Abstract

The results of a introduction study in some SMA in Padang which used 2013's curriculum showed teachers use learning device still dont meet the rules of competency standards, content standards, process standards, assessment standards and competence standards. Besides that, the common learning devices are not used properly. So the achievement of knowledge competence of students dont meet expectations. This study aims to generate device learning Physics oriented to guided inquiry are suitable for use in physics learning in SMA/MA review of validity and practicalities. The type of this research is the Research and Development (R&D) ADDIE models (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement and Evaluate) is reduced to develop. This research included 8 experts judgment thatare 5 lecturers of Physics FMIPA UNP as validator, 3 Physics teacher as practitioner and one class of students are ten grade students of MIPA 4 SMAN 9 Padang. Data obtained are quantitative and qualitative data, the data observation and interviews, the value of knowledge documentation, and questionnaire. The average results of the validation device physics learning 83.73% in the range (0-100) in the valid criteria. While the average results of the practicalities by teachers 93.61% in the range (0-100) in the practical criteria, and the average of the practicalities of 33 students of instructional materials 80% in the practical criteria. The results of this research indicate the device learning Physics oriented to guided inquiry fit for use in physics learning in SMA/MA review of validity and practicalities.

Abstract

Learning according to the 2013 curriculum requires teachers to develop the quality of learning, especially in the use of teaching materials of physics learning. By using teaching materials students are more able to learn independently according to the activities in these teaching materials. The purpose of this research is to design the instructional materials based on inquiry, to find out the design of the inquiry-based teaching materials and the value of validity. Inquiry-based teaching materials can develop students' mindsets so that students can find concepts or materials learned so that students can shape their thinking skills. Type of research used is Research and Development (R & D) The object of this study is teaching materials based on inquiry. Based on data analysis obtained from 2 research. The first is the design of instructional materials based on inquiry. The second, the average value of expert validity with a value of 88 with criteria is very valid. It can be concluded that inquiry-based teaching materials have high scores with very valid categories for use in teaching physics class X SMA

Abstract

Laboratory activities as a means of supporting physics learning are often limited by several things such as time constraints, security, the availability of tools and abstract subject matter. Kinetic Gas theory is one of the concept of physics that is abstract. One of the media that can be used to visualize abstract physics subject matter is virtual laboratory. The purpose of research is to determine the effect of the use of Virtual laboratory assisted LKPD in Discovery learning model to the achievement of physics competence of students of grade XI SMA Negeri 5 Padang. The type of research used is quasi experiment with posttest only control group design. The population in research is all students of grade XI SMA Negeri 5 Padang academic year 2017/2018. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling technique. Based on data analysis, for there are three result of research : 1) the average value of physics learning result in attitude competence has continuous improvement, 2) the average value of learning result physics in both grade samples 79.44 and 73.99 for knowledge competence; 3) average physics learning outcomes in both sample gradees 85.45 and 81.58 for skill competencies. From t test, thitung> ttable is obtained so that alternative hypothesis is accepted for knowledge competence, while for skill competence from t test, it is obtained thitung> ttable so that alternative hypothesis is accepted.

Abstract

Textbook lessons are one of the keys to the success and success of the implementation of curriculum 2013. Textbook lesson is one of the learning media used by teachers and students in the learning process. The material in the textbook of the lesson must be in accordance with the curriculum objectives and the material in the textbook should have local content material integrated into the textbook of the lesson. One way to judge a textbook is to analyze the textbook of the lesson. This study aims to determine the level of kissing objectives of the curriculum in science textbooks SMP / MTs grade VII semester 2 and to determine the level of conformity of scientific materials in textbook science lesson SMP / MTs class VII semester 2 with Tsunami material. There are six aspects that are assessed in terms of conformity with the curriculum that is conformity with SKL, KI, KD, scientific approach, authentic assessment and local content. Then there are three aspects that are assessed to see the appropriateness of science materials with Tsunami material is from aspects of factual, conceptual and procedural knowledge.The research type is descriptive research with qualitative approach. The sample of the data in this study was taken with the technique of Sampling Purposive, obtained textbook of science lesson of SMP / MTs VII class 2nd semester published by Kemendikbud revised edition year 2017 and textbook of science lesson of SMP / MTs class VII semester 2 endorsed by Erlangga as sample in research. The data in this study using statistical data and techniques.The findings of this study indicate that the level of kissing objectives of the curriculum of science textbooks published by Kemendikbud revised edition of 2017 is 71.2% with sufficient category and the suitability level of curriculum goals in textbooks published by Erlangga is 80.2% corresponding. Then the level of conformity of science materials in textbook science lesson of SMP / MTs class VII semester 2 with Tsunami material is 32,8% with inappropriate category.Keyword : Textbook, Analysis of conformity of curriculum objectives, Analysis of conformity of IPA materials with Tsunami materials.

Abstract

This research aim to generate a LKM in nuclear physics course. Laboratory activities is one form of learning that allows students to get learning experience through scientific proccess. Observations made show that in the physics department, in the nuclear physics course there is no laboratory activities yet because of the limitations of tools and materials. Virtual laboratpry activities is a recommended solution based on this situation and some related research before. As a form of learning, laboratory activities require teaching materials to support these activities. Research that conducted is a type of research Research and Development. The research procedure is carried out the ADDIE development research model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The developed product is validated by the physics lecturer as an expert, and practicality is done by the physics lecturer and student. Based on the results of research that has been done, it is found that the LKM to support the virtual lab activities on radioactive decay topic has a validity value of 92.31 with category very valid, practicality value by lecturers 86.87 with category very practical and practicality value by students 87.73 with category very practical.

Abstract

Physics learning in 2013 curriculum demands students to apply the spiritual attitudes of competence. For this reason, physics teaching material should support the achievement of core competence especially the spiritual competence. But the real condition physics teaching material in schools didn’t include the spiritual intelligence content yet. Solution of this problem is to develop of physics teaching material that contain content value of spiritual intelligence. The purpose of this research is to produce physics teaching material with spiritual intelligence content on two dimensional motion and Newton’s laws of motion that has both practice and effective criteria. This research can be included into research and development (R&D) type. The development model in research was Sugiyono’s development model. This development model consists of ten stages, but in this research only use six stages, namely potential and problem, data collection, product design, design validation, design revision, and poduct testing. The object of research was physics teaching material with spiritual intelligence content. The instruments that used in research were practicality assessment sheet, the learning result sheet, and spiritual attitude assessment sheet. The data analysis technique were descriptive statistical analysis and comparative test of one group of sample. Based on data analysis can be presented two results of this reseacrh. First, the use physics teaching material with spiritual intelligence content is practice according to physics teachers and learners with average value were 85.70 and 82.49 respectively. Second, the use physics teaching material with spiritual intelligence content is effective in scientific approach to improve the knowledge and spiritual attitudes competences of learners.

Abstract

 Based on the observations, data from student's response shows to the nuclear physics lecture is that the nuclear physics material is an abstract material so it needs visualization in the learning. The facts found that in the learning process of nuclear physics material there is no virtual laboratory activities yet. The virtual laboratory is needed by the students in visualizing the abstract material of nuclear physics. This research is developing a student’s worksheet on the radioactivity material to support the activity of virtual laboratory applying PhET simulation. This study aims to see the advisability of validity and practicality of the student’s worksheet products developed. Research type is research and development (R & D) by applying the ADDIE model with stage analyze, design, development, implementation and evaluation. Using the research instrument with the form of validation and practicality questionnaire are obtained data of the average value of student’s worksheet validation is 91  with the category is very valid and the average value of student’s worksheet practice is 88  for lecturers and 89  for students with category very practice. The results of this study indicate that the student’s worksheet developed are valid and practical for use in supporting virtual lab activities.   Keywords : LKM, virtual laboratory , Physics Education Technology

Abstract

The science learning in curiculum, 2013, developed as integrative science. Wherever integrated by physic, biology, and chemistry subject. The real conditions in school that the integrated sciences subject is low. One solution can be done is to apply the integrated science text book sequenced model wich theme adaptation system of human body at temperature. The purpose of study is to investigate the influence of thect booj sequenced Model. Theme adaptation system of human body at temperature toward learning outcomes of students in SMPN 8 Padang.The type of this strudy is Quasi experiment with design Rendomize control-Group design. The population of this study are all of students grade VII in SMPN 8 Padang listed in the school on 2017/2018. Sampling of this study is purposive sampling, the sample in this study are grad VII A as experiment class and grade VIIB as control class all total 64 students. The instrument of study are asheet of learning out comes to assess the aspect of knowledge and asheet of performance to assess the aspect of skill. The data of this study were analysed by using analysist descriptive, hypotesis test, simple linear regression and correlation test.  On the level of real on 0,05 for both aspect. The result of study has be gotten the data knowledge and skills. Result of data analysist that the Text book integrated science subject sequenced model theme adaptation system of human body at temperature give a meaningful effect on learning outcomes onknowladge aspect and skill aspect grad VII on the level of trust 95% the effect of outcomes Skill  student is 17% and 72% affected by other factor.

Abstract

This research is aimed to design problem-oriented teaching materials to improving  students’ Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). Skills of HOTS include analyze (C4), evaluate (C5), and creativity (C6) which can be trained with problem-oriented learning. This type of research is research and development (R & D) with ADDIE’s model that is limited until third stages are :1) analysis, 2) design, 3) development. The subjects of this researchare five lecturers of Physics Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences as a validator, three teachers of Physics in SMAN 16 Padang as practitioners, and one class of X MIA students in SMAN 16 Padang for product test. Instruments used consisted of the validity and practicality of teaching materials that have been prepared. The result of this research is the result of valid and practical teaching materials, with the percentage of validity is 82,74% are on very valid criteria, practically according to the teacher with the percentage  88,61% are on very practical criteria, and practically of students’ re sponse with percentage 87, 24% are on very practical criteria.

Abstract

Experiment is important to support good learning outcomes of students. However, the application of the experiment can’t be done well in school. This problem can be solved by solution is to apply the virtual laboratory student worksheet in scientific approach. Application of laboratory virtual student worksheet in scientific approach is expected to support students to learn actively so that it can improve the learning outcomes of students. This study has an aim to investigate the influence of virtual laboratory student worksheet with in scientific approach toward study outcomes of students. Quasi eksperiment is a type of study used in this research with randomized control group only design. This study has a population is all of students SMA N 14 Padang class XI the total number of 163 students. Sample takens by using purposive sampling technique. This study has several instruments consist of written test for knowledge aspect, observation sheet for attitude aspect and performance assessment sheet for skills aspect. Research data were analyzed by descriptive statistic, normality test and homogeneity test and mean comparison test. Can be stated from the data analisis the results of this investigation is the applied virtual laboratory student worksheet in scientific approach has given significant effect on physics learning outcomes of students on knowledge aspect, attitude aspect and skills aspect in class XI in SMA N 14 Padang at the siginificant level of 0.05.
