Abstract

The basis for this research is about the dynamics of job satisfaction of F&B employees in Surabaya during the Covid-19 pandemic, which is known through a preliminary survey that there are problems with employee job satisfaction for each aspect above 50%. The purpose of this study was to obtain empirical evidence of the effect of empowerment, teamwork, and training on job satisfaction both simultaneously and partially by using a cross sectional study design and making 100 F&B employees in Surabaya as respondents, a survey using Google Forms with a Likert scale and for data analysis carried out multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS 21 software. The results of the study prove that simultaneously Empowerment, Teamwork, and Training have a positive effect on Job Satisfaction, while partially Empowerment has a negative effect on Job Satisfaction, Teamwork has a positive effect on Job Satisfaction and Training has a positive effect on Job Satisfaction. The importance of implementing Empowerment, Teamwork and Training will create an increase in employee Job Satisfaction during the Covid-19 Pandemic if it is carried out in harmony with employee expectations during the Covid-19 Pandemic.Bahasa Indonesia Abstrak: Dasar dilakukan penelitian ini adalah tentang dinamika kepuasan kerja karyawan F&B di Surabaya pada masa pandemi Covid-19, yang diketahui melalui survey pendahulan bahwa terjadi permasalahan Kepuasan Kerja karyawan atas masing-masing aspek di atas 50%. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh bukti empiris efek Pemberdayaan, Kerja Tim dan Pelatihan terhadap Kepuasan Kerja baik secara simultan maupun parsial dengan menggunakan desain cross sectional study dan menjadikan 100 karyawan F&B di Surabaya sebagai responden, survey menggunakan Google Forms dengan skala Likert dan untuk analisis data dilakukan analisis regresi linier berganda dengan menggunakan software SPSS 21. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa secara bersamaan Pemberdayaan, Kerja Tim, dan Pelatihan berpengaruh positif terhadap kepuasan kerja, sedangkan secara parsial Pemberdayaan berpengaruh negatif terhadap Kepuasan Kerja, Kerja Tim berpengaruh positif terhadap Kepuasan Kerja dan Pelatihan berpengaruh positif terhadap Kepuasan Kerja. Pentingnya implementasi Pemberdayaan, Kerja Tim dan Pelatihan akan menciptakan peningkatan Kepuasan Kerja karyawan di masa pandemi Covid-19 jika dilakukan dengan selaras sesuai dengan harapan karyawan di masa pandemi Covid-19.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of Work Life Balance, Self-Efficacy and Organizational Commitment on Burnout in working students. The research approach used in this research is quantitative research. The method used is a survey method by distributing questionnaires to Parallel Students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Esa Unggul University, Kebon Jeruk. The questionnaires collected were 119 respondents, the data was then processed by the multiple linear regression method. The results of data analysis carried out with the help of SPSS 26 software for Windows. From the results of the study, the Work Life Balance variable has a significance value of 0.000 <0.05 with an Unstandardized Beta value of 0.582 which means that Work Life Balance has a positive influence on Burnout in working students. The Self-Efficacy variable (X2) has a significance value of 0.009 <0.05 with an Unstandardized Beta value of -0.257, meaning that the Self-Efficacy variable has a negative effect on Burnout in working students. The Organizational Commitment variable (X3) has a significance value of 0.878 with an Unstandardized Beta value of -0.017, meaning that the Organizational Commitment variable has a negative effect on Burnout. From the F test table, the F test value is 22.831 with a significant value of 0.000 <0.05. These results mean that there is a simultaneous influence of the three variables Work Life Balance, Self-Efficacy, and Organizational Commitment on Burnout in working students.Bahasa Indonesia Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh Work Life Balance, Self-Efficacy dan Komitmen Organisasional terhadap Burnout pada mahasiswa yang bekerja. Pendekatan riset yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Metode yang digunakan metode survey dengan cara menyebarkan kuesioner kepada Mahasiswa Paralel Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Esa Unggul, Kebon Jeruk. Kuesioner yang terkumpul sebanyak 119 responden, data tersebut kemudian diolah dengan metode regresi linear berganda. Hasil analisis data yang dilakukan dengan bantuan software SPSS 26 for Windows. Dari hasil penelitian, variabel Work Life Balance memiliki nilai signifikasi 0,000 < 0,05 dengan nilai Unstandardized Beta sebesar 0,582 yang dapat diartikan Work Life Balance memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap Burnout pada mahasiswa yang bekerja. Pada variabel Self-Efficacy (X2) memiliki nilai signifikasi 0,009 < 0,05 dengan nilai Unstandardized Beta sebesar -0,257, artinya variabel Self-Efficacy berpengaruh negatif terhadap Burnout pada mahasiswa yang bekerja. Pada variabel Komitmen Organisasional (X3) memiliki nilai signifikasi 0,878 dengan nilai Unstandardized Beta sebesar -0,017, artinya variabel Komitmen Organisasional berpengaruh negatif terhadap Burnout. Dari tabel Uji F didapat nilai uji F sebesar 22.831 dengan nilai signifikan 0.000 < 0.05. Hasil tersebut mengartikan bahwa terdapat pengaruh secara simultan ketiga variabel Work Life Balance, Self-Efficacy, dan Komitmen Organisasional terhadap Burnout pada mahasiswa yang bekerja.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of reward and punishment on work motivation and organizational commitment of employees at PT XYZ company. This study uses quantitative methods and non-probability sampling techniques, where samples taken using purposive sampling totalling 130 employees. Data was collected using a questionnaire with a Likert scale which was then analyzed using the Partial Least Squares - Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) technique on SmartPLS 3.0 software. The results of the study prove that organizational commitment has no effect on employee motivation and performance, while employee empowerment and reward and punishment have a positive influence on employee motivation and performance. The importance of implementing employee empowerment and reward and punishment will create a high level of motivation and performance for employees if it is carried out according to employee expectations.Bahasa Indonesia Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh reward dan punishment terhadap motivasi kerja dan komitmen organisasi karyawan pada perusahaan PT XYZ. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan teknik non-probability sampling, di mana sampel yang diambil menggunakan purposive sampling yang berjumlah 130 karyawan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner dengan skala Likert yang kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik Partial Least Squares - Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) pada software SmartPLS 3.0. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa komitmen organisasi tidak berpengaruh terhadap motivasi dan kinerja karyawan, sedangkan employee empowerment serta reward dan punishment memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap motivasi dan kinerja karyawan. Pentingnya implementasi employee empowerment dan reward dan punishment akan menciptakan tingkat motivasi dan kinerja yang tinggi terhadap karyawan jika dilakukan sesuai harapan karyawan.

Abstract

Indonesia has the least number of entrepreneurs of only 3,10% of the population in 2020, compared to other countries, which have above 4% on average. The goal of this study is to identify the factors that influence the development of a sustainable entrepreneurial mindset in college students at a private university in Indonesia with the entrepreneurial climate at the university as the moderating variable. The study adopted a quantitative type of research with purposive sampling. The data was collected using an online survey distributed to management students at the private university. The total number of respondents recruited is 175 college students. SMART PLS 3 was used as a tool for data processing for validity, reliability, and hypothesis testing. The study revealed an interesting result: entrepreneurship curriculum and supply teaching model have a positive effect on the entrepreneurial mindset. Bahasa Indonesia Abstrak: Indonesia sebagai negara dengan jumlah populasi 271,35 juta di tahun 2020 hanya memiliki pengusaha 3,10% dari populasi, jauh lebih rendah dibandingkan negara tetangga lain yang rata-rata memiliki lebih dari 4% pengusaha dibandingkan populasinya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi faktor yang memengaruhi pembentukan pola pikir kewirausahaan pada mahasiswa di sebuah universitas swasta di Indonesia, dengan kondisi kewirausahaan sebagai variabel moderasi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan survei secara online yang didistribusikan kepada mahasiswa program manajemen di universitas swasta tempat penelitian dilakukan. Jumlah responden yang terjaring adalah 175 mahasiswa. Data diproses dengan menggunakan SMART PLS 3 untuk melakukan tes validitas, reliabilitas dan hipotesis. Penelitian menemukan bahwa kurikulum kewirausahaan dan model pembelajaran ”˜supply’ memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap pembentukan pola pikir kewirausahaan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of leadership and entrepreneurial knowledge on the business performance of MSMEs in the trade sector in East Belitung. This research is a quantitative research with cross sectional research time. The data collection method used in this study was a questionnaire distributed to 60 MSMEs in the trading industry in East Belitung. The data processing method used in this study is partial least squares using SMARTPLS software. The results of the study show that leadership and entrepreneurial knowledge have a significant positive effect on the business performance of trading SMEs in East Belitung. Future research can use more independent variables that can affect business performance or business performance such as financial literacy, locus of control, and innovation.Bahasa Indonesia Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepemimpinan dan pengetahuan kewirausahaan terhadap business performance UMKM di sektor perdagangan di Belitung Timur. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan waktu penelitian cross sectional. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada 60 UMKM di industri perdagangan di Belitung Timur. Metode pengolahan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah partial least square dengan menggunakan software SMARTPLS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan dan pengetahuan kewirausahaan berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap business performance UMKM Perdagangan di Belitung Timur. Penelitian selanjutnya dapat menggunakan lebih banyak variabel inpenden lain yang bisa berpengaruh terhadap kinerja bisnis atau business performance seperti literasi keuangan, locus of control, dan inovasi.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the role of Transformational Leadership and Job Satisfaction on Intention to Stay with Job Engagement as Mediation for PT XYZ Employees. The high sense of intention to stay for PT XYZ employees to carry out their responsibilities as employees is influenced by the transformational leadership style, job satisfaction and job engagement. The research was carried out using quantitative research methods, with a judgment sampling technique in which respondents had to meet predetermined requirements as research respondents. Respondents in this study amounted to 130 respondents. The data collection technique uses a research instrument in the form of a questionnaire with a Likert scale of 1-5. The data obtained was then analyzed and processed using the Structural Equation Model (SEM) technique with SmartPLS 4.0 Software. Based on the research conducted, it can be concluded that transformational leadership has a positive effect on job engagement, job satisfaction has a positive effect on job engagement, transformational leadership has a positive effect on intention to stay mediated by job engagement, and job satisfaction has a positive effect on intention to stay mediated by job engagement. This research has benefits for companies in being able to maintain and improve transformational leadership, job satisfaction, and job engagement in order to increase employees' intention to stay, as well as become a reference for further research.Bahasa Indonesia Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui peran transformational leadership dan job satisfaction terhadap intention to stay dengan job engagement sebagai mediasi pada Karyawan PT XYZ. Tingginya rasa intention to stay pada karyawan PT XYZ untuk tetap melakukan tanggung jawabnya sebagai karyawan dipengaruhi oleh gaya kepemimpinan transformational leadership, job satisfaction dan job engagement. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode penelitian kuantitatif, dengan teknik judgment sampling di mana responden harus memenuhi syarat yang telah ditentukan sebagai responden penelitian. Responden dalam penelitian ini berjumlah  130 responden. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner dengan skala Likert 1-5. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis dan dilakukan pengolahan menggunakan teknik Structural Equation Model (SEM)  dengan Software SmartPLS 4.0 Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa transformational leadership berpengaruh positif terhadap job engagement, job satisfaction berpengaruh positif terhadap job engagement, transformational leadership berpengaruh positif terhadap intention to stay yang dimediasi oleh job engagement, dan job satisfaction berpengaruh positif terhadap intention to stay yang dimediasi oleh job engagement. Penelitian ini memiliki manfaat bagi perusahaan untuk dapat mempertahankan dan meningkatkan gaya kepemimpinan transformational leadership, job satisfaction, dan job engagement guna meningkatkan rasa intention to stay pada karyawan, serta menjadi referensi untuk penelitian selanjutnya.

Abstract

Based on interviews with the Operational Director, Human Capital and Legal Director and Finance and Accounting Director, confirmation of several issues related to organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) was obtained. In conditions of limited manpower planning, everyone is required to work more than usual, whether it's within the scope of his own work, or also work in other units. Incomplete involvement and participation of all employees, especially for programs carried out by different departments. This causes the programs or policies implemented are not optimal. There is still a lack of employee involvement and participation, especially programs related to different divisions. This study uses multiple linear regression. Involvement of organizational commitment, organizational justice and trust as factors that influence the OCB. The results show that the three factors above play an important role in realizing OCB which will have positive benefits for achieving the company's vision and mission.  Bahasa Indonesia Abstrak: Berdasarkan wawancara dengan Operational Director, Human Capital and Legal Director dan Finance and Accounting Director, didapatkan konfirmasi beberapa issue yang berkaitan dengan organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) ini. Dalam kondisi manpower planning yang terbatas, setiap orang diperlukan untuk bekerja lebih dari biasanya, apakah itu di dalam cakupan pekerjaan dia sendiri, atau juga pekerjaan di unit lain. Keterlibatan dan partisipasi seluruh karyawan yang tidak sepenuhnya, terutama untuk program yang dilakukan oleh departemen berbeda. Hal ini menyebabkan program atau kebijakan yang dilakukan tidak maksimal. Keterlibatan dan partisipasi karyawan masih kurang, terutama program yang berkenaan dengan divisi yang berbeda. Penelitian ini menggunakan multiple linear regression, dengan rumus Slovin. Keterlibatan komitmen organisasi, keadilan organisasi dan trust sebagai faktor yang memengaruhi OCB tersebut. Hasilnya terlihat bahwa ketiga faktor di atas memegang peranan penting dalam terwujudnya OCB yang akan bermanfaat positif bagi tercapainya visi dan misi perusahaan.

Abstract

Employee performance is an important aspect for the company as an effort in achieving the company's targets and goals through empowering its employees. Performance can be formed from several factors, such as discipline, motivation, and performance job satisfaction. This study aims to determine the effect of discipline work, work motivation and job satisfaction at PT ABC. Number of samples that determined as many as 55 respondents and data processing using the PLS-SEM technique with SmartPls software. The research results obtained are that 1) Work discipline has a positive effect on employee performance at PT ABC; 2) Work motivation has a positive effect on employee performance at PT ABC; 3) Job satisfaction has a positive effect on employee performance at PT ABC.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of 1) work environment on employee performance; 2) work environment on employee motivation; 3) leadership on employee performance; 4) leadership on employee motivation; 5) employee motivation on employee performance with the phenomenon of a decrease in customer rates as one of the benchmarks of employee performance. The research conducted was a quantitative research conducted at PT XYZ in DKI Jakarta using employees at the Directorate of Technology & Products as respondents in the research. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire measuring tool using a Likert scale 1-5. The data analysis method used the Structural Equation Model (SEM) with SmartPLS software in processing the data. Work environment and leadership have a positive influence on employee motivation and both work environment, leadership and employee motivation have a positive influence on employee performance. This research relates to employee performance so that it can be used as material for consideration for organizations in an effort to improve employee performance and become a reference for further research.  Bahasa Indonesia Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh 1) lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan; 2) lingkungan kerja terhadap motivasi karyawan; 3) kepemimpinan terhadap kinerja karyawan; 4) kepemimpinan terhadap motivasi karyawan; 5) motivasi karyawan terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan fenomena adanya peningkatan Churn Rate pelanggan sebagai salah satu acuan kinerja karyawan. Penelitian yang dilakukan merupakan penelitian kuantitatif yang dilakukan di PT XYZ yang berada di DKI Jakarta dengan menggunakan karyawan di Direktorat Teknologi & Produk sebagai responden dalam penelitian. Pengumpulan data dengan alat ukur kuesioner menggunakan skala Likert 1-5. Metode analisis data menggunakan Structural Equaition Model (SEM) dengan software SmartPLS dalam pengolahan datanya. Lingkungan kerja dan kepemimpinan memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap motivasi karyawan serta baik lingkungan kerja, kepemimpinan dan motivasi karyawan memberi pengaruh positif terhadap kinerja karyawan. Penelitian ini berhubungan dengan kinerja karyawan sehingga dapat dijadikan bahan pertimbangan bagi organisasi dalam upaya meningkatkan kinerja karyawan serta menjadi referensi untuk penelitian selanjutnya.

The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of 1) Job Involvement on Job Outcome; 2) Job Involvement towards Work Engagement; 3) Job Characteristics on Job Outcomes; 4) Job Characteristics on Work Engagement; 5) Work Engagement towards Job Outcomes; 6) Work Engagement as a mediating variable between Job Involvement and Job Outcome; and 7) Work Engagement as a mediating variable between Job Characteristics and Job Outcomes. The respondents to this research are employees who work at PT. XYZ. The method used in this research is a quantitative method, using data collection in the form of an online questionnaire. The data collection technique in this research uses a non-probability sampling technique with a convenience sampling method, where the respondents are only employees who work at PT. XYZ. The number of samples used in this research was 200 respondents. Statistical data analysis in this research uses Structural Equation Modeling where data processing uses the SmartPLS 3.2.9 application. The results obtained from this research are 1) Job Involvement has a positive effect on Job Outcome; 2) Job Involvement has a positive effect on Work Engagement; 3) Job Characteristics have a positive effect on Job Outcomes; 4) Job Involvement has a positive effect on Work Engagement; 5) Work Engagement has a positive effect on Job Outcome; 6) Job Involvement has a positive influence on Job Outcomes through Work Engagement as a mediating variable; and 7) Job Characteristics have a positive influence on Job Outcomes through Work Engagement as a mediating variable.Bahasa Indonesia Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh 1) Job Involvement terhadap Job Outcome, 2) Job Involvement terhadap Work Engagement, 3) Job Characteristics terhadap Job Outcome, 4) Job Characteristics terhadap Work Engagement, 5) Work Engagement terhadap Job Outcome, 6) Work Engagement sebagai variabel mediasi antara Job Involvement terhadap Job Outcome, 7) Work Engagement sebagai variabel mediasi antara Job Characteristics terhadap Job Outcome. Responden dari penelitian ini adalah karyawan yang bekerja di PT XYZ. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif, dengan menggunakan pengumpulan data berupa kuesioner secara online. Teknik pengambilan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik nonprobability sampling dengan metode convenience sampling, dimana responden hanyalah karyawan yang bekerja di PT XYZ. Jumlah sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 200 responden. Analisis data statistik dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan Structural Equation Modelling dimana pegolahan data menggunakan aplikasi SmartPLS 3.2.9 Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah 1) Job Involvement berpengaruh positif terhadap Job Outcome, 2) Job Involvement berpengaruh positif terhadap Work Engagement, 3) Job Characteristics berpengaruh positif terhadap Job Outcome, 4) Job Involvement berpengaruh positif terhadap Work Engagement, 5) Work Engagement berpengaruh positif terhadap Job Outcome, 6) Job Involvement memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap Job Outcome melalui Work Engagement sebagai variabel mediasi, 7) Job Characteritics memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap Job Outcome melalui Work Engagement sebagai variabel mediasi.
