Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out how much influence sales promotion and mobile marketing have on purchasing decisions at Bakso Margana Restaurant, Jalan Peta No. 91 branch. The method used in this research is a quantitative method with a descriptive research type. The population used in this study were consumers who had bought Bakso Margana Restaurant products, Jalan Peta No. 91, aged 34-45 years with a sample size of 100 respondents. Sampling was used in this study, namely, the purposive sampling method. Based on the results of the study using descriptive analysis with the help of SPSS for Windows software, it shows that the Sales Promotion and Mobile Marketing variables are included in the very good category with no significant effect simultaneously and there is a partial effect on the Product Purchasing Decision of the Bakso Margana Restaurant, Jalan Peta No. 91.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has drastically changed the business landscape and provided new challenges and opportunities for companies, especially for start-up companies. This study aims to analyze business development strategies in the digital era with a focus on start-up companies. The research method used includes literature study and SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats). In this study, it was identified that the strengths of start-up companies include flexibility, innovation, and the ability to adapt quickly to market changes. Opportunities that exist in the digital era include the growth of e-commerce, the adoption of new technologies, and extensive online connectivity. However, the company also faces internal weaknesses such as limited resources, lack of experience, and limited infrastructure. Threats faced include intense competition, regulatory changes, and data security risks. Based on the SWOT analysis, several alternative business development strategies in the digital era were identified. Strategies based on strengths and opportunities include adopting new technologies quickly, correcting product or service innovation weaknesses, expanding connectivity through online networks and social media, and expanding the reach of products or services to new market segments or different industries.In addition, strategies based on weaknesses and opportunities include leveraging technological capabilities, investing in human resource development, and collaborating with third parties. Furthermore, strategies based on weaknesses and threats include improving data security, strengthening risk management, and increasing operational efficiency. The advice given in this research includes improving digital expertise, using data for decision making, focusing on customer experience, building, strengthening online presence, building partnership strategies, following market trends and developments, as well as maintaining sustainability and long-term development. This research contributes to start-ups in understanding the challenges and opportunities for business development in the digital era and provides strategic guidance to deal with them. Companies can adopt strategies that are relevant to their business characteristics and needs, so as to increase competitiveness, achieve sustainable growth, and achieve success in the digital era

Abstract

The conflict of Economic Crisis that occurred in Indonesia during the Soeharto era in 1997 was a situation due to the influence of economic conditions in neighboring countries, which caused the rupiah exchange rate to be depressed. As a result of this situation, Indonesia decided to request economic assistance from the International Monetary Fund, where the IMF provided a number of loans under conditions agreed by Indonesia. This article was written with the aim of discussing what role did the IMF gave to the Reformation that took place in 1998. This research will be using qualitative methods carried out by analysis of case studies and review of related documents and archives. The results that can be found from this article are in fact, the assistance provided by the IMF only provides temporary solution and brings further problems from the economic crisis. The agreement between the Indonesian government and the IMF actually harmed the course of the Indonesian economy and worsened the situation at that time.

Abstract

The managerial leadership style of the madrasa principal in his capacity as a leader and teacher as an educator is very important for the success of the quality of education. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. This type of research is qualitative with the participation of teachers at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Al-Ishlah. This research analyzes the data using the method of collecting data through documentation, interviews and direct observation in the field using case studies. The results of the study explain data collection, data reduction, data display, and data inference. Data collection instruments by way of in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. This study found that some teachers had used managerial leadership styles but other practical activities had not been carried out optimally. This is because the support from teacher performance and teacher innovation has not been optimal, so that the quality of education has not been fully achieved. Even so, teachers realize that managerial leadership style and teacher performance with innovative mediation can improve teacher quality.

Abstract

In the current era of globalization, competition in the cosmetics business is getting tougher and requires the right marketing strategy to attract consumers. One of the factors that can influence consumer decisions in buying cosmetic products is brand image and product quality. The purpose of this study was to find out whether the brand image and product quality variables affect the decision to buy INE skincare products, the method used in this study uses a scientific approach by collecting and analyzing quantitative data, namely data that can be measured using numbers and statistics, with conducting research on a portion of the population in Cikarang and its surroundings, it is hoped that the results of this study are able to describe the population concerned. The sample of this research is 72 respondents and the data analysis method used is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with Partial Least Square (PLS) approach. The results of this respondent's data processing show that brand image (X1) has no significant effect with a result of 0.829 > 0.05, then the influence of product quality (X2) has a significant effect with a result of 0.000 <0.05, then the influence of word of mouth promotion (Z) has a significant effect with a result of 0.000 <0.05, on the decision to buy (Y) for INE skincare products.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is an influence of internal environment, external environment to strategic decision making in retail industry at Makassar city. The sample of this research was 85 owner or manager minimarket retail. The method used in this study is quantitative method with multiple linear regression analysis techniques. The data used are secondary data and primary data, hypothesis testing uses the coefficient of determination test (R²), hypothesis F Results, and hypothesis T Results.

Abstract

Financial literacy is essential for effectively managing and making financial decisions. Indonesia has a poor degree of financial literacy, which leads to excessive consumption. Supported by Consumer Survey conducted by Bank Indonesia show the level of saving behaviour in society is still low. Students as an element tend not to have good financial management skills and become consumptive. This study aims to analyze the influence of social influence, financial literacy, saving behaviour, and self-control as moderating variable on students in Bandung City. In research, quantitative methods are used. The data were collected from 400 Bandung students aged 18 to 25 and analyzed using Partial Least Squares (PLS) Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). This study found that social influence had significant effect on financial literacy, financial literacy influences saving behaviour, financial literacy mediates the relationship between social influence and saving behaviour, and self-control moderates the relationship between financial literacy and saving behaviour.

Abstract

Currently, of the many industries that are experiencing development, the coffee retail industry is one of the many industries that has rapid development. Of the many coffee shops, Starbucks is one of the most well-liked among teenagers in Indonesia. Starbucks Indonesia experienced a decrease in revenue in 2020, therefore important for Starbucks to communicate through social media or Electronic Word of Mouth (e-WOM) to support consumers in receiving quality and credible information related to products in order to increase consumer Purchase Intention. This study was conducted by sending online surveys to 400 respondents using the Google Form. The descriptive and causal analysis method was used in this study with quantitative methods and data collection through questionnaires. Multiple Linear Regression is the method that used for data analysis in this study and SPSS 25 for windows is used to analyze the data. Based on the data’s outcome data analysis that has been obtained, it can be concluded that e-WOM Quality, Quantity, and Credibility have an impact on purchasing intent that is both positive and significant. The study’s findings are anticipated to be used as evaluation data by Starbucks Indonesia in maintaining and improving the company's performance by providing the best service and meeting the needs of its customers

Abstract

In recent years, Indonesia's population of internet users has steadily grown. This internet usage promotes the growth of e-commerce or inflammation. The volume of payments made via electronic payment systems has expanded along with Indonesia's expanding e-commerce economy. Students currently use the most electronic payment solutions. Students find it appealing to use electronic payment systems to make payments because of some of the characteristics that can give them financial happiness. One of the most popular electronic payment methods is the e-wallet. The purpose of this study is to ascertain how electronic payment systems affect students' financial satisfaction in Bandung City by mediating the effects of financial advice, financial anxiety, and financial capability. This research is a quantitative study, with a population of students in Bandung City aged 18-24 years. Purposive sampling was used to do the sampling and collected 400 samples. This study uses Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis. The results of this study indicate that all variables have a significant influence on other sub-variables in the study, because they have a t-statistic value greater than the t-table value of 1.96.

Abstract

In the era of globalization like today, competition in doing business is very tight. The company must be able to meet the needs of each of its consumers. To know every consumer need, companies must use the right marketing strategy. This study aims to determine the influence of Brand Image, Price, and Product Quality on the Purchase Decision of MS Glow Acne Series in Central Cikarang. The type of research used is quantitative. Sampling using Non Probability Sampling technique with purposive sampling method. The population in this study is all users of Acne Series MS Glow in Central Cikarang. The sample was determined with 80 respondents using the Slovin formula. The data collection methods used include the distribution of questionnaires and literature studies. Analysis methods are validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, hypothesis tests using determination coefficient tests, F tests and t tests. The results of the analysis show that brand image has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions, price has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions, product quality has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions, and brand image, price and product quality have a positive and significant effect simultaneously on purchasing decisions. The amount of influence given by the independent variable on the dependent variable was 50.4% and the remaining 49.6% was influenced by other variables outside this study.
