Avocados (Persea americana Mill) are fruits that originally from Mexico and Central America. It has the characteristics of green flesh on the bottom of the skin and yellowing toward the seeds with a texture that is rather soft when it is ripe. Skin color varies, some are green because of chlorophyll or black content due to anthocyanin pigments. This study aimed to determine the total levels of flavonoids in the skin of avocados that were green and black. Determination of total flavonoid levels used a UV- Vis spectrophotometer. The results showed that an analysis of water content was 5.306% for green avocado skin and 7.327% for black avocado skin. The analysis of total flavonoid levels at a wavelength of 437 nm obtained respectively, the average yield was 54,950 mg/100g for green avocado skin and 29,519 mg/100g for black avocado skin. The results of this study are expected to be able to attract the interest of the community to cultivate green and black avocado plants. especially in the area of Central Sulawesi.

Eugenol is a paleyellow oily liquid which can be extracted from essential oils such as clove and cinnamon oils. This study aimed to modify eugenol and to reduce environmental pollution caused by polymers by utilizing natural materials through polymerization of eugenol with concentrated nitric acid (HNO3) and media of acetic acid (CH3COOH). Various of acetic acid media used were 5%, 25%, and 50%. The result of polieugenol was blackish brown, in the form of shiny gels, smelling of cloves, and soluble in ethanol, slightly soluble in chloroform and insoluble in benzene and water. The product polieugenol was washed with aquades. The yields before washing were 142.75%, 141.25% and 138.75%, and the yield after washing were 88.265%, 88.397% and 87.248%. The Fourier Transform InfraRed (FT-IR) spectrophotometer results showed that the polymerization did not occur perfectly showing by absorption peaks of CH=CH2 and C = C groups at 995.27 and 1635.89 cm-1.

Pumpkin seeds (Cucurbita moschata) in daily life is used only limited to pumpkin seed snack, whereas pumpkin seeds can be processed in various forms. One of them is pumpkin seed tempeh. Tempeh is a traditional fermented food rhizopus sp. made by fermentation and can be used as a food source that has economic value which has high protein. This study aims to determine the protein levels in pumpkin seed tempeh and its use as a learning media. The research type is an explorative descriptive research. Tempe pumpkin seeds were analyzed for protein levels by using micro Kjedhal analysis through three stages, namely destruction, distillation and titration as many as three repetitions. The results show the average protein level of pumpkin seed tempeh is 24.66%. Based on the results of validation tests by a team of experts in content, design and media as well as 20 students, the results of the study are very worthy to be used as a learning media in the form of posters with a feasibility percentage of 81.49%.

The Pondo River is one of the rivers in Central Sulawesi which crosses the Poboya, Lasoani, Tanamodindi and Talise villages. Administratively, it is located in Mantikulore District, Poboya Village. This study aims to determine the level of diversity and distribution patterns of macrozoobenthos in the Pondo River and its use as a learning resource. This research is a descriptive study that uses a random sampling method, with surbernet as a means of taking samples. To determine the level of diversity using the Shannon-Winner diversity index formula, to determine the distribution pattern using the Morista distribution index. The results showed the diversity of macrozoobenthos in the Pondo River, namely: H '= 1.36 moderate diversity. The distribution pattern of macrozoobenthos, namely: The pattern of distribution in groups (clustered) and uniform (regular), of the 10 macrozoobenthos found in the species Hydropsyche sp. has a clustered distribution pattern (clustered). Based on the results of the validation test, this research is suitable to be used as a learning resource in the form of a pocket book with a feasibility percentage of 82.1%.

The purpose of this study was to obtain a description of the application of the Problem Based Learning model that can improve student learning outcomes in Quadratic Equations Class X of IPA 4 SMA N 1 Torue. The type of research used is classroom action research (CAR) which refers to the research design of Kemmis and Mc. Taggart, namely: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The research has been carried out, obtained that the learning outcomes of class X IPA 4 Torue 1 Senior High School in the quadratic equation material has increased, namely the results of observation of teacher and student activities in the first cycle are in the good category while in the second cycle the observations of the activities of teachers and students are in the very good category. In the first cycle the percentage of classical completeness was 47.2% while the second cycle of the classical completeness percentage was 77.27%. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the application of the PBL model can improve student learning outcomes in the quadratic equation material in class X IPA 4 Torue 1 SMA by following the phases as follows: (1) Student orientation to the problem, (2) Organizing students to learning, (3) guiding individual and group investigations, (4) developing and presenting work, and (5) analyzing and evaluating problem solving processes.

The purpose of this study was to descript of implementation of cooperative learning model of NHT type on arithmetic social class VII Karuna Dipa Palu. This type of research is classroom action research (CAR). The design of this study discusses the Kemmis and Mc. Taggart consists of four components, namely 1) planning, 2) implementing actions, 3) observation and 4) reflection. The subjects of this study were Grade VII students of Karuna Dipa Palu Middle School who tested 20 students. The study was conducted in two cycles. The results showed that the application of the NHT type of cooperative learning model with phases, namely: 1) delivery of goals and preparation of students, 2) presentation of information, 3) numbering, 4) asking questions, 5) mutual assistance, 6) help or advice and 7) giving awards to arithmetic social materials can improve student learning outcomes in class VII Karuna Dipa Palu.

The purpose of the research is to find out whether or not the influence of science process skills with the Project Based Learning model on the results of physics learning in grade XI IPA students of SMA Labschool UNTAD Palu. The problem in this study is whether there is an influence of science process skills with project based learning model on the results of students studying physics in grade XI IPA SMA Labschool UNTAD Palu. The benefit of research is to increase students' knowledge of the concepts of physics. To see the success of this study, an initial test was conducted to determine the ability of students in experimental classes and control classes. After that in the experimental class was treated using science process skills with the Project Based Learning model and the control class only used the Project Based Learning model on Business and Energy materials. After the learning is complete, both classes are again given a final test to test the results. Based on the results of both classes, the average scores from the experimental class and control classes were 6,125 and 5.70 for the initial test, while for the final test the average was 13.01, and 12.00. From the analysis of the final test data obtained ttable value of 2.01 while thitung value of 2.48. This shows that thitung value is outside the ho admission area, thus Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted in other words the learning outcomes of the group of students who get the treatment of science process skills with the Project Based Learning model against the results of physics learning in grade XI ipa sma labschool UNTAD Palu at a real level significantly different from the group of students who only use project based learning mode, then it can be concluded that there is an influence of Science Process skills with Project Based Learning Model on Student Physics Learning Results in Grade XI IPA SMA Labschool UNTAD Palu.

The purpose of this study is to find out the activeness of students in the learning process by using video media learning physics in kaili language on the material of physics and its measurements for junior high school. This research includes a type of development research. This development uses the ADDIE model. The techniques used in data collection are questionnaires and observations. This development research process is carried out in several stages. The stages are: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The subject of the study for feasibility trials Of physics learning video in kaili language was conducted on students of grade VIID Hasanudin numbering 20 people at SMPN 1 Sindue. 1) Product feasibility trials are conducted by giving questionnaires in the form of questionnaires containing things related to the level of feasibility of video media learning physics in kaili language as a learning medium. The assessment results in students were obtained on average by 3.63 with the achievement of "Strongly agree''. 2) Then the next trial was conducted on 10 students in the experimental class and 10 students in the control class. The assessment results in the experiment class averaged 3.44 and the control class averaged 3.39. Based on the data, kaili language physics learning video deserves to be used as a learning medium.

This study aims to describe the understanding of the concept of direct current electrical circuits through real and virtual laboratory learning. Subjects and respondents to this study as many as 6 students of the Physics Education Study Program class of 2016 who have programmed basic physics courses. The research instrument used is a three-tier multiple choice diagnostic test with DIRECT 1.1 which is a question of multiple choice with the reason in answering the question, each choice of answers accompanied by a choice of confidence level index in answering or CRI. The test instrument used as many as 24 question numbers. The test result data is then analyzed to determine the percentage of scientific concepts, understand alternative concepts, and do not understand concepts both before practicum and after practicum for each group. Based on the results of the analysis of research data, the concept of students before practicum either follow the learning through the real laboratory first then the virtual laboratory, as well as students who follow the learning through the virtual laboratory first then the real laboratory in the categorized very low, while after practicum in high categorization. Understanding the concept in students who have followed the learning using the real laboratory first then the virtual laboratory is relatively better compared to students who follow the learning using a virtual laboratory first then a real laboratory.

This study aimed to describe learning outcomes of students at MAN 2 Palu in terms of the tendency of learning styles in chemistry. This type of study was descriptive research. Sampling was carried out using the proportional stratified random sampling technique consisted of 93 students. Data collection technique used instruments of learning style questionnaire and learning outcomes test as well as daily test scores of Acid and Base Solutions. The results showed that students of Class XI MIA at MAN 2 Palu had various learning styles. There were 49 students (53%) with a tendency to visual learning styles, 31 students (34%) with an auditorial learning style, and 13 students (13%) with a kinesthetic learning style. Students with visual learning style performed an excellent category of learning outcomes of 25,81% compared to students with an auditorial learning style of 16% and with a kinesthetic learning style of 8,6%.
