Abstract

Developments that move in the realm of technology seem to be an increasingly rapid reality today, where it makes each organization to always prioritize aspects of innovation in order to perpetuate its existence when dealing with competitiveness and other competitors in line with the increasingly massive reality. The specific purpose of this research is to focus on schemes to improve product innovation: the impact of transformational leadership with the role of organizational climate and knowledge sharing as mediators (case study at PT. Standar Toyo Polymer in Cilegon City). This research involves a descriptive quantitative approach that is intended for the purpose of assessing the relationship between variables and explaining why the relationship exists, so confirmatory studies and exploratory studies are used. The results of the analysis at PT Standard Toyo Polymer Cilegon show that transformational leadership has a positive and significant influence on organizational climate and knowledge sharing. Organizational climate and knowledge sharing are also proven to have a significant effect on product innovation. However, transformational leadership does not have a significant direct influence on product innovation. Nonetheless, transformational leadership shows a significant influence on product innovation through the mediation of organizational climate.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the impact of management complexity, foreign ownership and financial difficulties on the timeliness of financial reporting for real estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI ) from 2019 to 2023. This study uses secondary data. The financial reports and annual reports are available on the official website of IDX. After using the outlier test to reduce the sample size to 22 companies with 110 observation data, the sampling procedure which involved purposive sampling resulted in 41 companies with 205 observation data. The reliability of financial reporting is not affected by financial difficulties; on the contrary, data analysis using a panel data regression approach and Eviews 12 software shows that foreign ownership and complex business operations have a negative impact on the timeliness of financial reporting. This research provides empirical insights into the factors affecting financial reporting timeliness in Indonesia and the managerial implications in developing programs to improve financial reporting timeliness.

Abstract

The fundamental principles of justice and legal certainty are integral components of the rule of law concerning protecting individual rights, specifically in taxation. The enactment of Minister of Finance (MoF) Regulation Number 79 of 2023 is a responsive measure to the demands for adaptive tax regulations due to the evolution of laws. Therefore, this research aimed to analyze MoF Regulation Number 79 of 2023 using qualitative methods to explore and understand the meaning of taxpayers' perspectives relating to assessment procedures in regulation and practice to provide in-depth guidance on assessment in taxation. MoF Regulation 79 of 2023 is necessary for tax system compliance, justice, and legal certainty, serving as a multi-faceted juridical, philosophical, and sociological foundation. The results show that the regulation adheres to legal principles, influencing taxation practices regarding tangible and intangible assets, income tax, Value Added Tax (VAT), and sale agreements. This research contributes to analyzing perceptions of legal certainty and fairness in Tax Policy and the importance of balancing the use of tax regulations for external purposes with internal values and principles of tax justice in practice, which will impact the process of making other tax policies more effective and equitable, ultimately contributing to the promotion of social justice, economic development, and good governance. Moreover, future research can analyze the latest regulations issued as a theoretical and practical foundation for taxpayers, aid in setting valuation standards, and ensure compliance with the changing law for the professional practice of tax experts and accountants.

Abstract

The tourism sector is the sector that has the most significant contribution in the world in every country. This research aims to examine and analyze the implementation of the hexa-helix principle in developing the tourism business and creative economy in West Sumba. The research was conducted using a descriptive qualitative model. The data collection method used interview and documentation mechanisms, then analyzed using triangulation-based qualitative methods. The results are classified, and coding is carried out to formulate data validation and reliability. This research found that academics, society and tourists answer that tourism in West Sumba has met the requirements in the context of education, meeting community needs and can attract quality tourists and has an impact on increasing local revenue. However, the hexa-helix concept in government, mass media and the business world is still being adjusted and needs to be fully operational. So, it has not reached the optimal level for marketing and developing sustainable tourism infrastructure.

Abstract

The Bali Provincial Government has welcomed the Indonesian government's commitment to contribute to reducing greenhouse gas emissions. This study was conducted to determine the perception of the Balinese people towards the climate change adaptation policy that the Bali Provincial Government has made. The study was conducted qualitatively using content analysis. Interviews were conducted with respondents in the Sanur Tourism Area until the saturation point was reached. The results obtained were that most of the climate change perception stimuli were obtained through the sense of taste. There are three groups of perceptions, namely negative, positive, and neutral towards the policy of Governor Regulation No. 48 of 2019. In addition, some people feel the benefits and disadvantages personally and in the community. Based on the results of this study, it can be seen that the tendency of the formation of respondents' perceptions is based on the work environment and daily activities. However, this policy is considered impossible for most people who do not have a choice of transportation modes. It is hoped that this study can provide information to local governments.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the level of tourist satisfaction regarding the change in status of Jenderal Ahmad Yani Airport from an international to a domestic airport, as stipulated in the Decree of the Minister Nomor KM 31 Tahun 2024. This change affects the airport's classification, including the elimination of direct flight routes to Singapore and Malaysia. To evaluate the level of tourist satisfaction, the study employs the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) method with a questionnaire that assesses various aspects of service, such as accessibility, check-in processes, security checks, and terminal facilities. The sample consists of passengers who have used the airport's services in the past year, using a purposive sampling technique. The data is analyzed statistically using instrument tests, classical assumption tests, and multiple linear regression. The results indicate that service quality and connectivity have a significant effect on tourist satisfaction. The change in the airport's status also impacts passenger traffic for tourism purposes. Prior to this change, the airport served international routes that supported visits from foreign tourists to Central Java. However, with the loss of direct international routes, international tourists must now transit at other airports such as Jakarta or Surabaya, which increases travel costs and time. Nevertheless, this change opens up opportunities to increase the number of domestic passengers, contributing to the growth of local tourism. Therefore, evaluating the need for new infrastructure and improving service quality are priorities to ensure the sustainable growth of the tourism sector.

Abstract

Advances in technology and science make competition between one company and another more competitive. Intellectual Capital (IC) is an intangible asset that can make a company superior if the company is able to utilize Intellectual Capital properly and efficiently. Profitability is used as an illustration of the company's financial condition with analytical tools to see whether the profitability of a company is good or bad. The success of a company is not only seen from the profitability of a company, but also can be seen from the resources in a company. The view that Intellectual Capital can affect company profitability and provide value to the company states that companies that are able to manage knowledge resources well, companies can compete competitively and have competitive advantages that affect profitability (resource based theory).

Abstract

This study will analyze South Korea's gastro-diplomacy efforts to improve national branding in Indonesia from 2015 to 2018 using the Korean Wave. This study also discusses South Korea's initiative to preserve its culture through food, including kimchi. South Korea makes these efforts to attract the global world and strives to continue to build a good image. Seeing that South Korea, with its Drama and K-pop culture, has been glanced at by international countries, South Korea is trying to market its food products. This study aims to analyze the gastro-diplomacy efforts carried out by South Korea to further promote South Korean food culture in Indonesia by using qualitative descriptive methods. Data sources were obtained from book documents, research journals, and credible internet media as supporting primary sources related to South Korean gastro diplomacy. According to the study's final findings, using kimchi gastro diplomacy in Indonesia has increased the number of kimchi lovers, South Korean restaurants in Indonesia, and imports and exports, especially in the food industry. Because the taste of South Korean and Indonesian cuisine is similar, Indonesian people easily like South Korean cuisine. Therefore, gastro diplomacy is used by South Korea to further promote South Korean food culture, especially in the field of cuisine.
