Abstract

Amid increasingly intense organizational competition, employee performance has become a crucial determinant of organizational effectiveness and sustainability. A strong organizational culture can guide employee behavior, strengthen work commitment, and create alignment between individual actions and organizational goals. In addition, altruism, as a voluntary willingness to help colleagues without expecting personal rewards, is also considered an important behavioral factor in supporting workplace productivity. This research aims to examine the influence of organizational culture and altruism on employee performance. This study employs a quantitative approach with a causal-associative design. The population in this study consists of all 140 employees of PT. XYZ, with a sample of 104 respondents selected using a proportionate stratified random sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results of the t-test showed that organizational culture had a positive and significant effect on performance (t-count = 3.038 > t-table = 1.65993). Similarly, altruism had a positive and significant effect on performance (t-count = 4.276 > t-table = 1.65993). Simultaneously, the results of the F-test showed that organizational culture and altruism had a significant effect on employee performance (F-count = 13.081 > 3.09), with a 20.6% contribution to performance variance. These results indicate that strengthening organizational cultural values and voluntary helping behaviors among employees is essential to increase overall company productivity.

Abstract

This study focuses on lithological identification in the Wasegi Indah area, Prafi District, Manokwari Regency, West Papua, using Digital Elevation Model (DEM) and Landsat 8 imagery. Geological surveys traditionally rely on costly and time-consuming fieldwork, but remote sensing technologies, especially DEM and satellite imagery, offer efficient alternatives for geological mapping. This research aimed to process and analyze DEM data alongside Landsat 8 imagery to identify lithological characteristics in the region and compile a lithological boundary map. The study utilized a combination of primary data, including Landsat 8 imagery and DEMNAS data, along with secondary data from geological maps to support geological and lithological interpretation. The results demonstrate that combining Landsat 8 composite images with DEMNAS imagery provides valuable insights into the lithological distribution, aiding in the identification of geological formations such as granite, diorite, and limestone. The findings indicate the potential of remote sensing in geological mapping, although the study also highlights the need for further image processing techniques to improve accuracy. In conclusion, while the lithological maps generated offer regional insights, more detailed mapping is necessary for specific applications like resource exploration and geological hazard management.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of autocratic leadership style and work motivation on turnover intention in shoe factory employees in Cirebon. The high rate of employee turnover is a phenomenon that needs to be studied more deeply, especially in relation to leadership practices and work motivation levels. This study used a quantitative method, involving selected production employees using the total sampling technique. Data collection was carried out through an online questionnaire measured by the Likert scale, and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results of the study showed that autocratic leadership style had a positive and significant effect on turnover intention, which means that the higher the level of autocratic leadership, the higher the employee's intention to leave. Work motivation has a negative and significant effect on turnover intention, which shows that the higher the work motivation, the lower the turnover intention. Simultaneously, autocratic leadership styles and work motivation have a significant effect on turnover intention. This study confirms that the transformation of leadership styles towards a more participatory approach and increased work motivation is an important strategy in reducing employee turnover intention in the manufacturing industry.

Abstract

High employee turnover can negatively affect organizational stability and productivity, making data-driven predictive strategies essential to identify factors influencing employees’ resignation decisions. This study aims to analyze employee data at PT. Top Remit to predict resignation probability using the Random Forest algorithm, which is known for its strong performance in handling complex and heterogeneous data. Using a machine learning approach, this research processes historical employee data that include demographic factors, job satisfaction, compensation, and performance indicators. The dataset consists of labeled employee records based on their employment status. The Random Forest model was applied to identify patterns contributing to employee turnover and is evaluated using performance metrics such as accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score. The results indicate that the optimized Random Forest model, after hyperparameter tuning using Grid Search, achieves a test accuracy of 82.5%, with a resignation-class precision of 1.00 and a recall value of 0.6316. Furthermore, feature importance analysis reveals that the most influential factors affecting resignation decisions are annual performance scores, average review scores, compensation satisfaction, job satisfaction, and work engagement. Based on these findings, the predictive model can be utilized as a decision-support tool to design more targeted and data-driven employee retention strategies. This study is expected to contribute to the development of predictive analytics in human resource management, particularly in the application of machine learning methods to support workforce management and sustainability.

Abstract

In the context of the agro-industrial sector, particularly in sugar manufacturing, employee work productivity is a critical determinant of business performance. PT PG Rajawali II Jatitujuh Unit, as one of the largest sugar industries in Indonesia, faces unique challenges related to high physical labor demands, shift work systems, and intense production target pressures, especially during the sugarcane milling season. These conditions often lead to an increased workload and potential disruption of work-life balance, which can directly affect employee productivity. However, empirical evidence examining the simultaneous influence of workload and work-life balance on productivity in this specific context remains limited. This research is aimed at examining in depth the relationship between workload and work-life balance in influencing employee work productivity at PT PG Rajawali II Jatitujuh Unit. The research uses structured survey-based data collection techniques with an associative quantitative approach to address this issue. The study involved 199 workers, with the Slovin method used to determine the number of respondents completing the survey, resulting in a research sample of 133 people. Data analysis was conducted using SmartPLS software 4. Empirical findings reveal that workload contributes positively and significantly to employee work productivity, as reflected in the original sample value of 0.565 and the significance level with a p-value of 0.000, which is below the threshold of 0.05. Furthermore, work-life balance showed a significant positive influence on employee work productivity, evidenced by the original sample of 0.399 with a p-value of 0.000, which is also below 0.05. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that both independent variables simultaneously increase employee productivity.

Abstract

The Indonesian retail sector faces profitability pressures from sales–profit margin imbalances, weak purchasing power, and working capital inefficiencies, yet empirical evidence on their simultaneous effects in the post-pandemic period remains scarce. This research analyzes the effect of inventory management efficiency, receivables management, and asset turnover on the profitability of retail companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2020–2024 period. Profitability is proxied by Return on Assets (ROA), while the independent variables used are Inventory Turnover (ITO), Receivable Turnover (RTO), and Total Asset Turnover (TATO). The study employed an associative quantitative approach with secondary data from annual financial statements of 7 retail companies (35 observations), analyzed using multiple linear regression assisted by IBM SPSS. The results showed that ITO had a negative and insignificant effect on ROA (sig. 0.193), RTO had a positive and significant effect on ROA (sig. 0.001), while TATO had a positive but insignificant effect (sig. 0.962). Simultaneously, the three variables had a significant effect on ROA (sig. 0.006) with a determination coefficient value (R²) of 0.325, meaning that 32.5% of the variation in profitability can be explained by the model. This indicates that the effectiveness of receivables management is the dominant factor in increasing the profitability of retail companies
