Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the feasibility of the Smart Village program as the government's flagship program in strengthening the village economy, as well as assessing the program's achievements based on the criteria set by the Ministry of Villages PDTT and the Lampung Provincial Government. It is hoped that this research can contribute to the development of more effective and sustainable village development policies in Indonesia.c Smart villages are significantly influenced by a smart economy and a smart society, with both having a strong positive impact. This means that improvements in the economy and the quality of smart communities will increase the smart village index. In addition, smart mobility also has a positive effect but with a lower level of significance. However, the variables smart government and smart life do not have a significant influence on smart villages. Thus, the main focus for improving smart villages should be directed at improving the economy, community quality and mobility.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the effect of service quality, facilities, price, and accessibility on the loyalty of credit guarantee partners on the Sumatra island. The research method is quantitative, using descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression. Primary data was obtained through questionnaires distributed to 135 credit guarantee partners, while secondary data was obtained from various sources relevant to the research. The results of the multiple regression analysis show that the four variables simultaneously have a significant effect on partner loyalty. However, only facilities and prices partially have a positive and significant effect. Accessibility had a significant negative effect, while service quality had no significant effect. These findings suggest that improved facilities and competitive pricing are key to increasing guarantor partner loyalty. This research has important implications for bonding companies in formulating strategies to maintain and increase partner loyalty.

Abstract

The sustainable rural livelihoods approach is one of the new analytical approaches in the arena of agribusiness development and is considered much in recent years to achieve rural livelihoods and poverty reduction. This study aimed to explore the impact of agribusiness development on rural livelihoods in Bamenda II Municipality, Cameroon. The study utilized a descriptive research design. The study used a survey method for data collection. Data was collected from individual farmers in Bamenda II municipality. The self-administered questionnaire method was used to collect data from the participants. Simple random sampling methods were used, and the sample size of 99 participants was determined using Cochran Fomulae. Descriptive statistics were used for data analysis using SPSS version 21. The findings revealed that there is a positive and statistically significant relationship between agricultural production and rural livelihoods. A one-unit increase in agricultural production is associated with a 0.765-unit increase in rural livelihoods, while a one-unit increase in market access is associated with a 0.517-unit increase in rural livelihoods. The positive relationship between market access and rural livelihoods is statistically significant at the 1% level. However, the relationship between employment creation and rural livelihoods is positive but statistically insignificant. A one-unit increase in employment creation is associated with a 0.038-unit increase in rural livelihoods, but the relationship is not statistically significant at the 10% level. To conclude, these findings have important implications for policymakers and development practitioners working to enhance the well-being of rural communities. Investing in agricultural productivity, as well as improving market access and infrastructure, can be effective strategies for promoting sustainable rural livelihoods and reducing poverty

Abstract

ABSTRACT Good corporate governance also has a good impact as a consideration for investment decisions for investors. The study aims to find empirical evidence of the role of earnings quality as a mediator between corporate governance(GCG) and stock liquidity, with samples of large-capitalization companies and small and medium-capitalizationcompanies. The results of the study prove that corporate governance has a direct effect on stock liquidity, corporate governance has an effect on profit quality both measured by accrual quality and profit predictability, profit qualitymeasured by accrual quality does not affect stock liquidity, but measured by profit predictability has an effect andcorporate governance mediated by profit quality measured by accrual quality has an effect on stock liquidity, butmeasured by profit predictability indirectly cannot provide an effect. The conclusion that corporate governance (GCG) is indirectly mediated by earnings quality is useful for investors, especially in controlling managers to reduce the occurrence of agency problems and reduce the high level ofrisk in investing, which will ultimately increase stock liquidity in the capital market

Abstract

This study examines how Indonesian listed companies adjust capital structure in response to carbon risk using Refinitiv Eikon data from 2015-2021. The Carbon Emissions Index is the independent variable, with Debt to Assets (DTA) and Equity to Assets (ETA) as dependent variables. A panel data model is employed, with a Fixed Effects Model for DTA and a Random Effects Model for ETA. Results indicate carbon emission risk positively moderates speed adjustment of capital structure which proxied by DTA and negatively moderates of the ETA, with adjusted R-squared values of 90.74% and 23.50%, respectively. However, carbon emission risk doesn't significantly affect overall capital structure. The DTA model better explains its influence of moderating effect of carbon emission on the speed of capital structure adjustment. Companies with higher carbon risk tend to have more debt and less equity, adjusting capital structure quickly in response to changes.

Abstract

This study aims to describe efforts that can be made so that the agricultural sector is able to utilize technology and agricultural digitalization offered by the Industrial Revolution 4.0, so as to reduce farmer poverty in Indonesia. This research method uses a quantitative approach. The data used are secondary data, sourced from books, journals, documentation or publications from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), the Ministry of Agriculture, and publications from other institutions relevant to this study. The data analysis used is a systematic literature review. The results of this study indicate that the use of technology in the agricultural sector is still minimal. Furthermore, by utilizing the industrial revolution, there are several steps that can be taken to prepare farmers to welcome Indonesia Emas 2045, including: improving the linkage between farmer groups and agro-industry; increasing incentives for research and development activities in the agricultural sector; developing agricultural products that focus on superior commodities; resolving fertilizer issues; building synergy with banks and other financial institutions; encouraging the use of mobile phones or smartphones in agricultural production; and intensifying the performance of technology and information service providers.

Abstract

The study examines the mediating effect of brand reputation on the relationship between crisis management factors such as stakeholder engagement, legal and ethical considerations, response coordination, and training and education, and guest satisfaction in the Nigerian hospitality industry. The primary data collection involved 195 structured questionnaires designed for hoteliers from the selected Hotels in Oyo State. Data analysis was performed with the aid of Path Analysis Structural Equation Modelling (PA-SEM) using STATA version 15. The results confirm that stakeholder engagement, legal and ethical considerations, response coordination, training and education, and brand reputation all have significant direct effects on guest satisfaction. Additionally, the study highlights the partial mediating effect of brand reputation on the relationship between crisis management parameters and guest satisfaction. This implies that while crisis management practices directly enhance guest experiences, the positive impact is further reinforced when a strong brand reputation is maintained. A well-managed brand identity, particularly during crises, fosters customer trust and loyalty, ultimately leading to higher guest satisfaction. Subsequently, the study provides practical recommendations for hospitality businesses to enhance resilience, improve guest experiences, and maintain competitive advantage in the face of crises.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of competency and certification on work productivity, with work motivation as a mediating variable. Focusing on Police Sector Chiefs in the Bangka Belitung Islands Regional Police, it uses a quantitative approach with SEM-PLS and bootstrapping for data analysis. Findings show that both competency and certification significantly improve productivity, with motivation strengthening this relationship. The study highlights the importance of enhancing professional capacity through training and certification, especially when supported by strong motivation. Its theoretical contribution lies in integrating competency, certification, and motivation in one model, offering a fresh perspective on police HR development. The focus on Police Sector Chiefs presents a novel context, rarely explored in previous research. However, the study is limited to a specific region and does not include other influencing factors like organizational culture. Despite this, it provides valuable insights for developing more effective and adaptive HR policies in the police force.
