Abstract

This study aim This study conceptually examines the impact of market fluctuations on portfolio adjustment strategies within increasingly volatile market conditions. Shifting market dynamics compel investors to review and modify their asset composition regularly to maintain portfolio performance and manage risk. Through a literature-based approach, this study highlights how volatility shapes risk perception, investment preferences, and portfolio adjustment decisions, including diversification, rebalancing, and the use of hedging instruments. The findings indicate that market fluctuations play a crucial role in determining the level of adaptation required in both short-term and long-term investment strategies. The theoretical contribution of this study lies in formulating a conceptual framework that explains the systematic relationship between market dynamics and portfolio adjustment mechanisms, providing a foundation for developing investment strategies that are more responsive to ongoing market changes.

Abstract

The demographic transition in the workforce identifies Generation Z as a crucial cohort with unique work values, prioritizing work-life balance and meaningful work over financial compensation. This study aims to evaluate the influence of work values and the Big Five Personality Traits on retention and deviant workplace behavior among Generation Z employees. Utilizing a qualitative library research method with content analysis, this research synthesizes current academic literature. The findings indicate that misalignment between individual work values and organizational systems triggers high turnover intention. Specifically, the personality dimensions of conscientiousness and agreeableness are proven to strengthen retention, while neuroticism correlates positively with stress and deviant behavior. As a managerial implication, organizations are advised to adopt adaptive HR strategies that support mental health to retain young talent. This study is limited by its reliance on secondary data; therefore, future empirical research is necessary to validate these findings.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the PFmuda Program by Pertamina Foundation in supporting the development and sustainability of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). The research focuses on analyzing the influence of funding, mentoring, training, business networking, and business sustainability on participants’ perceived program benefits. A quantitative approach was employed by distributing questionnaires to 87 PFmuda alumni selected through purposive sampling. The results show that all independent variables have a positive and significant partial effect on the program’s perceived usefulness, with t-values of 4.907 (funding), 3.096 (mentoring), 2.033 (training), 2.178 (business networking), and 2.524 (business sustainability), at a significance level of < 0.05. The simultaneous test also indicates a significant effect, with an F-value of 42.629 (p = 0.000). The model yields a coefficient of determination of adjust R² = 0.708, indicating that 70.8% of the variation in program benefits is explained by the tested variables. These findings confirm that PFmuda contributes to enhancing the entrepreneurial capacity and competitiveness of its alumni, although challenges related to post-program business sustainability remain. The study recommends strengthening post-program support and expanding market access to better ensure long-term MSME sustainability

Firm value is one of the key indicators that reflects a company's success in increasing shareholder wealth. This study aims to provide empirical evidence on the effect of corporate social responsibility (CSR), firm growth, and media exposure on firm value as measured by Price to Book Value (PBV) in consumer non-cyclicals companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2022-2024. The sample was selected using purposive sampling and resulted in 241 panel data observations, which were analyzed using panel regression. The results show that CSR has no significant effect on firm value so the first hypothesis (HI) is rejected, while firm growth and media exposure have a positive and significant effect on firm value so the second (H2) and third (H3) hypotheses are accepted.
