Abstract

Strontium titanate (SrTiO3) film was successfully deposited on a silicon substrate by using a pulsed-laser ablation deposition (PLAD) technique. The optimum temperature is 600o C. The electrical properties measurement was metal-oxide-semiconductor capacitor. The film exhibits good insulating property at room temperature. The fixed charge density and leakage current density were also calculated. The results show that the films have promising applications as alternative gate dielectrics.

Abstract

Microcrystalline hydrogenated silicon thin films have been grown on corning 7059 by using Hot Wire Plasma Enhanced Chemical Vapor Deposition (PECVD) system. Silane gas dilute in hydrogen gas (SiH4: H2 = 1 : 10 ) used as gas source. The effect substrate temperatures on deposition rate, optical, electrical and structural properties were analyzed. The deposition rate was varied from 3.22-5.24 µm/hour at temperature 175-275o C, SiH4 flow rate of 70 sccm, and filament temperature ~ 1000oC. The optical band gap varied from 1.13-1.44 eV at substrate temperature of 175-275. The Result XRD characterization of µc-Si: H thin film was grown at 275o C shows , , and orientation. Dark conductivities vary from 10-6-10-4 S/cm The Dark conductivity of µc-Si: H is higher than a-Si: H thin film. This result shows that µc-Si: H thin film is possible for p-i-n solar cells device application.

Abstract

Amorphous ceria (CeO2) thin films were deposited on a silicon (100) substrate by using a pulsed-laser ablation deposition (PLAD) technique. The substrate temperature was varied from 600 to 7000 C and the ambient was a pure oxygen gas at the pressure of 100 mTorr. It was found that the growth rate is 17.5 nm/min. Low fixed-charge densities (1011/cm2) and high resistivies (109-1012 Ω cm) of the CeO2 thin films indicate that the films could be used for oxide layer of metal-oxide-semiconductor (MOS) capacitors. Electron conduction mechanism in the CeO2 thin films is ohmic at voltages below 1 V while that at voltages above 1 V are due to quantum tunneling process.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to study distribution and abundance of (shrubs, herbs, and rumput) under the three stands,i.e. Pinus mercusii, Acacia auriculiformis and Eucalyptus alba and environmental factors influencing them in Gama Girimandiri Forest. Data were collected in April-May 2011, using square plots. Plots were located in three locations by followinga stratified random sampling method. We administered 10 repetitions, and plot size 5x5 m for shrubs and herbs, and 1X1 m forgrass. The species found in each stand were identified and calculated for their density, frequency, domination, importantvalue, diversity index, and those parameters’ correlation with the measured environmental factors. The study shows that 59species of herbs and shrubs, and 12 species of grass. In the three stands, it could be shown various domination of grass,meanwhile there is no dominant species at the level of herbs and shrubs. The highest density, measured by diversity index,was observed at the stand of Pinus (3,13), followed by Acacia (3,12) and Eucalyptus (2,8). The distribution and density ofMemecylon sp and Oplismenus burmanni were observed at their highest value under the stand of Pinus, Lantana camaraLinn (37.2). At the same fashion, Paspalum conjugatum (58.3) does under the stand of Acacia, and Desmodium triflorum(64,2) and Ischaemum magnum (122) under Eucalyptus. Lantana camara could always be found under the three stands, ithad high important value, categorized as strategy species and invasive. Light density and pH significantly influenced thediversity index of shrubs and herbs. In addition, only soil temperature gave an effect to grass.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya perbedaan hasil belajar siswa pada materi hukum Newton, yang melalui penerapan model Problem Based Learning dan model Direct Instruction pada siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 6 Palu. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain “the non equivalent, pretest-postest designs”. Populasi dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari kelas X MIA. Pengambilan sampel ditentukan berdasarkan pertimbangan guru yang menghasilkan sampel X MIA 1 (n=22) sebagai kelas eksperimen 1  dan X MIA 4 (n=22) sebagai kelas eksperimen 2. Instrumen yang digunakan menggunakan tes hasil belajar dalam bentuk pilihan ganda. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data, nilai rerata skor pada kelas PBL  untuk tes awal 5.77 dan tes akhir 14.05 sedangkan pada kelas DI untuk tes awal 5.05 dan tes akhir 12.95. Hasil pengujian hipotesis terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan model Problem Based Learning dan Direct Instruction.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gaya belajar yang dimiliki oleh siswa berprestasi mata pelajaran fisika di SMA Al-Azhaar Palu. Gaya belajar adalah cara yang konstan yang dilakukan oleh seorang murid dalam memecahkan soal. Gaya belajar yang diungkapkan oleh David Kolb akan membentuk empat kombinasi kuadran gaya belajar yaitu gaya belajar Diverger, Assimilator, Converger dan Accomodator. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI MIA SMA Al-Azhaar Palu yang berprestasi dan mendapatkan nilai tertinggi pada mata pelajaran fisika Tahun Ajaran 2018/2019 yang berjumlah 9 orang.  Adapun teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa angket yang terdiri dari 24 pernyataan yang diisi oleh siswa dengan cara memberikan skor 1-4. Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa Gaya belajar siswa berprestasi mata pelajaran fisika di kelas XI MIA 1, 2 dan 3 SMA Al-Azhaar Palu lebih dominan pada gaya belajar accomodator (Kuadran IV) yang merupakan kombinasi antara kutub perasaan dengan tindakan dengan persentase sebesar 82,64%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh pendekatan scientific model discovery learning pada materi gerak lurus terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas X MA Asadiyah Tolai. Pada kelas eksperimen diberi perlakuan dengan menggunakan pendekatan scientific model discovery learning dan kelas kontrol menggunakan model pembelajaran langsung. Berdasarkan hasil tes dari kedua kelas, diperoleh nilai rata-rata dari kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol berturut-turut adalah 6,27 dan 5,75 untuk tes awal, sedangkan untuk tes akhir rata-ratanya adalah 13,58 dan 9,89. Dari hasil analisa data diperoleh nilai sedangkan nilai . Hal ini menunjukan bahwa nilai  berada diluar daerah penerimaan Ho, dengan demikian Ho ditolak dan H1 diterima. Hasil ini menyatakan terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar antara kelas yang diterapkan pendekatan scientific model discovery learning pada materi gerak lurus terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas X MA Asadiyah Tolai dengan kelas yang diterapkan model pembelajaran langsung. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh pendekatan scientific model discovery learning pada materi gerak lurus terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas X MA Asadiyah Tolai.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the effect of logic concept mastery by cognitive development on physics science learning achievement with a problem-solving approach. The population of subjects was students of class VIII SMP Negeri 16 Palu with purposive sampling technique with a quasi-experimental method based on the results of data analysis can be concluded as follows: 1) oriented learning with a problem-solving approach to learning in the subject matter in class VIII of SMP can light improve student learning outcomes;  2) there was a significant effect between mastery of the concept of cognitive development to the learning outcomes with the value of R= 0.802; 3) the response of the student to the teaching component that includes teaching materials, LKS, practice, and approaches used by the teacher in teaching was happy and interested.

Abstract

This research was purposed to describe the way of the students' thinking in completing the vector-based test by physical context. The instrument of this research consisted of the respondent selection test (TSR), logical test with thinking-aloud (TA), and interview guidance. Respondents of this research were six students in one of the senior high school in Palu. Collecting data was held by applying a thinking-aloud (TA) and interview which recorded by using a video camera. The interview was conducted to find out supporting data in analyzing the result of thinking-aloud (TA) data. The analyzing data of the way of students' thinking can be seen from every step of their respondents in completing the test by using physical context. Generally, there are two thinking models that are deductive thinking and inductive thinking. In the analysis of the results of TA and interviews, obtained that respondents are more dominant used of deductive thinking in completing the test than inductive thinking. It was influenced by the teacher's method in providing the test when the teaching-learning process and the students' usage in completing the test.

Abstract

This research is a development research with a 4D development model. The study was conducted in class XII IPA 1 and IPA 2 in SMA Negeri 1 Moutong, each class consisted of 25 students. The instruments used were observation sheets, test questions and documentation. The data obtained consisted of experimental class data and control class data. For Cognitive tests in the experimental class, data were obtained that the percentage of graduation was 89%, while for the control class the percentage of graduation was 76%. For the attitude assessment, in the experimental class the total percentage of all meetings was 84,4%, while in the control class the total percentage of all meetings was 79%. For the Skills assessment, in the experimental class the total percentage of all meetings was 80%, while in the control class the total percentage of all meetings was 76%. For Percentage of Activity of Students, in the experimental class the total percentage of all meetings was 81,3%, while in the control class the total percentage of all meetings was 79,1%. Then from the process of analyzing Validity, Reliability, Difficulty Index, and Differences in the items it was found that, 24 items were received from a total of 25 items submitted. As well as in the interview results were found, namely a positive response from the teacher and students interviewed. The performance of the Android application is very good, able to calculate each score of the experimental class students in 0 (zero) seconds. So, it was concluded that the learning devices developed and assisted with Android were valid, practical and effective quality.
