Abstract

The study aimed to determine the perception of engagement of young lecturers belongs to the millennial generation (born 1986-2000) at the managerial level in Business School PHU. They are based on the millennial lecturer's experience while being managerial and what is felt in employee engagement. Likewise, with Business School PHU, which is engaged to the institution, will help Business School PHU gained higher performance. The lecturer is an essential thing in the learning process. At the same time, Business School PHU has the majority of millennials lecturers. Business School PHU hopes that employees of the millennial generation can survive, have long-term commitments. Business School PHU should be able to make them feel at home and feel comfortable working. There is a fair adaptation process in terms of Human Resource Management across different generations.Data collection through triangulation and (literature study, in-depth interviews, observation). Informants consist of two categories: (1) three millennial managers who have worked more than two years at Business School PHU and has Academic Position, minimal Expert Assistant; (2) their direct supervisors of the first category.  Processing data by making interview summaries to formulate patterns, categories, and variables then formulated in propositions for the proposed model. Research contributions are expected to provide input to the management of human resources in the private University context to build young lecturer level managerial engagement at the millennial generation's age

Abstract

In a spurious regression conditions occur linear regression equations that are not stationary on the mean and variance. If the variables are not stationary, there will be cointegration, so it can be concluded that there is a long-term equilibrium relationship between the two research variables and in the short term there is a possibility of an imbalance, so to overcome it in this study using the Error Correction Model. The purpose of this study is to apply a cointegration test to see whether there is a long-term non-equilibrium relationship between the time series between the Human Development Index and life expectancy at birth, average school year for adults aged 25 years and over and gross national income per capita. The data used in this study are time series data between 1990-2017. The statistical management is carried out using Eviews 10. Based on the results obtained, it was concluded that 81.7% and it can be said that the types of independent variables included in the model are already good, because only 18.3% of the diversity of the dependent variable is influenced by the independent variables outside this research model. Keywords: spurious regression, stationary, cointegration, error correction model, equilibrium

Abstract

ABSTRACT The study looked at how to apply Teacher Readiness, Infrastructure, andStudent Learning Motivation to the application of the 2013 Curriculum (Kurtilas)and the continued application of the 2013 Curriculum at the Canaan ChristianMiddle School in Tangerang as a case study. The research method used isquantitative research. Population of 8th and 9th grade students of CanaanChristian Middle School Tangerang. Payment sample of 60 students. Datacollection is done by following a questionnaire conducted directly by therespondent. Furthermore, it was analyzed using the IBM SPSS Statistics 20.Program. The results showed that there were benefits from Teacher Readiness,Infrastructure, and Student Motivation in Canaan Christian Middle School inTangerang, both partially and jointly on the Successful Implementation of the2013 Curriculum. 2013 can be achieved by the readiness of teachers in terms ofprofessional, pedagogical, personality, and social competence; Schools thathave good and decent infrastructure or can be given proper ones; and studentshave good and high learning motivation. Matters that need attention from allstakeholders of Education, and further research on this must be added toeducation in Indonesia in general. Keywords: Curriculum 2013, Infrastructure, Student Learning Motivation, andTeacher Readiness ABSTRAK Penelitian melihat bagaimana efektivitas Kesiapan Guru, Infrastruktur, danMotivasi Belajar Siswa terhadap penerapan Kurikulum 2013 (kurtilas) dankeberlangsungan penerapan Kurikulum 2013 di SMP Kristen Kanaan Tangerangsebagai studi kasus. Metode penelitian yang dipakai adalah penelitian kuantitatif.Populasi meliputi siswa kelas 8 dan 9 SMP Kristen Kanaan Tangerang. Sampelberjumlah 60 orang siswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menyebarkankuesioner secara langsung kepada sampel responden selanjutnya dianalisismenggunakan Program IBM SPSS Statistics 20. Hasil penelitian menunjukkanada efektivitas dari Kesiapan Guru, Infrastruktur, dan Motivasi Balajar Siswa diSMP Kristen Kanaan Tangerang, baik secara parsial maupun secara bersamasamaterhadap Keberhasilan Penerapan Kurikulum 2013. Kesimpulan yangdidapat terhadap Keberhasilan Penerapan Kurikulum 2013 setidaknya dapatdicapai dengan adanya kesiapan guru-guru dalam hal kompetensi profesional,pedagogik, kepribadian, dan hubungan sosial; Sekolah seharusnya memilikiinfrastruktur yang baik dan memadai atau boleh dikatakan layak; serta siswasendiri memiliki motivasi belajar yang baik dan tinggi. Hal-hal ini perlu mendapatperhatian dari seluruh stakeholder Pendidikan, dan setidaknya penelitian inimenjadi masukan untuk kemajuan pendidikan di Indonesia pada umumnya. Abstract

The purpose of implementing Community Service (PKM) WUTR Employee Leadership Management Training is (1) Provide training to participants on the importance of leadership and characteristics of good leader. (2) Provide debriefing to participants building the relationship between superiors and subordinates to achieve good performance. The method of training implementing is through providing explanations in plenary and discussing real cases. Methods of presenting training through lectures, interactive discussions. There are 67 trainees including lower level managerial and middle level manajerial. Based on the results of the activity, that all participants were very enthusiastic in participating in activities and most of the participants stated that they understood better how to direct their subordinates to better performance after training in PKM activities.

Abstract

CAREER WEBINAR: CHOOSE THE RIGHT STUDY PROGRAM FOR TODAY’S JOB TRENDS. The Webinar this time is an activity of the Community Service Team from UPH Business School to Harapan Utama High School, Batam. Based on the results of discussions regarding training needs with related parties, this PKM was carried out with the aim of providing training on choosing majors in higher education for students. With the implementation of this PKM, it is hoped that it can encourage and contribute to the development of knowledge and understanding for students regarding how to choose majors and contemporary work trends that suit their interests and talents and how to prepare themselves to include planning and how to study properly to succeed in the future.

Abstract

Kemajuan dalam bidang Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi menyebabkan peningkatan persaingan antar industri dan organisasi. Perkembangan teknologi ini dapat memudahkan seseorang untuk dapat mengakses dan mempelajari ilmu pengetahuan dengan lebih cepat di manapun dan kapanpun, termasuk dalam bekerja. Dunia saat ini sedang dilanda virus Covid-19 yang ditetapkannya sebagai pandemi oleh World Health Organization (WHO, 2020). Pada awal 2020 Corona Virus Diseases-19 (Covid-19) menyebar dan menjadi permasalahan bagi seluruh negara di dunia yang berdampak pada perekonomian, kesehatan, dan cara karyawan bekerja serta Kepuasan Kerja karyawan di suatu negara. Tujuan penelitian dimaksudkan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Kepemimpinan Transformasional dan Kompensasi terhadap Kepuasan Kerja melalui Komitmen Organisasi karyawan yang Bekerja Dari Rumah (BDR)/work from home (WFH) di masa pandemic Covid-19.Pada penelitian ini berjumlah 96 responden dan analisis datanya menggunakan PLS-SEM. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kepemimpinan Transformasional memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kepuasan Kerja; Kompensasi tidak berpengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap Kepuasan Kerja; Kepemimpinan Transformasional memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Komitmen Organisasi; Kompensasi memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Komitmen Organisasi; Komitmen Organisasi memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kepuasan Kerja; Kepemimpinan Transformasional tidak berpengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap Kepuasan Kerja melalui Komitmen Organisasi; Kompensasi tidak berpengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap Kepuasan Kerja melalui Komitmen Organisasi.

Abstract

Institusi seperti perguruan tinggi Kristen memiliki standar dan value institusi dan sosialisasi tersendiri sesuai dengan ajaran dari agama Kristen. Teori sekular yang memiliki value untuk perguruan tinggi Kristen adalah model kepemimpinan yang diadopsi, terutama adalah model kepemimpinan transformasional dan servant leader atau kepemimpinan yang melayani. Cara servant leadership untuk pengikutnya dapat mengikutinya adalah dengan mempromosikan kecerdasan, pengetahuan, dan pembelajaran karyawan atau organization learning sehingga karyawan dapat menjadi inovatif dalam pendekatan mereka terhadap pemecahan masalah dan solusi, sehingga kinerja karyawan meningkat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh adopsi servant leadership terhadap job performance melalui organization learning. Penelitian dilakukan di salah satu perguruan tinggi berbasis iman Kristen yang ada di Indonesia, kuesioner disebarkan dengan menggunakan metode snowball sampling menggunakan microsoft form, melalui whatsapp, e-mail, dan ms teams.

Abstract

Organizational commitment affects how an employee chooses to remain a member of an organization or leave to find another company or to change place of work. As an effort to determine whether there is an influence of Empowerment, Teamwork, and Training variables on the Organizational Commitment of Administrative Employees at Private Universities in the Tangerang Region, this research was conducted. The quantitative approach was chosen as the research paradigm and the sampling technique used was purposive sampling, which was sampling based on the criteria of permanent administrative employees of Tangerang area private universities. Data collection uses Google Forms which was distributed online with a sample of 126 respondents who are permanent administrative employees at private universities in the Tangerang area. This study uses a Likert scale with 5 choices, starting from the option Strongly Disagree to Strongly Agree and the data analysis uses SEM PLS with SMART-PLS software. The result of this study is that Administrative Employee Empowerment has a positive effect on Organizational Commitment, Administrative Teamwork has a positive effect on Organizational Commitment, and Administrative Employee Training has a positive effect on Organizational Commitment. With this research, at least it can provide insight to Private Universities, especially in the Tangerang Area, especially in developing the Organizational Commitment of the Administrative Section employees at Private Universities through increasing Employee Empowerment, Teamwork, and Employee Training.BAHASA INDONESIA ABSTRACTKomitmen Organisasi memengaruhi bagaimana seorang karyawan tetap memilih menjadi anggota organisasi atau keluar untuk mencari perusahaan lain atau berpindah tempat kerja. Upaya untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh variabel Pemberdayaan, Kerja Sama Tim, dan Pelatihan terhadap Komitmen Organisasi Karyawan Tata Usaha di Perguruan Tinggi Swasta Wilayah Tangerang, maka penelitian ini dilakukan. Pendekatan kuantitatif dipilih sebagai paradigma penelitiannya dan teknik sampel yang digunakan yaitu purposive sampling, yang merupakan pengambilan sampel berdasarkan kriteria karyawan tata usaha tetap perguruan tinggi swasta wilayah Tangerang. Pengumpulan data menggunakan Google Form yang disebar secara online dengan jumlah sampel 126 orang responden yang merupakan karyawan tetap tata usaha di perguruan tinggi swasta wilayah Tangerang. Penelitian ini menggunakan skala Likert dengan 5 buah pilihan, dimulai dari pilihan Sangat Tidak Setuju hingga Sangat Setuju dan analisis datanya menggunakan SEM PLS dengan perangkat lunak SMART-PLS. Penelitian ini memperoleh hasil bahwa Pemberdayaan Karyawan Tata Usaha berpengaruh positif terhadap Komitmen Organisasi, Kerja Sama Tim Tata Usaha berpengaruh positif terhadap Komitmen Organisasi, dan Pelatihan Karyawan Tata Usaha berpengaruh positif terhadap Komitmen Organisasi. Dengan adanya penelitian ini, setidaknya dapat memberikan wawasan kepada perguruan tinggi swasta, khususnya di wilayah Tangerang terutama dalam mengembangkan Komitmen Organisasi karyawan bagian tata usaha di perguruan tinggi swasta melalui peningkatan Pemberdayaan Karyawan, Kerja Sama Tim, dan Pelatihan Karyawannya.

Abstract

The basis for this research is about the dynamics of job satisfaction of F&B employees in Surabaya during the Covid-19 pandemic, which is known through a preliminary survey that there are problems with employee job satisfaction for each aspect above 50%. The purpose of this study was to obtain empirical evidence of the effect of empowerment, teamwork, and training on job satisfaction both simultaneously and partially by using a cross sectional study design and making 100 F&B employees in Surabaya as respondents, a survey using Google Forms with a Likert scale and for data analysis carried out multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS 21 software. The results of the study prove that simultaneously Empowerment, Teamwork, and Training have a positive effect on Job Satisfaction, while partially Empowerment has a negative effect on Job Satisfaction, Teamwork has a positive effect on Job Satisfaction and Training has a positive effect on Job Satisfaction. The importance of implementing Empowerment, Teamwork and Training will create an increase in employee Job Satisfaction during the Covid-19 Pandemic if it is carried out in harmony with employee expectations during the Covid-19 Pandemic.Bahasa Indonesia Abstrak: Dasar dilakukan penelitian ini adalah tentang dinamika kepuasan kerja karyawan F&B di Surabaya pada masa pandemi Covid-19, yang diketahui melalui survey pendahulan bahwa terjadi permasalahan Kepuasan Kerja karyawan atas masing-masing aspek di atas 50%. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh bukti empiris efek Pemberdayaan, Kerja Tim dan Pelatihan terhadap Kepuasan Kerja baik secara simultan maupun parsial dengan menggunakan desain cross sectional study dan menjadikan 100 karyawan F&B di Surabaya sebagai responden, survey menggunakan Google Forms dengan skala Likert dan untuk analisis data dilakukan analisis regresi linier berganda dengan menggunakan software SPSS 21. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa secara bersamaan Pemberdayaan, Kerja Tim, dan Pelatihan berpengaruh positif terhadap kepuasan kerja, sedangkan secara parsial Pemberdayaan berpengaruh negatif terhadap Kepuasan Kerja, Kerja Tim berpengaruh positif terhadap Kepuasan Kerja dan Pelatihan berpengaruh positif terhadap Kepuasan Kerja. Pentingnya implementasi Pemberdayaan, Kerja Tim dan Pelatihan akan menciptakan peningkatan Kepuasan Kerja karyawan di masa pandemi Covid-19 jika dilakukan dengan selaras sesuai dengan harapan karyawan di masa pandemi Covid-19.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether transformational leadership, exchange norm, and communal norm have a positive relationship with employee voice. This study was shown to private employees of the banking industry with 133 respondents consisting of 98% male respondents and 2% female respondents. The instrument used for data collection is a questionnaire, which consists of 13 indicators. Testing of the questionnaire was carried out by means of a validity test which resulted in sig < α (0.000 < 0.05) and a reliability test which resulted in Cronbach's Alpha > 0.7. Furthermore, the tool used in analyzing the data is IBM SPSS 25. The results of this study reveal that transformational leadership has a positive relationship with exchange norm, transformational leadership has a positive relationship with communal norm, transformational leadership has a positive relationship with employee voice, norm exchange has a positive relationship with employee voice, and communal norm have a positive relationship with employee voice.
