycle to 8t% in cycle II.Keywords: media, environment, learning outcomes, students’ activities

Abstract

Jamur tiram putih  disebut juga dengan jamur kayu karena jamur tersebut tumbuh pada media kayu lapuk. Jamur tiram putih banyak digemari masyarakat karena selain memiliki cita rasa yang enak juga memiliki banyak manfaat bagi tubuh. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui  adanya pengaruh molase dengan dosis berbeda pada produktivitas jamur tiram putih. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak  lengkap  satu faktorial yaitu pemberian molase dengan  empat  taraf konsentrasi 0 %, 7,5 %, 14,5 % dan 22 %  / baglog dan dilakukan tiga ulangan. Untuk pengujian hipotesis dengan anova satu jalan (One Way Anova), hasil pengujian hipotesis pada pemenuhan miseliumdiperoleh nilai probabilitas 0,001 < 0.05 H0 ditolak artinya antara ke empat perlakuan tidak sama atau berbeda nyata maka dilakukan Pos Hok Test uji lanjut Anova dengan uji LSD. Berat buah jamur tiram putih panen I diperoleh nilai probabilitas 0,021 < 0.05 H0 ditolak artinya antara ke empat perlakuan tidak sama atau berbeda nyata nyata maka dilakukan Pos Hok Test uji lanjut Anova dengan uji LSD, sedangkan pada parameter yang lain diperoleh kesimpulan H0  diterima artinya tidak terdapat perbedaan antara ke empat perlakuan.  Hasil penelitian pada pengamatan pemenuhan miseliumdiperoleh perlakuan yang memberikan pengaruh paling baik yaitu M1 (7,5 % molase/ baglog) dengan rata-rata pemenuhan miselium16,3 hari dan perlakuan yang memberikan pengaruh kurang baik yaitu M0 atau kontrol dengan rata-rata 27,7 hari. Pada jumlah total tubuh buah jamur diperoleh perlakuan yang memberikan pengaruh paling baik yaitu M3 (22 % molase/ baglog) dengan rata-rata 11,5 buah dan perlakuan yang memberikan pengaruh kurang baik yaitu M0 (kontrol) dengan rata-rata 9 buah. Pada berat buah jamur tiram putih perlakuan yang memberikan pengaruh paling baik yaitu M3  (22 % molase/ baglog) dengan rata-rata 78,2 g dan  perlakuan yang memberikan  pengaruh kurang baik yaitu M0 dengan rata-rata 48,85 g. Dari hasil tersebut diperoleh kesimpulan M1 dosis molase paling rendah (7,5%) berpengaruh pada pemenuhan miselium dan M3 dosis molase paling tinggi (22 %) berpengaruh pada jumlah tubuh buah dan berat buah jamur.  Kata Kunci: Molase, Penyebaran Miselium, Jumlah Tubuh Jamur Tiram Putih, Berat Buah Jamur Tiram Putih

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui:  1) Penggunaan suplemen yang merupakan pengembangan topik sebagai hasil penelitian dalam pokok bahasan Limbah dapat meningkatkan keaktifan  berdiskusi siswa dalam proses pembelajaran Biologi. 2) Penggunaan suplemen yang merupakan pengembangan topik sebagai hasil penelitian dalam pokok bahasan Limbah dapat meningkatkan respon  siswa dalam proses pembelajaran Biologi. di kelas X SMA Al Islam 1, SMA Batik 1 dan SMA N 7 Surakarta dalam pembelajaran Biologi pada materi pelajaran Ekosistem 2008/2009.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari 4 tahap yaitu perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subyek penelitian adalah siswa kelas X 8 dari tiga SMA di Surakarta,Data penelitian diperoleh melalui penyebaran angket, observasi, dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data adalah dengan teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Validasi data dengan menggunakan teknik triangulasi.            Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa dengan penggunaan suplemen hasil penelitian pada topik yang diajarkan pada SMA dapat meningkatkan 1) Aktivitas bertanya 2) Aktivitas berdiskus 3) Kerjasama siswa pada proses pembelajaran di kelas X SMA Al Islam 1, SMA Batik 1 dan SMA N 7 Surakarta dalam pembelajaran Biologi pada materi pelajaran Ekosistem. Key Word: kualitas proses, hasil penelitian, performance

Abstract

The scientific approach is learning that adopts scientific steps in building knowledge through the scientific method. This study aims to determine the implementation of scientific biology teacher learning approaches in Boyolali in odd semester 2018/2019. The type of research used is descriptive. The sample in this study was one X grade teacher (N High School) and one XI teacher (Private High School). The sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling. The research method uses an observation method to observe the teacher during learning for 3 meetings, assisted by video documentation during learning. Based on the research conducted, the results show that the implementation of high school Biology teacher scientific approach learning in Boyolali in the odd semester of 2018/2019 is sufficient (44.75%). Scientific learning used is Discovery Learning (40.95%) including adequate and Problem Based Learning (64%) including good. However, not all Biology teachers used the research using the two learning models. Biology teachers who have used both of these models are including good (64%) and who implement one learning model including the lack of categories (33.2%). Data were analyzed descriptively and based on the results of the study and discussion it can be concluded that the implementation of high school Biology teacher scientific learning in Boyolali odd semester 2018/2019 included enough (44.75%), with the learning model Discovery Learning and Problem Based Learning

Abstract

Students’ scientific reasoning abilities are influenced by many factors. The aim of the study is to determine the relationship between elementary students’ cognitive development with their gender, age, and academic achievement in science using Scientific Reasoning Skills Test. The subject of the study (N=140) were drawn from 5th and 6thgrade students of SDN Bareng 2 Malang. There were no significant relationship between students’ cognitive developments and their age and genders, a relationship was found with academic achievement in science.

Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian ini untuk mengungkap tentang variasi kajian dalam skripsi mahasiswa program studi pendidikan biologi yang telah dilakukan tahun 2010-2013. Pengambilan data dengan menginventarisir sejumlah hasil penelitian dalam bentuk skripsi yang telah dilakukan mahasiswa pendidikan program studi pendidikan biologi, selanjutnya mengelompokkan  kajian penelitian. Hasil penelitian didapatkan sejumlah 470 topik skripsi. Berdasar pengelompokan terdapat 10 kelompok kajian penelitian yang telah dilakukan oleh mahasiswa program studi biologi. Berdasar hasil yang didapatkan perlu ditindak lanjuti dengan penelitian mendalam terkait dengan substansi penelitian.  Kata kunci: kajian penelitian, skripsi

Abstract

Skill dalam penyusunan lesson design adalah salah satu knowledge base teaching atau pedagogical content knowledge (PCK) yang harus dikuasai guru. Kemampuan ini dapat dilatihkan melalui Collaborative Action Research (CAR). Pada penelitian ini, ada tiga komponen pelaku yang melakukan kolaborasi untuk memperbaiki lesson design animalia biologi SMA, yaitu guru biologi, mahasiswa calon guru biologi, dan dosen pendidikan biologi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis desain pembelajaran yang dibuat secara kolaboratif untuk memperbaiki partisipasi siswa di kelas. Penelitian melibatkan satu orang guru Biologi dan 36 siswa sebagai subjek proses belajar mengajar yang merupakan siswa dalam satu kelas di sebuah SMA di Karanganyar, Jawa Tengah. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan dokumentasi lesson design guru, wawancara kepada guru dan siswa, observasi proses pembelajaran, dan perekaman audio dan video pembelajaran. Analisis dilakukan dengan menggunakan Science Lesson Plan Analysis Instrument (SLPAI). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan karakteristik lesson plan yang disusun guru melalui CAR dapat mengarahkan siswa untuk mempelajari sains sebagai proses memperoleh pengetahuan baru, dan meningkatkan partisipasi siswa dalam proses mengkonstruksi pengetahuannya.. Keywords:        lesson design, CAR, PCK, animalia, biologi SMA

Abstract

This research aimed to calculate the valid relationship score of concept map (CM) using instructional technique of teacher’s questions in the stages of evaluating data, driving a conclusion, presenting the project in class as preferred & discussion project-based learning. This research was a classroom action research. This research was a classroom action research with the research subject of 36 students in X MIPA of Senior High School. The research procedure was including: planning, lesson plan completed with assessment, acting, observing and reflecting. Validity test in this research was using triangulation method that consisted of verification of valid relationship CM score, documentation based on expert CM and interview to present the valuable relation between concepts. Reduction done to choose the data completion, data interpretation and conclusion based on the complete valid relationship data. Data analysis was using descriptive qualitative. The result of this research shows that valid relationship score of expert CM in pre-research, cycle I and cycle II were written as follows. 1.95%-14.98% with 13.89% of the under averaged students’ score and 11.11% of the over averaged students’ score. 3.08%-61.54% with 19.44% of the under averaged students’ score and 11.11% of the over averaged students’ score. 16.58%-32.16% with 11.11% of the under averaged students’ score and 16.67% of over averaged students’ score. Abstract

The ability of Bacillus sp. has been developed by isolation bacteria from fisheries waste to synthesis chitin deaetylase. This microorganism secretes extracellular chitin deacetylase and does not involve cell lysis. Chitin deacetylase has roles as bioconversion which converts chitin to chitosan with deacetylation N-acetylglucosamine residue in chitin. The bioconversion process of chitin into chitosan in this study is occured by Bacillus sp. B3, Bacillus sp. B5, Bacillus sp. B6, and Bacillus sp. B12 through deacetylation enzymatic which is isolated from fisheries waste. The protein component of crude enzyme was measured using Bradford methods with BSA (Bovine Serum Albumin) as standard. The enzyme was purified by ammonium sulfate precipitation. Chitin deacetylase was characterized by measuring isoelectric point, enzyme activity, and protein component. While the fungtional groups of chitosan had characterized by FTIR and measured degree of deacetylation chitosan. The highest enzyme activity was achieved by Bacillus sp. B12 through ammonium sulphate purification at 75-90% fraction is 345.21U/ml with protein content is 0.0512 mg/ml. Chitin deacetylase from fourth Bacillus sp. has an isoelectric point at pH 5. The highest degree of deacetylation chitosan is 67% and the termination of acetyl groups had confirmed by IR spectra.
