Abstract

One indicator of service quality in hospitals is the efficiency of inpatient services, especially in the use of beds. The efficiency of bed utilization can be seen from the Barber Johnson chart based on the calculation of Bed Occupancy Rate (BOR), Length Of Stay (LOS), Turn Over Interval (TOI) and Bed Turn Over (BTO). The initial survey conducted, medical record officers of RSU Imelda Pekerja Indonesia Medan have never analyzed the efficiency of bed utilization based on class type using the Barber Johnson chart. The purpose of this study was to determine the efficiency of bed utilization based on class type using the Barber Johnson chart. This type of research is Mix Methods. Primary data in this study are the results of researcher observations and secondary data data obtained from the medical records work unit and SIRS RSU Imelda Pekerja Indonesia Medan. Data collection in this study was carried out using interview and observation techniques. The results of the study were that the BOR value did not meet the Barber Johnson standard, namely class I inpatient rooms (48%), class II (38%) and class III (60%). The LOS value has met the Barber Johnson ideal value standard, namely class I inpatient rooms (4.2 days), class II (4.5 days) and class III (4.2 days). The TOI value still exceeds the Barber Johnson standard value, namely class I inpatient rooms (7.7 days), class II (8.7 days), class III (3.3 days). The BTO value in class I (28 times) and class II (25.5 times) inpatient rooms is still not in accordance with the Barber Johnson standard, while class III (43.5 times) is in accordance with the Barber Johnson ideal value standard. the meeting point on the Barber Johnson graph of class I, class II and class III inpatient rooms is still outside the efficient area so that the indicators of the RSU Imelda Pekerja Indonesia inpatient room are still not efficient.

Abstract

This report assesses the water conditions and feasibility for both residents and hospitals in the Samarang area adjacent to the new road, Jl. Ibrahim Aji. The objective is to determine if the water conditions within the hospital comply with existing regulations. The research conducted for this report is of a descriptive nature. Based on the conducted interviews, it was revealed that the water supply in the vicinity of Jl. Ibrahim Aji is provided by a local water service, which, upon further investigation, draws its water from the Thunder Mountain springs. Organoleptic analysis suggests that this water is suitable for bathing, cooking, and other household needs. Regarding water sources used by hospitals, they utilize water from springs, rivers, lakes, and groundwater. However, it is imperative to ensure compliance with applicable standards. Based on the findings, it can be concluded that the groundwater in the area appears visually suitable for use, but further examination is required to assess its compliance with chemical, microbiological, and radiation safety criteria.

Abstract

Background:Pregnant women are a group that is vulnerable to being infected with Covid-19, and this has an impact on increasing the risk of maternal outcomes with Covid-19. According to the Indonesian government's policy, pregnant women can be given Covid-19 vaccinations, including the Pfizer and Moderna mRNA platforms, and the Sinovac inactivated platform vaccine. Pregnant women who have been vaccinated against Covid-19 will be less likely to suffer from Covid-19, thereby reducing the risk of complications for the mother and baby. Hematology images can assess prognosis, and predict and monitor the course of disease due to Covid-19. Purpose:To determine the relationship between Covid-19 vaccination status and the average levels of hemoglobin, platelets, leukocytes, lymphocytes, and the ratio of neutrophils to lymphocytes in women giving birth at Herna Hospital and Mitra Sejati Hospital, Medan. Methods: The research design used was descriptive-analytical with a cross-sectional approach used to analyze the relationship between Covid-19 vaccination status and the hematological features of third-trimester pregnant women who will give birth by cesarean section. This research was carried out at Herna General Hospital and Mitra Sejati Hospital in Medan. The inclusion criteria were full-term pregnancy, no complications during pregnancy, and willing to take part in the research and the exclusion criteria were unclear Covid-19 vaccination status. Analysis of the research data with the Chi-square test. Results:Based on the research results, from 190 samples of pregnant women, there were no significant differences in vaccination status based on hematological parameters, age, and gravida. Conclusion: Based on the research results, it can be concluded that there is no relationship between Covid-19 vaccination status and hematological features in pregnant women.

Abstract

Improving physical condition at the Futsal UKM Universitas Bali International, training was carried out on the Calf Raise Diagonal Cone Hop circuit  and the Front Cone Hop Squad circuit. This study aims to determine the training of the Calf Raise Diagonal Cone Hop circuit  and the Squad Front Cone Hop circuit in increasing leg muscle strength. The research method used is the randomized pre and post test group design experimental method. The research sample was 30 Futsal UKM participants who were divided into 2 groups, each group consisting of 15 people. Kelompok I diberikan pelatihan sirkuit Calf Raise Diagonal Cone Hop, sedangkan kelompok II diberikan pelatihan  Squad Front Cone Hop. Frequency of exercise 3 times a week for 6 weeks. Leg muscle strength is measured with a leg dynamometer. The results of the test study were different from the non-parametric U Mann-Whitney test in group I after treatment obtained an average leg muscle strength of 133.00 ± 26.43 kg. While the results of group II after treatment obtained an average leg muscle strength of 11 6.33 ± 1 4.76 kg. The difference in average leg muscle strength between before and after training from the two groups obtained a value of p = 0.000 which means there is a significant difference with a percentage increase in group I of 18.04% and group II of 13.26%. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that these two forms of training can be used to increase leg muscle strength. However, Calf Raise Diagonal Cone Hop circuit training  is more effective than the Squad Front Cone Hop circuit to increase leg muscle strength.
