Abstract

Garahan Village, located in Silo District, Jember Regency, is known for its community-based coffee production. However, the local farmers continue to face significant challenges in marketing their coffee products beyond the village level. The lack of knowledge and skills in digital marketing strategies has resulted in limited market access and low product competitiveness. This community service program was designed to address these challenges by enhancing the marketing capabilities of local coffee farmers through the conceptualization and implementation of a digital marketing model. The ultimate goal is to support sustainable food security by strengthening the economic resilience of coffee farmers. The activities in this program involved a series of stages, including preliminary surveys to identify key problems, direct observations, educational outreach on the importance of digital marketing, hands-on training in social media utilization and online marketplace platforms, and continuous monitoring and evaluation of the implementation process. The main partners of this initiative were members of the local coffee farmer group in Garahan Village. The results of the program indicate a significant improvement in the partners’ understanding and application of digital marketing tools. Prior to the intervention, only 10% of participants were familiar with digital marketing; this figure rose to 85% after the training sessions. Moreover, digital-based coffee sales increased by 40% within three months following the intervention. These outcomes demonstrate the effectiveness of the community engagement approach in addressing local agricultural marketing issues. Key outputs of the program include the establishment of social media accounts and online storefronts for coffee products, increased farmer capacity in managing digital promotion, and the production of a simple digital marketing guidebook for sustainable use.

Abstract

This study explores the potentian of watermelon rind processing into sweets as an innovative solution in managing organic waste and improving economic welfare in Mojosari Village, Jember Regency. With a total population of 9.470 people, this village relies on the agricultural sector, where watermelon rind is a waste that is often overlooked. This study identifies the volume of waste, current management practices, and evaluates the environmental impacts and economic benefits of watermelon rind processing. Research methods include surveys, interviews, and observations, followed by watermelon rind processing into sweets. The results show that this processing not only reduces the environmental ipmpact of waste but also opens up new economic opportunities for farmers and farm laborers. Implementation of this model has the potential to improve food security by strengthening local food production systems and reducing dependence on foreign food ingirdients. Recommendations include wide-scale implementation an training for communities on processing techniques an tehir benefits.

Abstract

The Pokdarwis of Lebakmuncang Village is a group of community leaders participating in the tourism village development program in South Bandung Regency. To unlock the tourism potential of Lebakmuncang Village, which includes stunning natural beauty, unique cultural heritage, and distinctive local crafts, it is essential to provide training and counseling. This activity uses a descriptive method, namely providing counseling and training to Pokdarwis members. Data analysis is carried out through four stages: collection, simplification, presentation, and verification of information. However, despite its significant potential, these attractions have not been fully utilized to support the economic growth of the local community. Challenges Faced by Pokdarwis in Developing Tourism Potential include: 1) Lack of Digital Understanding and Skills Limited knowledge about using digital tools for tourism promotion and management; 2) Conventional Promotion Methods Heavy reliance on traditional forms of marketing that have a limited reach; 3) Absence of an Integrated Tourism Information System Lack of a centralized platform to present comprehensive tourism information. The primary goal of coaching Pokdarwis is to help them recognize the potential of Lebakmuncang Village as a promising tourist destination and to empower them to share this vision with the broader community, which serves as a vital resource in village tourism development. Training and Counseling Program The training and counseling sessions were conducted over two days, from July 6-7, 2024. The results of these sessions were significant Increased Participation, Improved Financial Management, Adoption of Modern Packaging Technologies. Expanded tourism promotion reach with the adoption of digital tools such as social media, websites, and digital tourism platforms, the reach of tourism promotions has significantly expanded, attracting visitors from outside the region. This more structured and measurable approach has led to a noticeable increase in tourist visits.

Abstract

The development of Information and Communication Technology in the last few decades has experienced very rapid progress and has had a broad impact on various aspects of life, ranging from social, economic, health, to education. In the context of electrical engineering and coding education, various simulation-based digital learning platforms have begun to be widely used to replace or complement conventional practices. One such platform is Tinkercad, a web-based application that allows users to create virtual electronic circuit simulations and program microcontrollers such as Arduino. This platform is very suitable for use in the process of learning the basics of electronics and programming (coding) because the interface is simple and easy to understand for beginners. For this reason, the Community Service Activity of Indraprasta PGRI University was carried out by holding an introduction to coding training for electrical applications with Tinkercad for students of MAN Insan Cendekia Pekalongan and was carried out online. The purpose of this training is to introduce basic electricity and basic programming and its application in the world of electricity. The training method is in the form of lectures and practice in making simple electrical circuits and ends with making a traffic light project using Arduino programmed through the Tinkercad platform. The training participants were invited to understand the basic electrical concepts, get to know electrical components, understand the basic concepts of programming and compile circuits and program codes in stages. The results of the training showed an increase in students' understanding of the basic concepts of electricity, microcontrollers and programming. This training is expected to be the first step in encouraging digital literacy and technological skills for MAN IC Pekalongan students in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0.

Abstract

The Marketing and Sales Division of PT XYZ faces challenges in managing tender data due to the lack of an integrated and structured system. The dispersion of data across multiple locations complicates the monitoring process, particularly when the company participates in multiple tenders simultaneously. This project aims to address the issue by identifying initial problems, designing, and implementing a tender monitoring application within the division. The development process employed the waterfall methodology. Data were collected through direct observation and interviews with administrative staff as primary sources, while secondary data were obtained from relevant documentation. The results showed that the administrative staff in the marketing and sales division were significantly assisted in managing tender data, particularly in terms of processing speed. Previously, data management was performed manually using Excel documents without automation, taking around 10 minutes. After the implementation of this application, the tender data processing time was significantly reduced, with an average speed improvement of 89%. This solution contributes to enhancing the efficiency, structure, and accuracy of tender information management, facilitates progress monitoring, and supports the creation of tender reports within the Marketing and Sales Division of PT XYZ.

Abstract

This community service program aimed to empower the culinary micro-business Kebab Arabian Shawarma DR Soebandi through digital transformation using the GoFood platform. The partner faced challenges in digital marketing, including low technical literacy, lack of digital presence, and ineffective sales strategies, resulting in limited market reach and low revenue (average 5–7 orders/day, Rp6–8 million/month). The intervention employed a hybrid method combining technical assistance (GoFood account setup, product optimization, QRIS integration) and knowledge transfer (digital marketing training, promotional strategies). Results showed significant improvements: a 45% increase in revenue (Rp12.3 million/month), 85% digital transaction adoption, and expanded customer reach (35% new customers via GoFood). The program’s novelty lies in its gender-inclusive approach, focusing on female entrepreneurs, and its holistic integration of technical and educational support. Outcomes included enhanced digital literacy, independent platform management, and sustainable business growth, demonstrating the effectiveness of structured mentoring in bridging the digital divide for MSMEs.
