Al-Kawakib a journal of Islamic studies published twice a year June and December by Major Islamic Studies Faculty Of Social Science Universitas Negeri Padang since 2020 Publishes original (library or field) research articles in the field of Islamic studies It promotes multidisciplinary approaches to Islam and Islamicate societies and focuses on seven main topics Islamic Education the Qur’an and hadith Islamic Law Islamic Theology (Kalam) Islamic Philosophy Islamic Mysticism (Tasawwuf) Islamic Communication and Propogation (Dakwah) It encourages articles that employ a multi-disciplinary approach to those topics. Scholars that are concerned with Islam and its manifestation throughout Muslim history and society can submit their article to Al-Kawakib and use this open access journal as a valuable resource in this field.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and describe the results of the feasibility analysis of the contents of the Islamic Religious Education Smart LKS content in terms of the suitability of the material description with KI/KD, the accuracy of the material, and the content of supporting learning materials. The type of research used is library research. Literature research is research based on literature searches related to the problems to be discussed. The method used is descriptive analysis method. The primary data sources in this study were obtained from the Smart LKS for Islamic Religious Education with Character, while the secondary data were obtained from books, journals, articles, laws and regulations, and so on. All data will be collected, analyzed, interpreted as well as by interpreting the object under study. The results showed that the suitability of the description of the material with KI-KD obtained a percentage of 65%, while in terms of the accuracy of the material it obtained a percentage of 72%, and in terms of supporting learning materials it obtained a percentage of 73.2%. When viewed as a whole, the percentage of sub-components is 70%, which shows that the Smart LKS for Islamic Religious Education is worthy of being used as a companion book for learning in elementary schools

Abstract

This study aims to discuss and examine the thoughts of Sheikh Muhammad Naquib Al-Attas about Islamic education. The method used is a literature study, which uses library data as a source. The results of the study reveal that there are 5 (five) important points of Sheikh Muhammad Naquib Al-Attas' thoughts related to education, namely: First, the purpose of education, namely to instill goodness or justice in humans as human beings and personal self which focuses on the formation of individual personalities and expects the formation of an ideal society, Second, Educational Methods, The method he mostly uses is Tawhid, Metaphors and Stories, Third, Educational Curriculum, is divided into Fardhu 'ain and fardhu kifayah, Fourth Educators, according to Al-attas Educators must have personality and manners Fifth, students, according to Al-Attas, students are required to develop perfect etiquette in science

Abstract

Cooperatives are business entities established by individuals or groups to improve the economic quality of the community. Especially in Indonesia, cooperatives have played their role since pre-independence. One of the functions of cooperatives is as a fund-crediting agency. With the development of cooperatives in Indonesia and the high awareness of the Indonesian people about Islamic law in every transaction in order to avoid what is called usury and gharar (losses) make cooperatives interesting to study more deeply using the lens of Islamic law. It is judged that cooperatives are a new type of transaction that did not occur in the days of the prophets and scholars of previous schools of thought. It is interesting because the ulama have different views on cooperatives. Of course, the difference is not only in terms of texts but also from the harm and benefits of cooperatives. Keywords: Cooperatives, Transactions, Islamic Law Koperasi merupakan badan usaha yang didirikan oleh individu atau kelompok guna meningkatkan kualitias ekonomi masyarakat. Terkhusus di Indonesia koperasi telah memainkan perannya sejak pra kemerdekaan. Salah satu fungsi koperasi adalah sebagai badan pengkreditan dana. Dengan berkembangnya koperasi di Indonesia serta tingginya kesadaran masyarakat Indonesia akan hukum Islam dalam setiap transaksi agar terhindar dari yang namanya riba dan gharar (kerugian) menjadikan koperasi menarik untuk dikaji lebih dalam menggunakan kaca mata hukum Islam. Dinilai karena koperasi termasuk jenis transaksi baru yang tidak terjadi di zaman nabi dan ulama mazhab terdahulu. Menjadi menarik karena ulama berbeda pendapat dalam memandang koperasi. Tentu perbedaan itu bukan ditinjau dari nash saja melainkan dari mudharat dan manfaat yang ditimbulkan koperasi. Kata Kunci: Koperasi, Transaksi, Hukum Islam

Abstract

In the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 and the disaster of the COVID-19 pandemic has changed the human life. Humans are required to change their life perspective. The spirit is needed to survive, accompanying change, and is expected to become a locomotive for the changing of life and turn the obstacle become oportunities. This research was descriptive qualitative research. It describe the resilience and maturity of Islamic religious teachers in the industrial revolution 4.0 era and during the covid 19 pandemic. The survival and maturity of religious teachers can be seen from their activities in AGPAII. Islam as a religion revealed by Allah has the values ​​that immunize its adherents to survive and even become pioneers in their lives and civilizations. Through the AGIL analysis approach, this research shows that religious teachers who are well prepared and can survive, can be seen from the quantity and types of AGPAII activities during the Covid 19 pandemic. Religious values ​​play a strategic role to survive and to adapt and even be able to produce creative innovations

Abstract

The spread of the Covid-19 virus has been very massive almost all over the world, Covid-19 is a real threat to humans and countries because it causes some global losses and damage. The perceived losses have led several countries to sue China to be responsible and immediately be tried in an international court. This research aims to know, understand, and analyze the regulatory responsibilities of countries in Islamic law and international law perspective and whether or not the country of origin of the Covid-19 outbreak is held accountable for a global Covid-19. This research is normative legal research with a statutory approach. The results of this study explain that China could be held accountable if it met certain characteristics of the Covid-19 case, but it is not easy for China to be held accountable for this Covid-19 case which almost in several countries in the world

Abstract

Islamic mysticism (Sufism) developed rapidly systematically (theosophy) and widely after the birth of speculative theology ('ilm al-kalām). The development is considered to have reached its peak in the hands of Syihab Al-Din Suhrawardi Al-Maqtul (d. 1191 AD) and Muhy Al-Din Ibn 'Arabi (d. 1240 AD). These two Sufi-philosophers that gave a new color that had a different nuance from the muhadditsun, mutakallimun, philosophers, and also a number of Sufis who were strongly tied to text traditions. Although both of them also have a basis of text, their interpretation is so broad, they also have different nuances. Especially the first name has a unique journey in his career, thought and life. Suhrawardi is proposing criticism as well as trying to create a synthesis as a form of criticism and renewal of thoughts that developed before his time. Inspired by the concept of light from the Koran and Al-Ghazalī's Misykat, he tried to connect what he encountered with ancient knowledge while exploring new knowledge, especially regarding the concepts and systems of light, resulting in his new theosophy called Philosophy of Isyraq. This paper will discuss the profile, context, and thoughts of Suhrawardi, especially regarding his Divine Philosophy idea which is based on light.

Abstract

This paper aims to determine the development of Islamic education during the Khulafaur Rasyidin period. This type of research uses library research with data collection methods through the documentation method. The results of this study include: First, Khulafa Rasyidin means the replacement of a scholarly Apostle. The originators of the name Khulafa Rashidin were the Muslims who were closest to the Prophet after his death. The four figures after the death of the Apostle were people who always accompanied the Apostle when he was a leader and in carrying out his duties. These four figures are Abu Bakr as-Siddiq, Umar bin Khattab, Uthman bin Affan and Ali bin Abi Talib. The period of Khulafaur Rashidin lasted for 32 years. Second, there are many developments in Islamic education during this caliphate, which is expected to be an example and an illustration of organizing Islamic education in this millennial era

Abstract

This article reveals Ali Shariati's thoughts on methodological issues in studying Islam. The data used are the works of Ali Shariati and relevant literature obtained from library sources and analyzed by qualitative descriptive methods and philosophical approaches. This article finds that Ali Shariati views it as important and necessary to understand Islam in various ways. According to him, the method of understanding Islam is fundamental for socio-political change and the progress of civilization. However, Ali Shariati only offers two approaches to understanding Islam, namely historical and sociological approaches. Based on these findings, this article recommends and supports the claims of urgency and necessity of comprehensive methods in Islamic studies

Abstract

The focus of this article discusses the development of literature on the theme of women and terrorism in Indonesia. Primary data in the form of scientific articles obtained from online sources such as online journals were analyzed using qualitative descriptive methods. The findings of this article show that there are many studies and articles published with various focuses or topics related to the themes of women and terrorism. Studies related to women and terrorism in Indonesia can be classified covering topics of women's involvement, women's roles, women's absence, media, and gender. Therefore, this article confirms that the study of women and terrorism is growing and diversified along with the increasing phenomenon of women's terrorism

Abstract

Islamic education system refers to the value of Islam. Islamic education foundation located in attitude or outlook on life itself. Which Islam considers life is not an end of all but ground to achieve spiritual goals after life. At the time of the prophet, Islamic education implemented in two periods, Mecca period and Medina period. Mecca period as the initial construction phase of Islamic education and based in Makkah, and Medina period as the center of Islamic learning and activities.
