Abstract

Job performance is one of the most frequently researched phenomena in Human Resource Management (HRM) literature, job insecurity and subjective wellbeing being important managerial practices to research. However, the relationship between these practices has received little attention in the literature. Therefore, this study aims to examine the effect of job insecurity on job performance subjective wellbeing as a mediating variable. This research is a causal research. The sampling technique was taken using total sampling where the number of samples was the same as the population of 41 people. Data collection using a questionnaire with a Likert scale. The analysis technique used is SEM using SmartPLS4 analysis. The results of data processing. The results showed that job insecurity has a negative and significant effect on job performance through subjective wellbeing.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine: (1) The effect of Person Job Fit on Employee Engagement in employees of PT Bank Nagari Pasar Raya Branch, Padang City, (2) The effect of Job Satisfaction on Employee Engagement in employees of PT Bank Nagari Pasar Raya Branch, Padang City, (3) The effect of Person Job Fit on Job Satisfcation in employees of PT Bank Nagari Pasar Raya Branch, Padang City, (4) The effect of Person Job Fit on Employee Engagement mediated by Job Satisfaction in employees of PT Bank Nagari Pasar Raya Branch, Padang City. This form of research is quantitative research. The sampling technique was a total sampling technique with 43 respondents sampled for this study. Direct questionnaire distribution was used to collect data, and PLS tools were used for data processing in this study. The results of this study indicate that: (1) Person Job Fit has a positive and significant effect on Employee Engagement in employees of PT Bank Nagari Pasar Raya Branch, Padang City, (2) Job Satisfcation has a positive and significant effect on Employee Engagement in employees of PT Bank Nagari Pasar Raya Branch, Padang City, (3) Person Job Fit has a positive and significant effect on Job Satisfaction in employees of PT Bank Nagari Pasar Raya Branch, Padang City, (4) Person Job Fit has a positive and insignificant effect on Employee Engagement mediated by Job Satisfaction in employees of PT Bank Nagari Pasar Raya Branch, Padang City.

Abstract

Digitalization and performance efficiency are currently enforced in all fields, including in higher education. Universitas Negeri Padang as one of the universities in Indonesia also does not stop doing digital transformation and efficiency. In addition to the implementation of e-learning and hybrid lectures, UNP has just released the MyUNP application and the SIMTA application. This requires users to quickly adapt to this new application. On the other hand, lecturers and education personnel are also still trying to adapt to previously released applications such as sister, e-performance, rumah gadang, and so on. This study aims to see how the level of stress caused by technology or known as technostress on lecturers and education personnel then will also see how it affects job satisfaction. This study had 37 respondents and was analyzed using SPSS and SEM-PLS analysis tools. Conducted at the end of the year which is a deadline for various tasks and workloads, this time was chosen to be able to more accurately record the level of technostress felt by respondents. The results of this study show that three dimensions of technostress have a negative effect on job satisfaction but there are two dimensions of technostress that can have a positive effect on job satisfaction. Further discussion of the results and suggestions for future research are discussed.

Abstract

This study aims to examine: (1) the effect of job stress on turnover intention (2) the effect of job stress on turnover intention moderated by emotional intelligence. This research is a causal research. The population of this study were Rs nurses at Dr. Drs. M. Hatta Bukittinggi Brain Hospital. The number of samples used was the total population of 136 people taken using proportional random sampling. Data collection using a questionnaire with a Likert Scale. The analysis technique used through SmartPLS 4 software. The results of data processing in this study indicate that: (1) Work stress has a positive and significant effect on Turnover Intention in Rs nurses at Dr. Drs. M. Hatta Bukittinggi Brain Hospital. (2) Emotional intelligence is able to moderate the influence between work stress on turnover intention.

Abstract

This study aims to examine: (1) The effect of the physical work environment on employee loyalty, (2) The effect of the physical work environment on job satisfaction, (3) The effect of job satisfaction on employee loyalty, and (4) The effect of the physical work environment on employee loyalty through job satisfaction as a mediating variable at PT Bank Nagari Headquarters in West Sumatra. This research is causal in nature. The population in this study consisted of 153 employees who worked at Bank Nagari Head Office. The study used the total sampling method for sampling. Data were collected through a questionnaire using a Likert Scale as a measuring tool. Data analysis was carried out with the help of SmartPLS 4 software. The results of data analysis in this study indicate that: (1) The physical work environment has a positive and significant effect on employee loyalty in employees of Bank Nagari West Sumatra Head Office (2) The physical work environment has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction in employees of Bank Nagari West Sumatra Head Office (3) Job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee loyalty in employees of Bank Nagari West Sumatra Head Office (4) The physical work environment has a positive and significant effect on employee loyalty through job satisfaction as a mediating variable in employees of Bank Nagari West Sumatra Head Office.

Abstract

This study aims to examine: (1) the influence of Work-Family Conflict on Job Satisfaction, (2) the influence of Work-Family Conflict on Job Burnout, (3) the influence of Job Burnout on Job Satisfaction, and (4) the influence of Work-Family Conflict on Job Satisfaction mediated by Job Burnout. This research is a causal study with a population of 61 employees at Bank Tabungan Negara in Padang City, using a total sampling method. Data analysis was conducted using SmartPLS4 software. The findings of the analysis indicate that: (1) Work-Family Conflict has a negative and significant effect on Job Satisfaction among employees of Bank Tabungan Negara in Padang City, (2) Work-Family Conflict has a positive and significant effect on Job Burnout among employees of Bank Tabungan Negara in Padang City, (3) Job Burnout has a negative and significant effect on Job Satisfaction among employees of Bank Tabungan Negara in Padang City, and (4) Job Burnout mediates the effect of Work-Family Conflict on Job Satisfaction among employees of Bank Tabungan Negara in Padang City.

Abstract

Using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) approach, this study seeks to ascertain how organizational citizenship behavior is impacted by workplace spirituality among Perumda Air Minum Tirta Sago Payakumbuh City employees, as well as the mediating function of organizational commitment. Permanent employees of Perumda Air Minum Tirta Sago Payakumbuh City make up the research population in this quantitative, explanatory study. Total sampling is the sampling technique employed, meaning that 67 permanent employees make up the study's sample size. A Likert scale questionnaire was used to gather data, and the findings indicated that workplace spirituality had a positive and significant impact on organizational citizenship behavior. Additionally, it was discovered that the association between workplace spirituality and organizational citizenship behavior was significantly mediated by organizational commitment. These results advance our knowledge of the significance of organizational commitment and workplace spirituality in enhancing organizational citizenship behavior among Perumda Air Minum Tirta Sago Payakumbuh City employees.

Abstract

A change in work patterns that want to be more flexible due to technological developments makes people want to work independently. However, by working independently, they have challenges such as lack of job security and income uncertainty. So that these conditions require independent workers to always have good psychological well-being and social behavior in order to survive the pressure of work. Therefore, this study discusses the effect of mindfulness at work on prosocial behavior mediated by job satisfaction. In this study using 255 respondents who are independent workers who were then processed using the SmartPLS 4 application: 1) Mindfulness has a positive and significant effect on Prosocial Behavior, 2) Mindfulness has a positive and significant effect on Job Satisfaction, 3) Job Satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on Prosocial Behavior, and 4) Job Satisfaction mediates positively and significantly the effect of Mindfulness on Prosocial Behavior.

Abstract

Primary objective of this research is to evaluate (1) the impact of psychological capital on career satisfaction among nurses at MADINA Hospital. 2) The impact of psychological capital on the level of work engagement among nurses at MADINA Hospital. (3) The impact of work engagement on the perception of career satisfaction among nurses at MADINA Hospital. (4)The mediating variable of work engagement in the relationship between psychological capital and career satisfaction among nurses at MADINA Hospital. The data analysis method employed in this study was SEM analysis, which was conducted using the Smart PLS 4 application. The total sampling technique was employed to select 73 respondents for the study, which corresponds to quantitative descriptive research.. The findings of the research are as follows: (1) nurses at MADINA Hospital experience a substantial impact of psychological capital on their career satisfaction. (2) The work engagement of nurses at MADINA Hospital is significantly influenced by psychological capital. (3) There is no substantial correlation between career satisfaction and work engagement among nurses at MADINA Hospital. (4) Work engagement serves as a mediating variable, and psychological capital does not have a notable impact on career satisfaction among nurses at MADINA Hospital.

Abstract

In organizational behavior, organizational commitment is crucial. Every person who is dedicated to themselves wants to keep helping the company succeed. According to this study, the primary elements that boost an individual's commitment to their company are work-life balance and job satisfaction. ThusThe goal of this research is to ascertain how work-life balance and organizational commitment are mediated by job satisfaction. The objects in this study were 113 nurses from dr. Reksodiwiryo Military Hospital, who were selected based on cluster proportional random sampling technique and using questionnaire to gather data. This research employed a quantitative methodology and version 4.1.1.2 of SMARTPLS was used to evaluate the data. The findings show that job satisfaction drives organizational commitment, Organizational commitment is influenced by work-life balance, and the connection among work-life balance and organizational commitment can be mediated by job satisfaction.
