Abstract

Posyandu is one of the government programs that plays a very important role in monitoring and developing the health of mothers and children under five. Through this program we can find out the health and nutritional status of children who are good as well as poor nutrition of children under five which can increase cases of maternal and child deaths. The aim of This research aims to find out the factors that influence the use of posyandu for toddlers in the working area of the durian shop public health center. This research is a type of quantitative research with a survey method, cross sectional in nature with a sample size of 86 mothers of toddlers. The research instrument was a questionnaire and data analysis was carried out using the chi square test at a real level of α=0.05. The linear regression test stated that the most dominant variable had an influence on cadre services on the utilization of Posyandu services (p=0.000) on a prevalence ratio (RP) of 21.10; 95%CI (5.42-82.18). It is recommended that posyandu cadres be expected to implement the 5 table system in implementing the posyandu and be more aggressive in conducting outreach regarding the benefits, goals and growth and development of children, so that all members of the community can make maximum use of the posyandu program. Abstract

Abstract: Toilet Training is a way to train children to be able to control urination and defecation. With Toilet Training, it is hoped that children will be able to urinate and defecate in designated places. The most common impact of failure in Toilet Training is the presence of strong treatment or rules for parents towards their children which can interfere with the child's personality or tend to be stubborn. The aim of the research is to determine the relationship between maternal behavior regarding toilet training in toddlers. This type of research is analytical with a cross-sectional design using random sampling, with a sample of 32 respondents, with a total of 20 questionnaires submitted to respondents. Based on research, it was found that the relationship between mothers' behavior regarding toilet training was sufficient for 28 mothers (87.5%), and the relationship between mothers' behavior regarding the definition of toilet training was sufficient for 27 mothers (84.4%). In relation to maternal behavior regarding the right time for the child to be ready to start toilet training, 16 mothers (71.9%) were sufficient. In relation to maternal behavior, 25 mothers (68.8%) indicated that children were ready to start toilet training. Regarding the relationship between mothers' behavior regarding tips to make toilet training easier, there were 26 mothers (81.3%). Abstract

Cadres are members of the local community who are elected, reviewed by the community and work voluntarily. The role of cadres in improving the level of public health is very much needed, one of which is in efforts to reduce infant and toddler mortality rates, and stabilize birth rates so that happy and prosperous small families can be created with family planning programs that can be promoted by cadres to the community. The research aims to assess factors related to cadre participation in posyandu activities in Meuraxa District, Banda Aceh City. This research uses an analytical survey method with a cross sectional approach. The population in the study were all Posyandu cadres in Meuraxa District, Banda Aceh City, totaling 30 people. which consists of 6 Posyandu and each Posyandu has 5 cadres. The results show that there is a significant relationship between knowledge, cadre needs, appreciation, the role of community leaders and the role of health workers where the p-value of these five variables is 0.000 with the participation of posyandu cadres in Meuraxa District, Banda Aceh City. Abstract

Bronchial asthma is a reversible respiratory disease, it does not persist. It can be cured well if treated properly. Recurrence of bronchial asthma does not occur if the trigger factors are avoided. This requires good behavior from the family in caring for patients at home. Behavior regarding bronchial asthma will influence the family in taking action to prevent recurrence of bronchial asthma. This study aims to determine the relationship between family behavior regarding bronchial asthma and measures to prevent recurrence of bronchial asthma. The type of research carried out was correlational with a cross-sectional design. The population in this study were all families of patients suffering from bronchial asthma who received treatment at the Simpang Tiga Health Center - Riau. The sampling technique was accidental sampling technique and a total of 25 respondents were obtained. The research results were analyzed using the Chi Square statistical test. The results of the study showed that the majority of family behavior regarding bronchial asthma was in the adequate category (72%) and the majority of preventive measures taken by families were poor (80%). From the data analysis obtained (P=0.77), this shows that there is no relationship between family behavior and measures to prevent recurrence of bronchial asthma.Behavior does not absolutely influence family actions in caring for family members. So it is recommended that health workers provide repeated counseling to families so that their actions change for the better. Abstract

Hypertension is a disease that arises due to the interaction of various risk factors that a person has. This disease can be experienced by anyone, especially older people. The method in this research is a type of correlation research which aims to analyze the influence of the behavior of hypertensive patients on efforts to minimize stroke attacks at the Ri Sidomulyo Riau Community Health Center in 2023. The population of this study was 1532 people. The sample in this study amounted to 39 people based on purposive sampling technique. The data used is primary by distributing questionnaires to respondents. The results obtained from the knowledge of hypertensive patients regarding dietary management were quite good for the majority, as many as 21 people (53.8%), The majority of hypertensive patients' knowledge about exercise is quite good, 17 people (43.6%), the majority of hypertensive patients' knowledge about weight loss is quite good, 20 people (51.3%) and the majority of hypertensive patients' knowledge about avoiding stress is not good, 17 people. (43.6%). So it can be concluded from this research that there is an influence on the behavior of hypertensive patients on efforts to minimize stroke attacks based on diet regulation, regular exercise and weight loss in the majority which is quite good, while the majority of stress management is not good. Health workers at the Ri Sidomulyo Riau Community Health Center are expected to be able to provide more complete and comprehensive health information.

Abstract

Nutritional status is a measure of success in fulfilling nutrition for pre-school children (aged 3-5 years) who come from the working area of ​​the Muara Fajar-Riau health center and is indicated by body weight and age or an indicator in measuring the nutritional status of the community because malnutrition can result in Various diseases such as calorie and protein deficiency, vitamin A, anemia, iron and iodine nutrition and the nutritional status of pre-school age can be divided into four, namely: over, good, under and poor nutritional status. Researchers aim to determine differences in nutritional status in pre-school children in the Muara Fajar-Riau health center working area. The sampling technique used in this research was Proportional Sample, the sample size obtained from each health center was: At the Muara Fajar-Riau Community Health Center there are 50 children aged 3-5 years. The total sample is 50 children aged 3-5 years in the Muara Fajar-Riau area using Total Sampling, the type of research is the analytical method using the independent t-test which obtained a p value = 0.000 (< 0.05), a significant hypothesis means there is Differences in nutritional status of pre-aged children between Muara Fajar-Riau Community Health Center working areas. It is hoped that the community health center can increase efforts to improve nutrition programs, increase families' awareness of the nutrition of pre-school age children, monitor mothers who do not want to visit the nearest health service with their children, and conduct outreach by providing information on nutritional developments to mothers who have Pre-school age children to avoid nutritional disorders.

Abstract

To investigate the emotional intelligence and critical thinking of nursing students. Emotional intelligence and critical thinking are basic elements of nursing practice and are involved in making decisions in nursing clinical practice, using evidence and information in practice and ensuring the quality of safe and effective services. systematic review of literature, article search through electronic databases (Scien direct, PunMed, BMC Nursing and ProQuest). Articles searched in English or Indonesian between 2012 – 2023. The article review process uses the PRISMA protocol. A total of 5 articles were used for review, the literature focused on emotional intelligence and critical thinking in nursing students. This literature review states that there is a relationship between emotional intelligence and critical thinking in nursing students. Nursing students with critical thinking skills and good emotional intelligence will be more successful in their education and find work more easily. Emotional intelligence and critical thinking can be learned and can be improved through active learning methods and student-centered learning methods.

Abstract

Pulmonary Tuberculosis is an infectious disease that is spread throughout the world and has become a public health problem, even in 2015, WHO declared pulmonary TB a global emergency. Based on the health profile of North Sumatra Province, in 2023, the prevalence of pulmonary TB was recorded at 13,833 sufferers, with a prevalence rate of 116.1 per 100,000 population. In the process of curing pulmonary TB, the important role of the family as the closest unit to the sufferer is needed, so that family knowledge and perceptions about pulmonary TB include: understanding, causes, signs and symptoms, methods of transmission, methods of care and treatment, as well as ways to prevent pulmonary TB are very much needed by the family. to support the healing process for pulmonary TB sufferers in the family. The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between family support and medication adherence in pulmonary TB patients at the Tenayan Raya Community Health Center in 2023. The type of research used is correlation with a cross-sectional study design. This research was conducted at the Tenaya Raya Health Center, the research was carried out April-August 2023. The research population was 30 people. Sampling in this study used a total sampling technique of 30 people. The results can be seen that 13.3% of respondents had insufficient family support but were not compliant and 3.3% were compliant, 23.3% of respondents had sufficient family support but were compliant, 60% of respondents had good family support but were compliant. The results of analysis using the chi-square test obtained a p value = 0.000.

Abstract

Based on data from Tarowang Village in 2020, the number of heads of families in Tarowang Village is 627. It is recorded that there is still a lack of public awareness of the importance of clean and healthy living behaviors. The aim of this research is to obtain an overview of family knowledge about clean and healthy living behavior in Tarowang Village, South Galesong District, Takalar Regency. The research method used is a descriptive research method where the research will describe the family's knowledge about clean and healthy living behavior in Tarowang Village, South Galesong District, Takalar Regency. The results of research conducted on 85 respondents showed that the number of respondents whose knowledge about clean living behavior was good was 56 (65.88%), while 29 (34.11%) had poor knowledge. The conclusion of this research is that family knowledge about clean and healthy living behavior in Tarowang Village, South Galesong District, Takalar Regency is quite good; out of 85 respondents, 56 (65.88%) have knowledge. The level of knowledge is good, and 29 respondents still have less knowledge, namely 34.11%. The inhibiting factors in the lack of knowledge about clean and healthy living behavior are mostly caused by a lack of public awareness and an inadequate educational background.

Abstract

Osteoporosis is a problem for the service system because the incidence of osteoporosis increases with age, and people adopt unhealthy lifestyles and reduce physical activity . This study aims to determine the knowledge of elderly people about preventing and treating osteoporosis in Maradekaya Village, Bajeng District, Gowa Regency. The type of research carried out was descriptive research. The sampling method used was accidental sampling. The research instrument used a questionnaire in the form of a check list. The results showed that 11.42% of respondents had good knowledge, and 22.85% of respondents had sufficient knowledge and the remaining 65.73% of respondents had poor knowledge. So it can be concluded that on average the elderly people in Maradekaya Village have insufficient knowledge about the prevention and treatment of osteoporosis
