Abstract

Excise as an indirect tax has a regulatory and budgetary function. Excise revenues always increase from year to year. Excise revenue from tobacco products is very large, however there are still violations in the field of distribution and trade in illegal tobacco products. The government issued Minister of Finance Regulation Number 22 of 2023 concerning Allocation of Tobacco Products Factories. Before this regulation was issued, Minister of Finance Regulation Number 21/PMK.04/2020 concerning Tobacco Products Industrial Areas was implemented. Provisions regarding NPPBKC are regulated in Minister of Finance Regulation number 66/PMK.04/2018 concerning Procedures for Granting, Freezing and Revoking Excisable Goods Entrepreneur Identification Numbers, which was last amended by Minister of Finance Regulation number 68 of 2023. The tobacco products industry can intervene. influence the excise policy taken by the government. Government policies towards controlling the consumption of tobacco products vary from a fiscal and non-fiscal perspective. The factory agglomeration policy should be revoked. Tobacco product entrepreneurs who cannot fulfill the NPPBKC licensing requirements can be assisted by using the Tobacco Product Excise Profit Sharing Fund to do business in non-excisable goods sectors.

Abstract

The study's aim was to pinpoint the variables that went into choosing Manado's shopping centers. Two hundred and ten respondents answered a self-made questionnaire  to determine the factors influencing the choice of shopping mall, a survey and an in-depth interview were both done. The result of the in-depth interviews yielded 31 factors, which were utilized to generate a 29-item questionnaire. Using exploratory factor analysis and primary factor extraction, four factors clustered the 29 items.  Facilities, design and product, location, and channels are four factors that emerge as the contributing factors in choice of shopping centers. Facilities have the highest variance, whereas channels have the lowest variance, which helps to explain the selection of shopping malls. There is no significant relationship between gender and selection of retail centers. The results of the study will aid shopping center owners and retail marketers in understanding why people choose to shop at malls. They can develop their plans for shopping malls based on these pillars

Abstract

This research aims to determine the role of customer satisfaction in mediating brand image and perceived value on brand loyalty at Tri providers in Bali. This research uses a quantitative approach, in this quantitative approach the research is pre-determining, analyzing statistical data and interpreting statistical data. This research was carried out in the Municipality of Denpasar. The subjects in this research were all Tri provider customers in Bali. The objects of this research are Brand Image (X1) and Perceived Value (X2), Brand Loyalty (Y) as the dependent variable, through and Customer Satisfaction (M) as mediation. The sample selection in this research used a non-probability sampling method. This research uses Structural Equation Model (SEM) analysis based on Partial Least Square (PLS). The results of this research show that brand image has an influence on brand loyalty. However, perceived value has no influence on brand loyalty. Likewise, brand image and perceived value have an influence on customer satisfaction, and customer satisfaction has an influence on brand royalties. In the indirect effect, there is an influence between brand image and brand royalty through customer satisfaction, whereas perceived value has no effect on brand royalty through customer satisfaction. Whether or not the relationship between these variables is influential is caused by consumers having limited ability to choose purchasing decisions so that companies provide many alternative products and service options which then become the basis for customers in making purchasing decisions. The diversity of products offered ranges from types and competitive prices, to the services provided, so that under these conditions the company not only differentiates itself in products but also in competitive price variants and other aspects.

Abstract

This research explores the dynamics of investor behavior within the framework of risk and return by proposing Causal Loop Diagrams (CLDs) as a modeling tool. The study delves into the intricate relationships between market sentiment, risk perception, stock prices, and investment decisions. The reinforcing and balancing loops identified in the CLDs highlight the complex interplay of factors that shape investor behavior and market dynamics. The reinforcing loop between positive market sentiment and buying decisions illustrates the strong influence of sentiment on investor actions, potentially leading to prolonged bullish trends. Conversely, the reinforcing loop linking high risk perception to selling decisions depicts a negative cycle, with declining stock prices reinforcing risk perception, triggering further divestment. These loops showcase how market participants respond to changing conditions, stabilizing the market during downturns. Implications of the CLDs include the ability to identify market trends, potential risks, and the influence of investor decisions on market dynamics. Recommendations for market participants, analysts, and policymakers emphasize the importance of understanding market sentiment, implementing prudent risk management, and adapting strategies to changing market conditions. In conclusion, the proposed CLDs offer a valuable tool for comprehending the complexities of investor behavior, contributing to improved investment strategies, enhanced risk management practices, and a deeper understanding of financial market dynamics. This research contributes significantly to advancing our understanding of the intricate factors that shape investor decisions and influence the direction of financial markets.

Abstract

The development of information and communication technology has changed the political landscape significantly, introducing new elements that influence the democratization process. This research aims to explore and analyze the dynamics of democracy in facing the challenges and opportunities that arise in the digital era. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The research results show that in the digital era, people can quickly access political information, but at the same time face the risk of spreading false information and polarizing opinions. Active participation through online participatory platforms offers opportunities for citizens to be involved in decision-making processes, but unequal access to technology remains a barrier. Social media, while opening the door to wider participation, also contributes to the formation of echo chambers that can deepen gaps in views
