Abstract

This study examines political conflict in Indonesia’s digital era through the controversy surrounding President Joko Widodo’s alleged fake diploma and the emergence of the “Jokowi Haters” group. The rapid growth of social media has transformed political communication, enabling the spread of polarization, delegitimization, and identity-based conflict in online public spaces. Therefore, this research aims to analyze the development of political conflict in the digital sphere, explain the function of the fake diploma issue as a delegitimization strategy, and identify the role of social media in intensifying political polarization. This study employed a qualitative approach using a case study method. Data were collected through analysis of online news reports, social media content, legal documents, official clarifications, and relevant literature. The analysis applied social conflict theory, media framing theory, spiral of silence theory, and echo chamber theory to interpret the phenomenon comprehensively. The findings reveal that the fake diploma issue functions not merely as a legal controversy but as a political instrument used to undermine presidential legitimacy and public trust. Social media algorithms strengthen echo chambers by continuously exposing users to reinforcing narratives, while negative sentiment dominates digital discourse. In conclusion, digital political conflict in Indonesia increasingly relies on personal narratives and symbolic attacks, which threaten democratic stability, institutional trust, and constructive public debate.

Abstract

Fatherlessness, defined as the absence of a father due to death, divorce, or psychological non-involvement, has increasing relevance in Indonesia. The study aims to systematically review literature to identify and categorize the psychological impacts of fatherlessness on women, examining differences based on the form of fatherlessness experienced. A systematic literature review was conducted using SCOPUS and Publish or Perish 8.1, following PCC (Population, Concept, Context) scoping questions. Inclusion criteria: qualitative studies (2020–2025) on women, published in English or Indonesian, focusing on psychological impacts of fatherlessness. From 212 journals, 14 met all criteria (see PRISMA chart, page 3). Five major psychological impact categories were identified: (1) interpersonal and sexual relationship problems, (2) low self-concept and identity issues, (3) negative emotions and mental health disorders, (4) social withdrawal and difficulty expressing oneself, and (5) cognitive and performance issues (pages 4–7). Variations in impact were noted depending on fatherlessness type: divorce, death, psychological absence, and domestic violence, with domestic violence yielding the most severe outcomes. Fatherlessness significantly affects women across multiple psychological dimensions. The impact varies by type of fatherlessness, influencing the intensity and complexity of emotional, social, and cognitive challenges.

Abstract

The development of digital marketing encourages the increasing use of influencers as a promotional strategy, especially for local products marketed through online marketplaces. However, the effectiveness of influencer marketing is largely determined by the level of authenticity of influencers in building consumer trust. This study aims to analyze the influence of influencer authenticity on purchase intention with trust transfer as a mediating variable in consumers of Ventela shoe products in the Cirebon City marketplace. The study used a quantitative approach with a survey method of 200 respondents who had an interest and experience of being exposed to Ventela's promotion by influencers. Data were collected through an online questionnaire and analyzed using the Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method. The results of the study show that influencer authenticity has a positive and significant effect on purchase intention. In addition, influencer authenticity also has a significant effect on trust transfer, and trust transfer has a significant effect on purchase intention. The results of the mediation test showed that trust transfer partially mediated the relationship between influencer authenticity and purchase intention. These findings indicate that influencer authenticity not only influences purchase intent directly, but also through the mechanism of transferring trust from influencers to brands. This research provides theoretical and practical contributions in the development of trust-based influencer marketing strategies to increase the competitiveness of local products in the digital marketplace.

Abstract

Background: Global economic uncertainty, particularly following the COVID-19 pandemic, has intensified pressure on corporate financial resilience. The fast food industry in Indonesia, represented by PT Fast Food Indonesia Tbk (FAST), has faced significant challenges marked by declining profitability and increasing leverage. A comprehensive assessment of financial sustainability requires an integrated approach beyond single financial indicators. Objective: This research aims to analyse the financial sustainability of PT Fast Food Indonesia Tbk during the period 2020–2024 by integrating aspects of profitability, solvency, and operating cash flow into the Financial Sustainability Index (FSI). Method: This research uses a quantitative, descriptive approach based on time-series analysis of annual financial report data published by the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The analysis was conducted by calculating financial ratios, normalising them using the Min–Max technique, and weighting them by theoretical relevance to produce the Financial Sustainability Index. Result: The results of the analysis show that the financial sustainability of companies was relatively stable in the early post-pandemic recovery period but declined significantly at the end of the study period, reflecting an increase in corporate financial risk. Conclusion: These findings have practical implications for management in evaluating funding structures and improving operational efficiency to strengthen corporate financial sustainability.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Green Credit, operational efficiency as measured by the BOPO ratio, and Green Finance Policy on the profitability of conventional banking in Indonesia for the period 2020–2024. The study used a quantitative approach with secondary data in the form of annual reports and sustainability reports of banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sample was selected through the purposive sampling technique and produced 9 banks with a total of 45 observations. The analysis was carried out using panel data regression accompanied by model selection tests, classical assumption tests, and partial and simultaneous hypothesis tests. The results of the study show that partially Green Credit and Green Finance Policy do not have a significant effect on profitability (ROA), although both have a positive relationship direction. On the other hand, operational efficiency (BOPO) has a negative and significant effect on profitability, which confirms that controlling operating costs is the main factor determining the bank's profit performance. Simultaneously, the three independent variables had a significant effect on ROA with an Adjusted R² value of 0.853555, indicating that the model was able to explain 85.36% of the variation in profitability. These findings indicate that the implementation of sustainable finance has not had a direct impact on short-term profits, but has the potential to provide long-term benefits when accompanied by good operational efficiency.

Abstract

The development of the retail industry in Cirebon City, which is becoming increasingly competitive, requires companies to improve employee performance. However, there are still issues in the field related to productivity, discipline, and unstable work motivation, making performance management an important concern. This study aims to analyze the influence of work discipline (X1), competence (X2), and job satisfaction (X3) on the performance of retail employees (Y) in Cirebon City. The method used was a quantitative associative approach, with data collected through a Likert scale questionnaire. The population consists of around 120 retail employees, and the sample was set to 100 respondents (simple random sampling). The analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression (SPSS 31). The results showed that work discipline (B=0.507; t=4.972; Sig.<0.001), competence (B=0.410; t=3.418; Sig.<0.001), and job satisfaction (B=0.281; t=3.836; Sig.<0.001) had a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Simultaneously, the three variables had a significant effect (F=85.046; Sig.<0.001) with an Adjusted R Square of 0.718, meaning that 71.8% of the variation in performance could be explained by the model. In conclusion, the improvement of retail employee performance in Cirebon City can be optimized through strengthening work discipline, developing competencies, and increasing job satisfaction in an integrated manner.

Abstract

The existence of illegal cosmetics circulating in the market and has the potential to reduce consumer confidence in the cosmetics industry in Indonesia. Therefore, this study aims to measure the extent to which Brand Communication and Brand Credibility affect Brand Trust which is influenced by Consumer Perception as an intervening variable for Pink Flash cosmetic products. This study used a quantitative approach with SEM-PLS analysis techniques. Data was collected from 196 respondents aged 18-25 years in the Ciayumajakuning area. This study tested all hypotheses and obtained positive and significant results. This shows that Brand Trust based on Consumer Perception, both directly and indirectly, occurs due to the positive and significant influence of Brand Communication and Brand Credibility. Brand Credibility is the variable that has the most impact on consumer perception and trust with a value (O=0.700). Thus, the synergy between clear communication and solid trust is an important step to maintain trust in security-sensitive situations.
