PaKMas (Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat) diterbitkan oleh Yayasan Pendidikan Penelitian Pengabdian Masyarakat adalah peer-reviewed journal yang memuat artikel-artikel ilmiah dari berbagai disiplin ilmu yang diadopsi dalam berbagai aktivitas pengabdian kepada masyarakat dan penelitian terapan lainnya. Artikel-artikel yang dipublikasikan pada jurnal PaKMas meliputi hasil-hasil penelitian ilmiah asli, artikel ulasan ilmiah yang bersifat baru, atau komentar atau kritik terhadap tulisan yang ada dimuat di jurnal PaKMas maupun dalam terbitan berkala ilmiah lainnya. PaKMas menerima naskah artikel dalam bidang riset terapan dan hilirisasi hasil penelitian ilmiah kuantitatif maupun kualitatif berbasis komunitas kedalam format pengabdian masyarakat yang mencakup bidang keilmuan yang relevan mencakup: 1. <![CDATA[At the end of 2020 and early 2021 the Covid-19 vaccine has been approved for general use in various countries. The level of public doubt about the covid-19 vaccination is generally growing throughout the world and is quite influencing people's motivation to get vaccinated. The low level of acceptance of the COVID-19 vaccine is due to indecision, it is evident that the level of indecision for Covid-19 vaccination differs across the world based on perceptions of susceptibility and severity of Covid-19 and demographic characteristics of society such as gender, age, education, income, and population. profession. Efforts to optimize vaccination achievements are contained in the Presidential Regulation which was signed on October 6, 2020 regarding the procurement of vaccines and the implementation of the vaccination program to tackle the covid pandemic, so the government has seriously prepared the vaccination program carefully regarding its distribution and implementation. Vaccines are the most economical and effective way to prevent infectious diseases including COVID-19. The purpose of community service activities is to assist government programs in accelerating the implementation of COVID-19 vaccination, it is necessary to optimize the vertical technical implementation unit of the Ministry of Health including Poltekkes by achieving the vaccination target of 1 million doses/day. For this reason, as a lecturer, as a form of implementation of the tri dharma, universities are encouraged to take an active role in Covid-19 vaccination activities according to the Decree of the Director of the Sorong Health Polytechnic regarding the determination of the vaccination team as a form of community service. The method of implementing activities directly in the field is in the form of health services. The location of the activity is at the Poltekkes vaccination center of the Ministry of Health, Sorong, Jalan Basuki rachmat Km. 11.5 Sorong West Papua. The target is all people of Sorong City and Sorong Regency who have not received vaccinations.]]>

<![CDATA[This activity aims to provide knowledge to start investing from an early age for people who have not invested in the capital market. Therefore, the themed activities “Introducing Investment in the Capital Market as an Alternative to Investment Apart from Banking” is expected to be a solution for the community to choose which investment is feasible. The material presented includes basic knowledge about investing in the capital market, investment goals, types of investment both real assets and financial assets, what is the initial process of becoming an investor and next, how to make transactions with the mechanism and characteristics of stock trading in accordance with the rules in force in the capital market. The results of the activity can be seen from the increased knowledge of the participants by investing in the capital market, participants still have difficulty understanding stock investments with trading mechanisms and characteristics, and the ability of participants to master the material is still lacking due to the short time in delivering the material so that participants are still interested in wanting to know more about investing in the capital market. At the end of the community service activity, we conducted an evaluation after delivering the introduction to investment in the capital market and provide the opportunity for participants to ask questions to make them interested in investing in the capital market. The success of this activity can be measured by the number of participants who ask questions. Participants also shared their experiences with investing in banking and insurance so that the participants will try to start investing in stocks.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this activity is to improve the ability and skills of BUMDes management, especially the Treasurer in recording financial transactions so that they can prepare BUMDes financial reports. This service activity is carried out using the BUMDes accounting training method and the preparation of BUMDes financial reports. The material provided in this training consists of theoretical material on accounting science to record all BUMDes financial transactions, namely income, cost, asset, debt and capital transactions, while practical material is the preparation of BUMDes financial reports. In this practice, mentoring is also carried out with the aim of making it easier for participants to understand so that they can prepare BUMDes financial reports correctly and accountably in the future. To measure the level of success, it is done by holding a pre-test and post-test, the value of the two tests is divided by 2, so that the average value is obtained. At a minimum, training participants must get a score of 60. The results achieved are able to improve the ability and skills in recording financial transactions so that they are able to prepare BUMDes financial reports correctly, and provide benefits to the performance of BUMDes management.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this activity is to increase the knowledge and ability of participants in the field of cosmetology, increase the confidence of the participants in the work environment. The method of this activity consists of the lecture method, demonstration method and evaluation method. The participants of this activity were 36 participants who were candidates for administrative staff who were studying at the second level of the Pusmanu Polytechnic Office Administration Study Program. Based on the observations made, it was found that almost 80% of the activity participants had never done make-up activities and did not know the complete make-up related equipment. The results of this make-up training activity received a positive response from all training participants, participants were very enthusiastic about participating in each stage of the make-up technique and participants were able to apply this activity for themselves. This activity is expected to be sustainable with materials related to make-up, hair care and how to use the hijab in order to improve a professional appearance in the work environment.]]>

<![CDATA[This community service activity is carried out to foster knowledge an understanding for teenagers to improve basic Microsoft Office computer skills, especially the use of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Power Point. This training activity was carried out for 2 weeks, starting from the stages of lectures, questions and answers, and direct practice independently. The target group that participates in the activity is youth with middle and high school age. The number of participants who attended was 22 participants who were divided into 2 groups. From this activity, this teenager has been able to master Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Power Point, so that they are proficient in using both software to do school assignments and as a provision for work later. The final result of this activity is in the form of writing in the form of publication of scientific articles.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this activity is to provide an increase in students' knowledge and abilities in the field of basic accounting as well as evaluate the shortcomings possessed by students in terms of the field of accounting. The method of activity carried out uses lecture methods, practice methods and evaluation methods. Participants of the activity came from all students of Pelita Cemerlang Junior High School in the eighth grade which amounted to 66 students where four students were not present on the day of implementation. Based on the results of the examination of the results of work practice answers conducted by pelita Cemerlang junior high school students, there are 80 percent who have the ability to answer and solve problems well. The results of this basic accounting training activity received a very good response because the 8th Grade Junior High School students were very careful to follow and listen to every process that was carried out. <![CDATA[This service activity aims to provide students with an understanding of learning on physics material through the experimental method using teaching aids. The place where this activity was carried out was SMP N 1 Tapian Nauli. This activity is divided into several stages, the first is the introduction of students by the student-teacher, the second stage is the delivery of learning materials, and the third stage is conducting experiments through teaching aids that have been provided by the teacher. The last stage is conveying the conclusions from the experiments carried out. This activity provides benefits in increasing student understanding of physics learning through the experimental method. With the experimental method used, students become more active and can see directly the physical phenomena that occur through observation. The application of this tutoring through teaching aids is expected to increase students understanding of learning not only with theories and formulas.]]>

<![CDATA[Learning that occurs in schools certainly has many obstacles and difficulties for students. As a result of online learning that was previously done, many students did not understand the learning material. Learning that occurs and takes place for students in science lessons, especially physics, has been a difficult lesson because of the many formulas and theories that tend to be memorized so that students feel less interested. In physics lessons, experiments are needed to improve students' understanding, so tutoring is carried out after school to overcome students' difficulties using teaching aids with the experimental method. Community service activities with tutoring are carried out at SMP Negeri 1 Tapian Nauli. Props used in electrical circuit material. With props that have been made can help students gain understanding and maximum learning outcomes in the tutoring carried out. The development of this electric circuit aid helps students to practice skills and understanding on series circuits and parallel circuits. The results of this tutoring activity increased student interest and learning outcomes, seen the average value of students before using the electric circuit teaching aid was 34.69 and after using the electric circuit teaching aid 86.57. Based on the N-Gain analysis, it is known that student learning outcomes are categorized as high and the results of the T test (Paired Sample Test) show a significant difference. The electric circuit teaching aids developed are very feasible, practical and effective to use in learning for students.]]>

<![CDATA[This training aims to improve the ability to use microsoft access programming for employees of the Bank Sumut Syariah business unit. This training was attended by all employees because this training is considered very important to support the performance of the employees. Currently, the Bank Sumut Syariah business unit has implemented technology based on Microsoft Access Programming in the context of carrying out all office activities. This training is carried out by means of socialization to employees, discussions, training and also direct practice of its use. The service activities for the Microsoft Access Programming Training have been carried out well. The service activity for the Microsoft Access Programming Training received an enthusiastic response from the participants of the Bank Sumut Syariah unit employees. Microsoft Access Programming training is carried out in stages and distributed in 14 meetings with a student center learning system and project based learning model so that employees can solve work problems with the skills that have been taught. Microsoft Access is a relational computer database application program that is used to design, create and process various types of data with large capacities.
