Abstract

Events as a catalyst for the revival of tourism after the pandemic are the focus issues in event development in Indonesia. Events are one of the typical tourism activities with a "life experience" that provides a complete experience to tourists who travel with special motivation. The event itself is a sector that is able to provide economic growth and multiplier effect such as job opportunities, improving destination image and growing regional income. However, along with the growth in the level of event organization, negative impacts are also visible, especially on the environmental sector. This research aims to further examine the concept of green event in Get the Fest activities, the extent to which this event can apply the concept, and what are the benefits that can be felt directly or indirectly by the event participants themselves. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method by describing a phenomenon in detail and presenting the data found in detail. The study found that event organizers are starting to take a more environmentally friendly approach by using the green event concept. However, as an emerging trend, the concept of Green Event is wide with different methods of application. The case studied in this research that held in early 2024 is the implementation of green event at the "Get the Fest" event which implements environmentally friendly events through the use of renewable energy.

Abstract

Community empowerment is an important aspect in developing tourist villages. This is because the development of tourist villages uses a lot of resources owned by the community. The community has an important role in supporting the success of tourism village development so that powerless communities need to be empowered to create independence and economic prosperity for the community. This type of research is qualitative research using data collection techniques, namely interviews, documentation, observation, focus group discussions and literature studies. Interviews are a data collection method with both direct and indirect data sources. This study examines tourism potential, the role of the community and how to empower the community. Data sources were obtained from the head of Bayan Village, the head of the tourism awareness group, traditional leaders of Bayan Village and the community in Bayan Village to serve as sources. The village can be used as a tourist attraction so that it can invite tourists to come to the Bayan Tourism Village. The existence of this tourist village can increase income opportunities for the community and reduce unemployment. Empowerment is carried out by providing training to the Bayan village community about tourism so that they can take advantage of the opportunities that exist in the Bayan tourist village and can create their own employment opportunities. Having a tourist village can empower the community in Bayan Village, North Lombok Regency.

Abstract

No matter how great a policy plan or program is, if it is not realized properly and correctly then the program or policy will be in vain. Policy implementation requires policy implementers who are truly honest, have appropriate competence, are highly committed to producing their goals and really pay attention to applicable government regulations. The method used in this research is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach with a total number of 33 people who were determined purposively then the primary and secondary data collected were analyzed using data analysis techniques from Creswell (2016).In this research the author uses the policy implementation model from Donald Van Meter and Carl E. Van Horn (1975) which states that there are six variables that influence the implementation of the policy of eliminating movable state property at Nusa Cendana University, namely; (1) policy standards in the form of regulations regarding the elimination of movable state property at Nusa Cendana University are unable to influence policy targets; (2). the existence of sufficient resources; (3) communication between organizations and strengthening activities is still not effective; (4) the characteristics of implementing agents have a level of communication that is not yet open; (5) supportive socio-economic and political conditions; (6) the implementor's disposition where a situation is considered very complex or controversial, so that the implementor finds it very difficult to take a firm stance on the BMN elimination policy.

Fast and dynamic economic growth requires companies to choose a chief executive officer (CEO) who has strong technical and managerial skills. One important ability for a company CEO to have is financial expertise. The CEO's financial capabilities can help the company manage resources more efficiently and effectively, especially during times of crisis. This research aims to determine the role of CEO financial expertise on company performance during the Covid 19 pandemic. This research is quantitative in nature using secondary data obtained from the company's annual report and financial statements. The sample for this research was 40 property and real estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2020-2022. The data analysis technique used is panel data regression analysis. The results obtained show that CEO financial expertise plays a negative and significant role in company performance. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of profitability, solvency, company size, and company age on the level of underpricing of IPO shares on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2013- 2023. Underpricing is the difference between the IPO stock offering price and the market price when the shares are first traded on the market. This study aims to examine the effect of profitability, solvency, company size and company age on the level of underpricing of IPOshares on the IDX for the period 2013-2023. The sample of this study was 376 using purposive sampling. Data collection techniques using non-participant observation methods. The data analysis technique used is the Structural Equation Model (SEM) using Partial Least Square (PLS). Research data is processed using Smart-PLS version 4 software by evaluating the inner model and bootstrapping. The results of this study indicate that profitability, solvency, company size and company age have a negative effect on the level of underpricing of IPO shares on the IDX for the period 2013-2023. Abstract

Manufacturing companies are the largest contributor to tax revenue in Indonesia. However, this group experienced negative tax revenue growth when in general there was growth in tax revenue. The existence of foreign ownership and the use of debt (financial leverage) is suspected to be one of the causes of tax avoidance by the company even though it has been audited by an external party. The study was conducted using Moderated Regression Analysis on 124 manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The results showed that foreign ownership had no significant effect on tax avoidance, while financial leverage had a significant effect on tax avoidance. In addition, audit quality does not moderate significantly the influence of foreign ownership and financial leverage.

Abstract

Digitalization of the financial sector through non-cash payment instrument means brings many benefits to the Indonesian economy, but also has consequences behind it. This research aims to determine the effect of non-cash payment instruments consisting of electronic money and card payment on inflation in Indonesia using the Vector Error Correction Model (VECM) method. The results of this research show that shocks in the value of electronic money transactions and card payments have a positive effect on inflation in line with the quantity theory of money. This paper concludes that the digitalization of the financial sector gives impacts on inflation in Indonesia, so the government should prepare appropriate policies to balance the positive effects on economic growth and the negative effects on inflation.
