Abstract

Revolutions in science and technology have occurred many times, with great and unexpected consequences. Philosophy is the mother of all sciences that develop in the world, philosophy plays an important role in every development of science. Management philosophy is a collection of knowledge and beliefs that provide a broad basis or basis for determining problem solving. This study uses a literature study research method. One type of research is called library research and involves various text reference materials to see which ones are still relevant to this problem. Documentation techniques will be used as a collection method for this final assignment. Researchers collect various sources and key notes that are still relevant to the problem as part of the documentation process, which in itself is a method used by researchers. Using this approach makes it much easier to obtain accurate and complete data. The four perspectives of epistemological and ontological formations provide a framework for management to know how they act as managers of an organization. The industrial revolution 4.0 will also have an impact on changing lifestyles and community habits. For companies that cannot respond to the impact of these changes, they will be crushed by themselves. Thus, human resource management in an organization/company needs to design a program that can align the need to achieve organizational/business goals with the existence of its human resources.

Abstract

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is a concept that has become a primary focus for companies in their efforts to build a positive image and fulfill their social responsibilities. Although various studies have demonstrated the significant impact of CSR on brand equity, brand credibility, and consumer purchase intention, research involving educational institutions in the context of CSR remains relatively limited. This study aims to analyze the CSR program of a distribution company for MRO (Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul) equipment and its impact on brand equity, brand credibility, and purchase intention. The CSR program focuses on a mechanical competition for students at Vocational High Schools (SMK) in the Greater Jakarta area (Jabodetabek). This research adopts an explanatory quantitative approach to test theories or hypotheses in order to support or refute previous findings. Data were collected through the distribution of questionnaires to all vocational education mentors involved in the mechanical competition at SMKs in the Jabodetabek region. The sample was determined using the Hair formula, resulting in 150 respondents. The collected data were then analyzed using SEM-PLS software. The research findings show that the proposed model highlights the significant role of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) as a key factor influencing various dimensions of brand management. CSR not only contributes to enhancing brand credibility and brand reputation but also has a significant impact on strengthening brand equity, which in turn plays a role in increasing consumer purchase intention. The results of this study provide a foundation for companies and vocational schools to develop CSR strategies that can improve brand equity, brand credibility, brand reputation, and purchase intention.

Abstract

This study examines how morality affects the influence of cash internal controls and financial pressure on accounting fraud tendencies. Accounting fraud, a dishonest practice in financial reporting or management, can harm an organization's accountability and related parties. Understanding the contributing factors is crucial for effective fraud prevention and detection. This paper investigates how an individual's moral values impact the relationship between cash internal controls, financial pressure, and the propensity for fraudulent actions. By exploring morality's moderating role, the study aims to inform comprehensive strategies to mitigate accounting fraud. Using survey data from financial professionals, regression analysis showed that strong cash internal controls can reduce fraud tendencies, but this effect weakens under high financial pressure. Importantly, individuals with a stronger moral compass are less likely to engage in fraud, even when facing financial pressure. These findings underscore the critical role of personal ethics and integrity in shaping fraud-related decision-making. The implications can guide policymakers, organizational leaders, and the financial community in promoting ethical practices and deterring fraudulent activities.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has a significant impact on the entertainment industry, especially on mobile games. Evaluation is needed to ensure usability, experience, and player satisfaction. The rapid increase in the mobile game industry makes evaluating these aspects important to ensure that games are not only attractive from the virtual, but also provide an optimal playing experience. The SUS method is used to measure the usability of the game, while GEQ evaluates the dimensions of the playing experience, such as emotion and involvement, and PENS measures the psychological needs of players, such as competence, autonomy, and connectedness. This study evaluates the Mobile Legends game using the System Usability Scale (SUS), Game Experience Questionnaire (GEQ), and Player Experience of Need Satisfaction (PENS). The results of 101 data obtained showed a SUS score of 52.89 which is included in the "ok" category at Low Marginal which requires improvement. GEQ and PENS show a positive playing experience even though some psychological needs have not been fully met. The combination of these three methods provides a comprehensive understanding of the user experience that can be a reference for the development of future mobile games.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of competence and the use of accounting information system on the quality of financial reports in BUMDes (village-owned enterprises) in West Kupang District, while also examining governance as a moderating variable. The research employed a purposive sampling method, selecting 36 participants from all BUMDes in the district. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed via Google Forms and analyzed using the SEM-PLS (partial least squares) technique with Smart PLS 3 software. The results reveal that competence does not significantly affect the quality of financial reports, whereas the use of accounting information system has a positive and significant impact. Governance plays a moderating role, strengthening the relationship between competence and the quality of financial reports but weakening the relationship between the use of accounting information system and the quality of financial reports. These findings highlight the critical role of governance in enhancing financial reporting quality. The study's practical implications suggest the need for improved governance effectiveness and financial management strategies in village enterprises to ensure better financial reporting practices. These insights contribute to the literature on village financial management and provide actionable recommendations for policymakers and stakeholders.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the impact of ESG risk ratings provided by Sustainalytics on corporate value in Indonesia. The study focuses on companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2023, with ESG risk ratings as the independent variable and control variables such as corporate size, leverage, and liquidity. The purpose of this research is to assess how ESG factors influence corporate financial performance, with Return on Assets (ROA) and Tobin’s Q used as proxies for corporate value. The research utilizes a multivariate regression analysis with a cross-sectional data approach, employing Stata 17 software for data processing and analysis. The results indicate that ESG risk ratings have a significant positive impact on corporate value, suggesting that companies with higher ESG ratings generally exhibit higher corporate value. Additionally, corporate size and ROA were found to have a positive effect on corporate value, while leverage and liquidity were not statistically significant in this model. This study contributes to the existing body of literature by providing new insights into the role of ESG factors in shaping corporate value, especially in emerging markets such as Indonesia. The practical implications of these findings suggest that both companies and investors should take ESG factors into account when making investment decisions. Moreover, the results emphasize the importance of improving transparency in ESG reporting, as it can help reduce risks and uncertainties for stakeholders, leading to better decision-making and encouraging more sustainable business practices. This research highlights the growing relevance of ESG considerations in modern corporate governance.

Abstract

Research aims: this study aims to investigate the effect of Occupational Safety and Health Management, Workload, and Safety Behavior on Work Safety. Design/Methodology/Approach: Drawing from the social exchange theory and flow theory, a theoretical framework was developed and tested using data collected from 80 PT. PLN (Persero) workers. A questionnaire survey was used to collect the data, while structural equation modeling (SEM) analysis was used as the data analysis approach. Research findings: The results reveal that both occupational safety and health management and safety behavior have a significantly positive impact on work safety amongst PT. PLN (Persero) workers and Workload do not affect Work Safety. Theoretical contribution/Originality: This study contributes to the Work safety literature by examining how work safety indicators such as occupational safety and health management affect work safety. In the context of PT. PLN (Persero) worker's occupational safety and health management is important, as the workers are frequently exposed to and threatened by serious work safety problems. Yet, there has been a paucity of research on the PT. PLN (Persero) sector to understand the relationship. Research limitation/implication: the study implies that when organizations are willing to improve occupational safety and health management, their employees will perceive improved work safety, and then will have more safety behavior and work safety.
