Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the response of multifunctional fertilizer and cow dung on the growth and production of Soybean (Glycine max L.) plants and their interactions. This study was conducted in Klambir Lima Hamparan Perak Village, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra from January to March 2023, using a factorial Randomized Block Design (RAK), with three blocks, 12 combinations. The first factor is cow dung fertilizer (P0) = 0 kg/plot, (P1) = 1.5 kg/plot, (P2) = 3 kg/plot, and (P3) = 4.5 kg/plot. The second factor is ecoenzyme (E1) = 90 ml/plot, (E2) = 180 ml/plot and (E3) = 270 ml/plot. The parameters observed were plant height (cm), number of productive branches (branches), number of pods per sample (plong), number of plong per plot (pods), production per sample (g) and production per plot (g). The results of the study showed that the provision of cow dung fertilizer had an effect on all observation parameters. The best observation parameter results on soybean plants were in the P3 = 4.5 kg / plot treatment. The provision of multifungal fertilizer on the growth and production of soybean plants had an effect on all observation parameters. With a treatment of 270 ml / plot gave the best results on soybean plants, while the interaction between cow dung fertilizer and ecoenzyme had no significant effect on all observation parameters.

Abstract

MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) play a strategic role in supporting Indonesia's economic growth, both through their contribution to GDP, employment absorption, and expansion of domestic and international markets. This study aims to analyze the acceleration of MSMEs in the expansion of national economic growth, with a focus on key factors that influence the ability of MSMEs to grow, innovate, and compete in the global market. This research approach uses a mixed method, involving quantitative analysis of secondary data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) and the Ministry of Cooperatives and MSMEs, as well as in-depth interviews with MSME actors in various sectors. The results of the study show that MSME acceleration is influenced by three main factors: business digitalization, access to financing, and improving human resource skills. The implementation of digital technology has been proven to increase operational efficiency and expand market access, both locally and internationally. However, obstacles such as low digital literacy, limited capital, and suboptimal regulations are still major challenges. This study recommends strengthening policies that support MSME digitalization, providing inclusive access to financing, and more focused entrepreneurship training and education. With targeted acceleration, MSMEs have great potential to become the main driving force of Indonesia's sustainable and inclusive economic growth.

Abstract

Startup companies face significant financial risks due to the innovative nature of their business, high levels of uncertainty, and limited resources. This study aims to explore financial risk management strategies in startup companies from an accounting perspective using a mixed-methods approach. This method combines quantitative analysis of startup financial data with in-depth qualitative interviews with company founders, financial managers, and accountants. This research also involves support and data from various institutions such as the Financial Services Authority (OJK), the Indonesian Venture Capital Association (Amvesindo), and the Indonesian Startup Studio from the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology (Kominfo). The results of quantitative research show that the implementation of accrual-based financial reporting systems, risk-based budget utilization, and proactive cash flow management are the main practices in reducing financial risks. Meanwhile, qualitative findings reveal that understanding of financial risk is often limited, especially in early-stage startups. An effective risk mitigation strategy involves a combination of the use of digital accounting technology supported by institutions such as IDX Incubator, as well as strict management of debts and receivables with investor collaboration through platforms such as Amvesindo. This study concludes that the integration of modern accounting approaches with a deep understanding of startup risk dynamics can increase a company's resilience to financial challenges. The study recommends the development of a risk accounting-based training model with support from the Indonesian Institute of Public Accountants (IAPI) and University Research Institutes, as well as increased access to financial resources through the support of institutions such as BEKRAF and the Asian Development Bank (ADB). Further research is expected to explore the application of this strategy in a broader context and with a variety of industry sectors.
