Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of Instagram as a business communication medium in increasing the sales of VOI Churros, an MSME in Pematangsiantar City. The findings reveal that VOI Churros effectively utilizes Instagram features such as feeds, Reels, Stories, Highlights, collaborations with micro-influencers, and Instagram Insights. These strategies enhance brand visibility, expand audience reach, and foster strong customer interactions. Engaging visual content and creative promotions successfully attract consumer interest, while analytical tools optimize marketing campaigns. The use of Instagram has proven to positively impact sales, with up to a 20% increase in certain promotional campaigns. Moreover, seamless communication with customers through this platform builds loyalty and expands the market reach, even beyond Pematangsiantar. The effectiveness of this strategy is not solely determined by the platform itself but also supported by the quality of products and services provided. This study concludes that Instagram is an efficient marketing tool for VOI Churros to reach a wider market, improve customer engagement, and significantly drive sales growth. Consistent and well-planned strategies are crucial to maintaining this success in the future.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the efficiency of modern communication systems in transaction activities at Warkop Berkah, a micro-enterprise that has adopted digital technology. The main focus of the research is the implementation of modern communication systems, such as cashless payments via digital wallets, QR codes, and Point-of-Sale (POS) applications, which aim to improve operational efficiency, customer experience, and business competitiveness. This research also identifies various challenges faced in implementing this technology, including the need for employee training, implementation costs, and adaptation by customers who are still accustomed to conventional systems. The research results show that modern communication systems have a significant impact in increasing operational efficiency at Warkop Berkah. Transaction processes become faster, the risk of calculation errors is reduced, and financial transparency increases. In addition, this technology provides a better customer experience by offering convenience, security and comfort, especially for the younger generation who are more familiar with technology. However, technology adoption also faces obstacles, such as dependence on stable internet connections, resistance from certain customers, and technical challenges in system maintenance. To overcome this challenge, the research recommends several strategies, including intensive training for employees, customer education, diversification of payment methods, and improving technological infrastructure. Real-time monitoring of transaction data is also proposed as a step to optimize operational performance and maximize customer experience. By implementing the right strategy, Warkop Berkah can utilize modern communication systems to support the sustainability and competitiveness of its business. This research contributes to understanding the importance of digitalization in micro and small businesses (MSMEs) in facing the challenges of the digital era. In addition, this study provides practical insights for micro business owners who want to adopt modern technology to increase efficiency and business growth amidst increasingly fierce competition.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the level of financial performance of the North Sumatra government. The example used is the Budget Realization Report of North Sumatra Province 2019-2022. The analysis method uses five types of indicators, namely: regional financial independence ratio, effectiveness ratio, growth ratio, harmony ratio, and fiscal decentralization ratio. The data collection method is done by taking data from the BPS (Central Bureau of Statistics) website of North Sumatra. The results showed that the ratio of regional financial independence in the financial statements of North Sumatra province has a delegative pattern, while the effectiveness ratio is in the ineffective area. Other results show that the growth ratio is fluctuating, the harmony ratio is in an unbalanced condition, and the fiscal decentralization ratio is in the high category.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of relocating Indonesia's capital city from Jakarta to East Kalimantan on the local economy, workforce, and associated challenges. Using qualitative methods and descriptive analysis, the findings reveal positive effects such as increased investments and economic growth driven by new infrastructure and heightened economic activity in property, hospitality, and transportation sectors. However, challenges like rising property prices, gentrification, and social changes demand sustainable spatial planning and effective social impact management. Proposed mitigation strategies include thorough planning, social infrastructure development, local economic empowerment, and regular impact monitoring. The capital relocation has the potential to boost local economic growth if managed effectively.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation, stages, and obstacles in public policies issued by the Kutai Kartanegara Regency government to protect the social environment of the community, through Regent Regulation Number 22 of 2022 concerning Smoke-Free Areas (KTR). This policy aims to reduce exposure to cigarette smoke in public places, in order to improve public health. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative, with data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation. The focus of this study is on policy analysis, socialization, the establishment of special smoking areas, controlling tobacco advertising, as well as law enforcement and the role of the community. The results of the study indicate that there are challenges in the implementation of the KTR Perbup, including low public awareness, limited resources, and lack of coordination between related parties. This study suggests the need for expanded socialization, strengthening the role of the community, consistent law enforcement, and closer collaboration between government, industry, academics, the community, and the media. With pentahelix synergy, it is hoped that the KTR policy can be more effective in creating a healthier and smoke-free environment in Kutai Kartanegara.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the level of break event point multi product and the amount of sales to achieve the planned profit level using linear programming simplex method. From secondary data provided by CV MD Company located in Bantul D.I Yogyakarta. The results of the study indicated that to achieve the break event point multi product the amount of demand was for product X5 (stool copis M product) with a contribution margin value of Rp. 168,500,000.00. The amount of demand if the company planed  a profit of Rp. 20,000,000.00 then the level of demand for product X5 was 1,448 units.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the pension fund insurance service system at the Regional Secretariat of North Sumatra Province (Setda Provsu) which is managed by PT TASPEN Medan Branch. The main focus of this research is to determine the extent of service quality, procedures and obstacles in the process of managing pension fund claims. The research method used is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach, through interviews and direct observation of employees and beneficiaries. The research results show that PT TASPEN has implemented several digital-based service innovations, such as the Taspen Mobile application, but there are still obstacles in disseminating information and understanding procedures by participants. In addition, it was found that claims processing times were sometimes delayed due to insufficient completeness of the files. This research's recommendations include increasing outreach to pension fund participants and optimizing technology-based service systems in order to increase satisfaction and service efficiency

Abstract

An abstranct The lack of knowledge about investing with crypto makes many investors experience losses for investors, therefore this study aims to determine the effect of transaction security, ease of transactions and risk perception on crypto investment decisions among young people in Tangerang City. By using a sample of 200 people, collecting data through a questionnaire of 28 statements and using a 7-alternative answer liekrt scale and data analysis techniques using Smart PLS 4.0. The results of data analysis show that there is an influence between transaction convenience and risk perception on crypto investment decisions, while transaction security has no effect on investment decisions. Investors can assume that the platform or cryptographic technology used is safe and reliable, so transaction security is no longer a major concern for investment decisions. The recommendation in this study is the need to improve and improve the infrastructure of cryptographic transactions, this includes simplifying the transaction process, increasing transaction speed, and providing features that make it easier for users to invest.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how transformational leadership and work environment influence employee performance through job satisfaction at the Kasemen District Office. The performance of an organization will be largely determined by the elements of its employees, therefore, when measuring the performance of an organization, it should be measured in terms of the work performance of the employees themselves. Good performance will be achieved if it is supported by the work abilities and organizational commitment of each employee The method used is a quantitative method with a descriptive Associative type. The population and sample used were 83 Non ASN employees at the Kasemen District Office. Associative research is a study that aims to determine the influence or relationship between two or more variables, where the process of taking samples from a population and using questionnaires as the main data collection tool. The data collection technique used a questionnaire to 83 (eighty-three) respondents with Likert scale measurements and using SPSS version 26. The results of the calculation of the direct effects of transformational leadership (X1), work environment (X2), job satisfaction (Z) on employee performance (Y). The results of the calculation of X1 against Y with a p-value of 0.018 <0.05. The results of the calculation of X2 against Y with a p-value of 0.000 <0.05. The results of the calculation of X1 against Z with a p-value of 0.000 <0.05. The result of X2 calculation against Z with p-values ​​0.041 > 0.05. The result of Z calculation against Y with p-values ​​0.149 > 0.05. Transformational leadership (X1) through job satisfaction (Z) on employee performance (Y) p-values ​​0.021 < 0.05 while the work environment (X2) through job satisfaction (Z) on employee performance (Y) p-values ​​0.032 < 0.05 In this study it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between transformational leadership, work environment through job satisfaction on employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Time Budget Pressure (TBP) on audit quality using associative quantitative research methods. The sample consists of external auditors working at Public Accounting Firms (KAP) in the DKI Jakarta area. Data were collected through a survey with an ordinal scale-based questionnaire, and analyzed using statistical methods. The results showed that TBP has a significant positive effect on audit quality, with a T-statistics value of 2.353 and a p-value of 0.019. This finding indicates that TBP, which is optimally implemented, can improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the audit process. Auditors with high skills are able to utilize TBP to prioritize important tasks, increase focus, and find innovative solutions. this study also highlights the potential negative impacts of TBP if time pressure is excessive, such as decreased audit accuracy and depth, and increased stress on auditors. In extreme conditions, TBP can affect communication with clients and the overall quality of audit results. Therefore, a good time management strategy is important to mitigate this risk. This study provides insight into the importance of proper time planning and management to improve audit quality while maintaining auditor work balance.
