Abstract

This research was conducted at PT. Huta Bayu Marsada especially on fiber cyclone units. To produce palm kernel products with good quality, the processing process is carried out as efficiently as possible, one of which is by preventing core losses. The problem in this study is to find out the total percentage of losses and the amount of palm kernel losses to the incoming feed on Fiber Cyclone at PT. Huta Bayu Marsada. Sampling was carried out for 6 (six) days from the fiber cyclone unit and analysis was carried out in the laboratory for 4 (four) components, namely fiber, intact core, broken core, and core + shell. Samples were taken as much as + 1000 grams at 13.00 WIB - 15.00 WIB. The sample is cyclone fiber waste and analysis of core losses from cyclone fiber is carried out in the factory laboratory. The results of the study showed losses of palm kernel on fiber cyclone at PT. Huta bayu marsada for 6 consecutive days is 0.835%; 0.823 %; 0.785 %; 0.732 %; 0.862% and 0.894% which are still in accordance with the standards at this factory, namely ≤ 1.02%. The difference in the results of the sample components is due to the different sample sizes. Factors affecting palm kernel losses in the Fiber Cyclone process are caused by fruit maturity, harvest phase and air velocity on the specific gravity of the sample. The largest number of palm kernel losses occurred on the sixth day of 518.4668 kg, this was influenced by the total % LossesThe largest number of palm kernel losses occurred on the sixth day of 518.4668 kg, this was influenced by the total % Losses. The amount of palm kernel loss to incoming feed is getting bigger because of its thin and flat shape which makes it easy to lift up and causes losses to increase.

Abstract

Life on Earth can no longer be free from pollution. Pollution has an unfavorable impact, especially for health. Air pollution, for example, besides being able to trigger lung health problems, can also increase the risk of glaucoma which can result in blindness. Air pollution is pollution in the air by the presence of various contaminants beyond the threshold. A journal published by LAPAN said that some of these pollutants have the chemical elements CO, NO, SO, SPM (suspended particulate matter, O) and various heavy metals such as lead. Globally, the contributors to air pollution come from the transportation sector. In this study a design was designed. a system that can monitor air quality in a place, using the MQ-135 sensor, which is a gas sensor that has a relatively high sensitivity to ammonia, benzene, alcohol, CO2, smoke and other gases. And the MQ-7 sensor is a gas sensor used in equipment to detect carbon monoxide (CO) gas in everyday life, industry or cars. This system is based on the ATMega8 microcontroller as the main processor, and monitoring results are displayed on a 2 x 16 character LCD. So that the system becomes portable but still reliable to use. flat shape which makes it easy to lift up and causes losses to increase.

Abstract

The problem of load imbalance in the power distribution network system always occurs, and the cause of the imbalance is in the arrangement of single-phase loads on low-voltage network customers. As a result of the load imbalance, a current appears in the transformer neutral. Where the current flowing in the neutral of this transformer causes losses, namely losses due to the neutral current in the neutral conductor of the transformer for the distribution of electrical energy in the distribution system where voltage losses will affect the distribution of electrical energy to consumers where if there is a voltage loss in the distribution system, the electrical energy that will be distributed to consumers will be non-standard again in accordance with SPLN no. 72 of 1987, the analysis in writing this paper is to cover the extent of the voltage drop in the Palu City Rayon area, considering that the spread is an old extension. based on annual data from 2019 to 2021.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out whether the value relevance of the fair value of assets and liabilities at levels 1 and 2 is higher than at level 3 and to find out whether institutional ownership increases the value relevance of the fair value of assets at level 1, level 2 and level 3. This research was conducted in banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2018-2020 period, which was determined using the purposive sampling method so that 90 company sample data were selected. Using the panel data linear regression method, the results show that the fair value of level 3 assets is more relevant than levels 1 and 2, while the fair value of liabilities at levels 1 and 2 produces a higher relevance than level 3. This research shows that it is not proven that level 1 and 2 fair value information is more relevant than level 3 for investor decision making. In subsequent tests, institutional ownership is not proven to increase the relevance of the fair value of level 1, level 2 and level 3 assets.

Abstract

Unemployment and poverty are two macroeconomic indicators. This research discusses the problem of the unemployment rate against the poverty rate in the city of Palembang in 2020–2021. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the unemployment rate in the city of Palembang on the poverty rate in 2020–2021. This study uses multiple linear analysis methods with secondary data and a quantitative approach. Unemployment or joblessness is a term given to people who do not work at all or who are looking for work. Unemployment can also be interpreted as a situation when someone does not have a job. Unemployment is also generally found in the number of workers or someone looking for work that is not proportional to the number of available jobs they can get. Therefore, problems in the economy due to unemployment can reduce productivity and income in society, which can lead to poverty and other social problems. Unemployment, according to BPS, is a resident who is not working but is looking for work or preparing for a business, or feels that it is impossible to get a job (is desperate), or has been accepted to work but has not started working yet. BPS determines the poverty criteria using the basic needs approach, while the poverty indicators used are the head count index and the severity index,
