This study aims to describe the original badong procession, describe the badong of the Toraja people in Kendary City, and analyze change in badong and the causes of changes in badong among Toraja people in Kendari city. of functionalism using the ethnographic method. The result of this indicicate that in the funeral procession the ma’badong ritual is carried out. This ritual usually carried aot as form of appreciation for people who have died by chanting badong poems containing an expression of lamentation, prayers and biographies of people who have returned to puang daring their life until they die. The procces of ma’badong carried out ini Kendary City is not much different from badong in Toraja because it does not change the value contained in the ritual. The only difference is the approval or agreement of the church and family so that the ritual is very rarely carried out. This happens because the family of the deceased has embraced Christianity and no longer embraces all todo lo (belief of the ancestors) so that ritual can be carried out if it has received approval from the family and the church. However, if one of them does not agree, then the ritual is not carried out. In addition, the change from badong did not experience significant changes in Kendary city because the duration of the in Maradona was not too long compared to badong in Toraja. Likewise, the uniform used by parading in Kendari city is not restricted/free compared to the pa’badong in Toraja who always wears a uniform equipped with a hat. this due to the economic factor of the deceased’s family which is not sufficient to finance all the needs of badong. Indeed, badong can be chanted at night after the consolation service after obtaining approval from family and church.

The purpose of this study was to find out and describe the traditional cattle farming system and the cattle profit-sharing system in Amoito Siama Village. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The results of this study indicate that the traditional cattle raising system in Amoito Siama Village begins with the preparation process for raising cattle, followed by the treatment process starting from feeding the cattle, giving the cattle water, and preparing the stables for the cattle. Furthermore, the profit-sharing system between the cow owner and the cattle keeper starts with building a relationship between the cow owner and the cow keeper to then enter into a profit-sharing agreement in which they agree with each other. There are two methods for the profit-sharing system in Amoito Siama Village, namely by sharing livestock or by paying wages.

This research aims to know and describe the Church and Rambu Solo' Ritual in Toraja culture from the perspective of the church outside the Toraja Church towards the implementation of the ritual itself, especially among the Toraja people. This research uses Radcliffe-Brown's (1987) structuralism theory. The selection of informants in this study used purposive sampling technique, while the data collection techniques used in this study used observation and in-depth interviews. The results show the views of churches outside the Toraja Church towards the implementation of the rambu solo' ritual in Tana Toraja, where the Kibaid Church and the Pentecostal Church in Indonesia (GpdI) view the rambu solo' ritual as (1) a ritual that is not in line with God's word and violates church regulations, (2) a ritual that can cause debt burden, (3) does not describe the real atmosphere of grief. The existence of this view raises implications for the two churches themselves, namely in its application it can save costs, does not violate God's word, and does not require a lot of time.

The purpose of this research is to describe the children of beggars in Kendari City, and to find out and describe the causes of children becoming beggars in Kendari City. The theory used in this study is Oscar Lewi's (1988) cultural theory, that poverty that occurs in society is not solely due to the economy, but rather the existence of deficiencies in one's culture and psychology so as to form a culture that is passed down from generation to generation through socialization. The method used in this qualitative descriptive research is trying to reveal why there are still many child beggars in Kendari City who take to the streets to beg, and how child beggars socialize with their families and neighbors. Data collection techniques were carried out in several ways, namely by using observation methods and in-depth interviews which aim to obtain accurate data, observation of participation by observing child beggars and their relationships with other beggars and their families. Based on the research results obtained in this study, the factors that cause the existence of these child beggars are parents' income that is not sufficient to meet their needs, jobs that are easy to do and strategic location selection. In addition, there is family socialization and peer socialization.

This research aims to know and describe the female Pamong Praja Police Unit in carrying out their public duties and roles, as well as to understand and describe the female Pamong Praja Police Unit in carrying out their domestic duties and roles, especially in Kendari City. The results showed that female Satpol PP members or Srikandi Pol PP Kendari City have dual roles. The dual roles in question are public roles and domestic roles. In carrying out their public role, Srikandi Pol PP has various experiences in serving in the field, especially when carrying out the process of controlling street vendors. During the curbing process, they often get cursed and even violence. However, this does not make them give up or get tired of their work. This becomes a reference for them to be better at work and still prioritize the humanist side. Srikandi Pol PP also carries out their domestic duties and roles, namely as housewives. The domestic roles undertaken by Srikandi Pol PP are in the form of household chores such as cooking, taking care of children, cleaning the house, washing, ironing and taking care of plants.
