Abstract

Saving is a good habit when it comes to financial arrangements, including for college students. The rapid development of sharia economy makes the emergence of various Islamic banking products for this saving activity. This is of course beneficial for students who should have started making financial arrangements.  Although the interest in saving is still lacking, the use of Islamic bank products is quite profitable for their future. The purpose of the study was to analyze the factors that influence students' interest in saving in Islamic banking.  Linear regression is an analysis technique with hypothesis testing to support the conclusions on RStudio. The results of analysis show that the direct impact between religiosity and knowledge of the social environment has a significant effect simultaneously, although religiosity cannot be a predictor of partial saving interest. While the results of the track analysis showed that social environment was able to be a mediator for religious relationships to saving interests, but not for knowledge relationships towards student saving interests in Islamic banking.

Abstract

The understanding of the philosophy of reality can vary from individual to individual. This is due to the different backgrounds, interests, approaches, and points of view that each person has about the subject. The philosophy of the nature of reality involves complex and abstract philosophical questions that can be interpreted and understood in different ways by different people. The aim of this study is to discuss the philosophy of reality as a journey towards a deeper understanding of science. This study is a qualitative descriptive study based on literature. The results of this research suggest that the journey towards a deeper understanding of reality involves an understanding of the nature of science itself, how science is acquired, and how science depicts reality. An in-depth understanding of reality can be gained by studying the history of philosophy, studying philosophical currents, reading classical and contemporary philosopher texts, engaging in discussions and debates, thinking critically and analyzing arguments, researching related disciplines, asking questions, and staying open.

Abstract

The era of globalization encourages countries to integrate with other countries to fulfil domestic needs at lower prices and encourages the export of domestic products. When the countries conclude the Economic integration, besides of effect of the increment in international trade, there is also the effect of increasing FDI inflows which are called investment creation, which is the increment of FDI from extra-regional countries. Since Indonesia ratified ACFTA and the tariff between Indonesia and China became 0 tariffs in 2010, it raises questions about whether Indonesia had the investment creation from economic integration with China and what factors have influenced FDI flows in Indonesia since the ACFTA. This study attempts to answer this question using descriptive analysis and an econometric approach. The econometric approach in this study uses the gravity method by including panel data from 91 countries over a period of 13 years. The econometric approach gives the result that extra-regional countries have a significant negative effect on FDI inflows in Indonesia which makes Indonesia still needs to implement policies to attract FDI inflows from extra-regional.

As a result, the main obstacle is accessibility which is not yet feasible and there has been no optimal effort from the government. Factors supporting road access to tourist attractions are not sufficient and this causes a lack of public awareness of the importance of developing tourism.
