Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat
PaKMas (Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat) diterbitkan oleh Yayasan Pendidikan Penelitian Pengabdian Masyarakat adalah peer-reviewed journal yang memuat artikel-artikel ilmiah dari berbagai disiplin ilmu yang diadopsi dalam berbagai aktivitas pengabdian kepada masyarakat dan penelitian terapan lainnya. Artikel-artikel yang dipublikasikan pada jurnal PaKMas meliputi hasil-hasil penelitian ilmiah asli, artikel ulasan ilmiah yang bersifat baru, atau komentar atau kritik terhadap tulisan yang ada dimuat di jurnal PaKMas maupun dalam terbitan berkala ilmiah lainnya. PaKMas menerima naskah artikel dalam bidang riset terapan dan hilirisasi hasil penelitian ilmiah kuantitatif maupun kualitatif berbasis komunitas kedalam format pengabdian masyarakat yang mencakup bidang keilmuan yang relevan mencakup: 1. <![CDATA[This activity aims to provide knowledge about the importance of understanding consumers in this new era because in the sales process in the era and the COVID-19 pandemic, consumer behavior will definitely change. Therefore, the activity with the theme "Strategy to attract consumers to buy UMKM products" is expected to be a solution for UMKM in which the material presented includes the characteristics of consumers and also how to techniques to make consumers feel like buying products produced by UMKM. it is still difficult to be able to market the products they produce and this affects the income level of UMKM actors. At the end of these community service activities, we evaluate by giving questionnaires with respondents to see the percentage of participants' satisfaction levels during community service activities and to measure quantitatively the percentage of influence and impact after completing the implementation of service activities Some of the strategies shared in this socialization are new methods that UMKM actors can use to adapt in the marketing era n new. And it is hoped that it can change the mindset of UMKM actors in making the right marketing strategy in order to increase sales.]]>

<![CDATA[The lack of public understanding and awareness about safe drug information and misleading social media news related to drug use is a new challenge that cannot be underestimated. The purpose of this community service was to overcome the problem of the lack of public knowledge about side effects, especially as an effort to implement pharmacovigilance in the community. The method started from intervention to the community included providing education (socialization) on the dangers of drug side effects and workshops on the use of the method of measuring drug side effects using the Naranjo algorithm. The target of this activity was the residents of the Mertoudan, Mojosongo, Surakarta would get additional knowledge about drug side effects and know how to monitor it, also creating people who are aware of drug side effects. This activity increased the knowledge of residents about drug side effects and the ability to measure the probability of the occurrence of drug side effects. The implementation of this activity received a good response from the Chairperson of Dasa Wisma and the participants, who were very enthusiastic to increase their knowledge about drug side effects and the measurement method with the Naranjo algorithm.]]>

<![CDATA[The COVID-19 pandemic has affected all aspects of human life. This influence can be in the form of a positive or negative impact. Among students, not a few negative effects have been felt, such as decreased learning outcomes, increased boredom and stress etc. In addition to the negative impacts, some positive impacts can be seen and felt. One of them is the increasing ability of the community to use and utilize internet technology such as video conferencing technology, the use of social media etc. With the increasing ability to use internet technology, the opportunities to market products or services through the internet are also increasing. So that it brings new opportunities for students to be able to start their entrepreneurial activities from an early age when they are still studying in college. This community service activity is carried out through a scientific webinar that focusing on ways and strategies for students to be able to start their business as early as possible in the era of the COVID-19 pandemic. <![CDATA[The purpose of community service is to provide knowledge, motivation and increase public awareness about the importance of maintaining historical awareness through the preservation of historical objects in the Japanese hole in Gunung Pangilun Village, North Padang District, Padang City. Methods of Community Service, namely conducting outreach to the community and evaluation consisting of before evaluating the activity, at the time it was carried out and at the end of the activity which was made notes and then recapitulated. The results of this service show that the community increases knowledge and awareness of the importance of historical sites in the area where they live. This encourages the role of the community, protection and preservation of the reserve in preserving history as a cultural relic of the past.]]>

<![CDATA[The implementation of community service is carried out by providing solutions for fried food traders who sometimes experience problems, especially regarding the process of making merchandise for sale. The problem that arises is how to utilize solid waste from biomass in the form of wood as fuel when the process of making fried food, the hope is to reduce production operational costs and reduce waste around. The solution given is to use a biomass waste fuel stove, namely wood or charcoal, a stove with a gasification system. The utilization of wood waste and biomass as fuel can be a solution when LPG is scarce or the availability of wood waste is abundant. By calculation, using wood waste for cooking requires approximately 6 kg, economically it is cheaper because it utilizes biomass waste that is around. The disadvantage of using wood waste fuel is regarding the combustion residue, namely ash.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this activity is to provide knowledge of the importance of efforts to make the products produced, especially by MSMEs in Bogor Regency, acceptable to consumers. Because currently facing a condition where the products produced are still underestimated by consumers because most consumers currently consume products based on the manufacturer's brand and reputation, therefore this training was held to provide input to MSME actors. Bogor understands consumers in the new era. Where new things are needed to be done to arouse consumer buying interest in the products produced by this community. Several things are being done to make consumers buy by changing several production processes, including packaging which is the first impression seen by consumers to have curiosity and interest in buying the products they see on the market, regardless of this being an MSME product, but if it looks Interesting will make consumers become interested and decide to buy because they can feel a sense of pride for the products they buy judging from the first impression of the product.]]>

<![CDATA[This community service article discusses the study of the Risalatul Mahid book in implementing religious education in Madrasah Diniyah NU, Sidorejo Village, Pekalongan Regency. The discussion focused on the method and its application in learning, as well as assessment techniques after the implementation of learning. This service activity aims to strengthen the understanding of students/students regarding reproductive health, with the background that there are still people, especially teenage women who do not have a good understanding of their reproductive health. The learning method is carried out by providing material accompanied by discussions both online and offline, especially targeting female students at Madrasah Diniyah NU, Sidorejo Village. From the results of the activity, it can be concluded that in learning the Risalatul Mahid book, it is delivered according to the discussion chapter that will be taught and in its implementation it is responded well which can be seen from the increased understanding of participants related to reproductive health aspects.]]>

<![CDATA[Micro, Small, and Medium Entreprisess are businesses run by commoner with limited capital, and apply simple technology. Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises are an important part of the country's economy so it needs the role of the government to be able to support the existence of MSMEs. But the challenges faced by MSMEs are not easy such as making simple financial statements so that later they can be used as a condition for credit applications at banks, this is done so that MSMEs continue to grow and can innovate. The purpose of this activity is that business actors/MSMEs in Petahunan can apply continuously to simple financial records on each transaction. Methods carried out by counseling, training and mediation, as well as direct practice regarding recording transactions. The results showed that the participants enthusiastically participated in counseling, actively asking to be able to make financial statements simply. Based on this activity, it can be concluded that the MSMEs of petahunan have understood the importance of recording transactions to make simple financial statements. This will certainly have a good impact on business continuity and to create economic independence.]]>

<![CDATA[Weight problems are often a concern for teenagers. Be it overweight or underweight. The GADIS (Balanced Diet Action) program counseling was carried out to increase knowledge about a healthy and balanced diet based on these problems. Including adolescents in the Sangihe Islands Regency, North Sulawesi Province, based on the results of dietary observations carried out, namely, eating one time a day to lose weight. The activity was conducted on February 11, 2022, at SMKN 3 Tahuna, Sangihe Islands Regency. Activities are carried out in counseling with lecture methods, discussions, and demonstrations. Sixty-nine students attended the training. The action results in the form of an increase in knowledge of 8.9 through the consequences of pre-test and post-test assessments. This activity aims to increase understanding about regulating the balance of nutrients through the type and portion of each person's needs.]]>
