Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has forced the education system to undertake distance learning (PJJ). This incident is vulnerable to students in the Frontier, Outermost, and Disadvantaged (3T) areas because of the potential to lose their right to study. The purpose of this study is to provide an overview of online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic in the 3T area, especially in the province of East Nusa Tenggara. This study uses a descriptive content analysis study method. The analysis was carried out on international, national articles, books and similar sources related to the implementation of online learning during the pandemic. Virtual learning is a solution to activate teaching and learning activities even though educational institutions have implemented work from home, considering that time and place are at risk during this pandemic. However, this virtual learning technique is very important to evaluate, because internet network connection is one of the obstacles faced by students whose homes are difficult to access the internet, especially those students who live in rural, remote and disadvantaged areas.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to know the method of counseling guidance provided by counselors to students of SMK Negeri 1 Tualang and to know the relationship of counseling guidance with the behavior of students of SMK Negeri 1Tualang. The data collection in this study was conducted using qualitative techniques by distributing questionnaires to respondents. The results showed that the absence of relationship counseling guidance methods namely lecture methods, question and answer methods, and brainstorming methods of changing student behavior, namely discipline behavior, diligent behavior, polite behavior, and obedient behavior. Regarding the respondent's assessment of the quality of counseling guidance methods applied with the approach used to students, most respondents responded inappropriately, and scheduled consultations will be able to increase the interest in student counseling.

Abstract

Based on humanistic learning theory, learning objectives through local wisdom are based on the introduction of Balimau Kasai, which functions to humanize a human being. Learning activities are considered successful when students understand their environment and themselves. Students in the learning process must try to gradually be able to achieve self-actualization well. The development of learning based on the introduction of local wisdom to junior high school students can be an effective solution to increasing student interest in Social Sciences (IPS) lessons. Moreover, the concept of learning based on the introduction of localistic traditions and culture can trigger the emergence of a spirit of nationalism and patriotism in students to always respect the diversity of cultures and traditions around them. An example of local wisdom in Indonesia that can be introduced to students as teaching material for daily life is the Balimau Kasai tradition originating from Kampar Regency, Riau Province. Silberman (2006) states that local wisdom is a value system that is reflected in the life behavior of local people to be able to interact with the environment in which they live wisely and wisely. So, it can provide awareness to students to remain loyal to the existence of local culture and traditions that exist in everyday life.

Abstract

Academic procrastination is the behavior of procrastinating or completing academic tasks that are influenced by several factors including stress, fatigue, task characteristics and irregular time. The purpose of this research is to know the relationship of academic burnout and academic procrastination in students of the third level STIKes Santa Elisabeth Medan. This type of research is analytic design with Cross sectional research design. The population in the research of all students of third level nurses at STIKes Santa Elisabeth Medan in the academic year 2019/2020 of 110 samples taken by total sampling. Data collection using questionnaire sheet. Analyze data using Chi Square test. The results obtained in this study describes the condition of low academic burnout 57 people (51, 8%), low academic procrastination 76 people (69, 1%). Chi Square test Result obtained p-value = 0.006 (p< 0.05). This indicates there is academic burnout relationship academic procrastination in students of the third level STIKes Santa Elisabeth Medan. It is expected that students can be aware of the academic burnout they experience to reduce procrastination or academic procrastination behavior towards their assignments.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the effect of applying the SSCS model (Search, Solve, Create, and Share) on student learning outcomes in economic subjects in class X IIS 1 in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Pekanbaru in the 2019/2020 academic year. Research conducted at MAN 1 Pekanbaru precisely in class X iis 1, the method used is the observation of the activities of teachers and students in 2 cycles. Data collection technique used is the percentage technique that compares the appearance of the whole multiplied by 100%. The instrument was in the form of an observation sheet of student activities, while the test of learning outcomes to determine individual completeness was determined KKM 80 and completeness classically 75% had reached the minimum completeness standard. by research instruments in the form of written tests, and observation sheets. This instrument used is an objective test in the form of multiple choice. The data collected is quantitative data. The results showed that: the application of the learning model SSCS learning model (Search, Solve, Create, and Share) can improve the economic learning outcomes of students of class X IIS 1 MAN 1 Pekanbaru on the subject matter of Business Entity Concepts in the Indonesian Economy even semester 2019 / 2020 The results of this study are expected to be useful for the improvement and improvement of learning outcomes of students, especially in the field of economic studies.

Abstract

Higher education as higher education in Indonesia is demanded to be able to anticipate the rapid development of technology that occurred in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 The research objective is to implement an experiential-based Blended learning model developed in the Geography Basics course. In geography, the application of science and technology such as computers and internet networks is very important in studying geospatial phenomena that occur on the surface of the earth. The results of the development of learning innovations that have been carried out, ranging from conceptual, product innovations obtained, supporting technology used, and its implementation in the learning process can be said to make it easier for students to understand the subject of geography. Geography is the study of space, by looking for literature about the phenomena that occur can provide an understanding of students' spatial thinking. With innovative and creative learning videos, during the learning process students are motivated and enthusiastic about the video presentation at the time of presentation by each group so that the discussion forum is not rigid and makes students more active in asking, answering, responding or criticizing in the learning process in the classroom

Abstract

This study began with the low student learning outcomes in class III caused by the learning process that is not optimal. This type of research is classroom action research. This class action research includes the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were students in grade III SDN No.152 / II Renah Jelmu with a total of 18 students. Data collection techniques used were tests and observation sheets. The research instruments used included the Learning Implementation Plan with the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model, test questions and observation sheets. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis while the research approach is quantitative. The research results obtained are as follows; (a) the teacher conducts learning interactively so that the learning process in cycle I runs well and increases in cycle II with very good criteria. (b) Students become active in the learning process, this is shown from the learning activities of students in the first cycle with good enough criteria and then increase in the second cycle with good criteria. (c) Problem Based Learning Model taught coherently will train students' understanding ability, this can be seen from the results of student learning that increased from cycle I only by 78% to 89% in cycle II with very good criteria.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is 1) to determine the feasibility of website-based learning media on the competency test material for making surimi, 2) knowing the results of students' cognitive training on the competency test material for making surimi using website-based media, 3) knowing the results of students' cognitive training on the competency test material for making surimiusing e-modules, 4) knowing the differences in the results of students' cognitive training after using website-based media with e-modules. The method used is the ADDIE model and is implemented using the Intact-Group Comparison design in class XII majoring in Agroindustry at SMK N 1 Cibadak with cognitive aspects as research factors. The results showed that the website-based learning media was declared "Very Appropriate". Then there was an increase in the results of students' cognitive training in the experimental class with an n-gain value of 0.64 and the control class with an n-gain value of 0.55. Then the results of hypothesis show that there are difference in the results of students' cognitive training in the competency test material for making surimi using website-based learning media with e-modules.

Abstract

The number of students who are able to achieve the Graduation Criteria in the subject of animal product processing production is only 22.5%. Problems regarding the limited facilities and completeness of the material caused the delivery of the material to be hampered. Through STEM-based e-modules, it can provide broader material and provide an overview between the material and the real world so that it is easier to understand. The purpose of this study was to determine the feasibility of STEM-based e-modules through expert validation and see if there were differences in learning outcomes between the control and experimental classes. The control class used PowerPoint as a learning resource and the experimental class used STEM-based e-modules. The development is carried out on the basic competence of analyzing waste from animal production. The research method used is ADDIE and Quasi-experimental. The sample consisted of 25 students of SMK majoring in Agribusiness Processing of Agricultural Products. Based on the results of the validation on the development of e-modules, the category "very feasible". In the application, there were differences in learning outcomes between the control and experimental classes. The experimental class got an average N-Gain score higher than the control class.

Abstract

At the beginning of 2020, the world was faced with a new type of health epidemic, namely COVID-19. This pandemic causes new habits and changes in people's lifestyles, including in learning. The government established a new regulation regarding online learning in Indonesia. However, this certainly creates some obstacles for students, parents, teachers, and even educational institutions. Purpose: Find out whether online learning is effective in terms of students, parents, teachers, and educational institutions. Purpose: The purpose of this paper is to find out whether online learning is effective in terms of students, parents, teachers, and educational institutions. Methods: The research was conducted using a literature review method using secondary data. Results: The results of the analysis show that the obstacles experienced by students in online learning include decreased learning motivation due to boredom, material that is not understood due to limited facilities. Barriers to parents include the economic conditions affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, which do not support learning, and less time to accompany students. Barriers to teachers include lack of knowledge and skills regarding technology and limited learning interactions. Meanwhile, obstacles from educational institutions include re-planning and supervision that is hampered in the implementation of online learning.
