Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of managerial ownership, gender diversity, and intellectual capital on the market value of financial sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period 2021–2024. Market value is used as an indicator that reflects investors' perceptions and expectations of the company's performance and prospects. This study uses a quantitative approach with panel data regression methods. The sample was determined using purposive sampling techniques for financial sector companies that met the data completeness criteria. The data used was secondary data obtained from companies' annual reports and financial reports. Managerial ownership was measured based on the proportion of shares owned by management, gender diversity was measured through the representation of women in the management or board structure, while capital was measured using the Value Added Intellectual Coefficient (VAIC) approach. The results of the study indicate that managerial ownership, gender diversity, and intellectual capital have a positive and significant effect on company market value. These findings emphasize the importance of corporate governance and intangible asset management in increasing the valuation of financial sector companies.

Abstract

Increasingly tight retail competition requires business actors to design effective marketing strategies to influence consumer purchasing decisions. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the influence of promotion, price, and product variety on consumer purchasing decisions at the Yogya Ketanggungan Department Store. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method of 100 respondents selected using a purposive sampling technique, with data collection through a Likert scale questionnaire and analysis using multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS. The results of the study indicate that simultaneously promotion, price, and product variety have a significant effect on purchasing decisions with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.854, which means that 85.4% of the variation in purchasing decisions can be explained by these three variables. Partially, price and product variety are proven to have a significant effect on purchasing decisions, while promotions do not show a significant effect. These findings indicate that local retail consumers tend to be more sensitive to price factors and product variety than promotional activities, so the implication is that retail business actors need to focus more on strategies for competitive pricing and providing a complete product variety to increase consumer purchasing decisions.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effect of recruitment, training, and motivation on employee performance, both partially and simultaneously, at CV. Bakti Pratama Charcoal Briquette Industry, a small and medium-scale enterprise in the charcoal briquette industry in Ungaran City, Central Java. The background of the research is the increase in the number of employees leaving the company and the decline in employee productivity in recent years. The research employed a quantitative approach with a census sampling technique, selecting all 45 employees as respondents. Data were collected using a questionnaire with a 5-point Likert scale, which was validated for reliability and validity. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression analysis. The results revealed that simultaneously, recruitment, training, and motivation have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, contributing 78.6%. Partially, training and motivation have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Motivation was found to be the most dominant factor influencing employee performance. On the other hand, recruitment had no significant partial effect. This proves that although recruitment provides a foundation for a company, long-term employee performance depends more on investment in training and motivation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of working capital management on profitability in companies listed in the IDX30 index during the period 2020–2024. Working capital management is proxied by Working Capital Turnover (WCTO), Cash Turnover (CTO), Accounts Receivable Turnover (ARTO), and Inventory Turnover (ITO), while profitability is proxied by Return on Assets (ROA). The sample consists of 10 companies selected using purposive sampling based on predetermined criteria, resulting in 50 observations obtained from the official website investing.com. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS version 22. The results indicate that Working Capital Turnover (WCTO) and Inventory Turnover (ITO) have a significant negative effect on Return on Assets (ROA), while Cash Turnover (CTO) has a significant positive effect on Return on Assets (ROA). In contrast, Accounts Receivable Turnover (ARTO) does not have a significant effect on Return on Assets (ROA). These findings suggest that efficient working capital management, particularly in terms of cash turnover, contributes positively to company profitability, while inefficiencies in working capital and inventory turnover may reduce profitability.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) in a motorcycle service workshop, focusing on customer interaction and customer relationship maintenance. A descriptive qualitative approach was used, with data collected through observation, interviews, and discussions. The results indicate that customer data management has been implemented adequately; however, it has not been optimally utilized to support continuous communication. Customer interaction is considered moderately effective, as it mainly occurs during the service process and is not consistently maintained afterward. Meanwhile, customer relationship maintenance remains suboptimal due to the absence of systematic follow-up and complaint recording. This study proposes a customer complaint form as a practical solution to improve service quality and strengthen long-term customer relationships.
