Abstract

e-HRM is an information technology that can increase the effectiveness and efficiency of a company's HRM system by carrying out the system's functions electronically or online. This study aims to analyze the effect of the use of electronic human resource management (e-HRM) on the effectiveness of HRM in banking companies. The Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) is used as a theory to analyze the influence of e-HRM determinants (performance expectancy, effort expectancy, and social influence) on the use of e-HRM systems. Empirical data were obtained through questionnaires distributed to one of the banking companies in Indonesia. Hypothesis analysis was performed using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) technique using Lisrel 8.80 software. These findings indicate that performance expectancy and effort expectancy can affect employees' use of the e-HRM system. The use of the e-HRM system has also been shown to have a positive and significant influence on the effectiveness of HRM at the policy and practice levels.

Abstract

This scientific work focuses on the discussion of Women's Representation of at least 30% in the nomination of legislative members according to Law No. 7 of 2017 concerning Elections. In this work the author raised 2 (two) major discussions, the first related to the basis of consideration of women's representation of at least 30% in the legislative nomination and the second related to the legal implications of the rule. To answer these two discussions, the writer uses a normative juridical legal approach through the study of legal materials and sources of literature related to the theme that the writer adopts. From the results of this study the authors found several urgent issues that underlie the regulation of women's representation at least 30% in legislative nominations. The legal implications for election participants who do not obey these rules are disqualified from the electoral process in the electoral district concerned, these rules also serve as a legal umbrella against women who have not been accommodated in the political process. Although the rules related to women's representation have a positive impact on the life of politics in Indonesia, these rules need to be evaluated and refined to ensure women's representation.

Abstract

The production environment has changed to a knowledge and technology system. Competition in the marketing system has also evolved into a more global and innovation system, becoming a competitive environment in most countries and businesses. Companies must evolve and innovate to deal with intense competition and shifting consumer demands if they hope to succeed in the long term in today's global market economy. Small and medium-sized enterprises must seek new motivations and business strategies to better develop new goods and services and take into account new information and technological advances. For businesses to grow, innovation is essential. Traditional innovation literature, first published in 1934, focuses on the factory sector, competitive markets and developed economies. Compared to other countries, Indonesia has a much higher proportion of small businesses per capita. Over the years, SMEs have contributed to developing countries in Asia (including ASEAN). Small and medium-sized enterprises are cited in ASEAN countries as a key driver of economic growth and development, the foundation of national economies, the highest-paying industry, and a potential tool for poverty reduction. Especially after the Asian financial crisis, including Indonesia.

Abstract

Riau Province is one of the areas rich in oil and other agricultural products. Therefore, Riau deserves to demand asymmetric decentralization as other places that have granted this decentralization right. The purpose of this paper is to explore the potential or things that are considered appropriate to be used as reasons why Riau Province has the right to be made special autonomy or asymmetric decentralization because specific areas that are rich in natural resources. This study uses a qualitative approach using a theory-based system where theory functions as a framework for understanding problems critically. The data collection tool used is the document method that the author collects. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that if viewed from the theory of UGM PLOD Research, Riau deserves asymmetric decentralization when viewed from historical and conflict factors, social and cultural factors, potential and economic growth factors, accelerated development factors, and government capacity. This was due to the joining of Siak Indrapura's work through Sultan Syarif Kasim II to the State of Indonesia and the abundant wealth of Riau. Meanwhile, the factors that do not support the above theory are geographical factors due to the separation of the Riau Islands from Riau itself. To support asymmetrical decentralization, quality resources from the people of Riau are needed so that the mentality of corruption can be removed. In addition, of course, the ability of the Riau people's representatives at the center to lobby the government so that asymmetric decentralization can be realized.

Abstract

The dynamics of outsourcing regulation bring varied impacts, especially regarding the legal protection for outsourced workers, which has been gradually regulated through Law Number 11 of 2020 on Job Creation. However, the legal protection system for outsourced workers still presents unresolved issues, particularly the imperfect concept of TUPE (Transfer of Undertakings Protection of Employment), which is a consequence of the legal transplant concept. This study is a normative juridical research with a legislative approach. The results of this study indicate that there are several factors contributing to the incomplete implementation of the TUPE concept, namely the effects of a flexible labor market and the inconsistency of the state's role in providing legal protection. These issues become evident in the imperfect regulation of the TUPE concept.
