TARBIYATUNA: Jurnal Pendidikan merupakan jurnal yang diterbitkan oleh STIT Ibnu Sina Malang. Jurnal ini diterbitkan dua kali dalam setahun, baik dalam versi cetak maupun online. Jurnal ini memuat manuskrip ilmiah pada Pendidikan Islam secara umum, dengan topik dan scope kajian: Pendidikan Agama Islam, Pendidikan Bahasa Arab, dan Manajemen Pendidikan Islam. Artikel yang dimuat dalam jurnal ini berkaitan dengan hasil penelitian maupun pemikiran pendidikan Islam dan pembelajaran yang disajikan secara ilmiah dengan proses review yang dilakukan oleh ahli maupun pakar di bidangnya dengan terbit dua kali dalam setahun yaitu bulan juni dan desember yang dimulai secara online tahun 2017.

Abstract

Supervisi pendidikan Islam dibutuhkan dalam rangka memberikan panduan dan arahan guna mengembangkan kemampuan individu sekaligus dalam upaya meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan. Nilai-nilai Islam selayaknya harus terus diimplementasikan dalam upaya mewujudkan kualitas pendidikan serta dalam upaya memenuhi tuntututan kurikulum agama Islam yang telah direncanakan. Untuk mewujudkan hal tersebut, eksekutor harus memiliki berbagai karakteristik yang dibutuhkan sesuai dengan kondisi yang dihadapi. Bentuk atau pola supervisi yang tepat akan mempengaruhi tingkat kesuksesan dalam berbagai tingkat kinerja pendidikan yang relevan dan efektif.

Abstract

Pesantren is one of Islamic Education Institutions (IEIs) that dominant and concern on teaching religion then have impact on islamic culture, tradition and doctrine. Pesantren also have a role in the formation of civilization of the nation. Today, Pesantren has to to prepare facing globalization challenge and generate competitive graduates in this globalization era. For that, pesantren has to be able to be a global insightful institution and having excellence human resources, especially in Islamic education. Therefore, it is need minset transformation towards keep pace with changing, that oriented on generate graduates with three competencies: (1) competency to survive; (2) competency to enhance their quality of life; (3) competency to progress and adapt with an-ever changing era.

Abstract

Education is the most strategic way to enhance the quality of human resources. The improvement of education is also determined by principals leadership. As a part of the management function, leadership also determine the goal achievement. Successful principals leadership activity is affected many factors, including the good relationship between staff and leader, leader background, maturity and latitude in social relationship, and human attitudes. Thus, effective school leader is who competent to be the role model of their subordinate. Beside that, principals must be understood with four leadership styles: authoritarian; pseudo-democratic; laizes faire (freestyle) and democratic. Principals need to have competencies: flexibility, change implementation, interpersonal understanding, empowering, team facilitation, dan portability.

Abstract

Learning for al-Qawa'id al-Sharfia need a good system to success the proficiency of the Arabic language. Among the rote system of learning is in the form of the concept that developed over the times. One system that is built in modern times, namely the development of the formula set forth in the table that can be used as an alternative in developing learning for al-qawa'id al-Sharfia. Technology is also a concentration of the learners to shorten the time and thought in the absorption media-based learning. Learning for al-Qawaid al-Sharfia in Indonesia in view of the lack of effective implementation of neurolinguistic looked at where the lack of a language environment is optimal. Meanwhile, boarding is able to play its role with the imposition of a higher education in terms of time and opportunity long enough. It is important to leverage the use of the two sides of the brain as well. Therefore, full attention will deliver learners achieve the desired objectives in studying it.

Abstract

Controlling is a part of the management function. This function held to evaluate and enhance teacher performance or other personnel who involved in the education process. the aim of controlling is to ensure the best accomplishment has been planned. There are several strategy needed by principals to enhance education quality: (1) enhance teacher professionalism and welfare; (2) upgrade the material; (3) upgrade the method; (4) upgrade equipment; and (5) upgrade learning motivation. Besides that, there are several strategi need to enhance competitiveness: (1) defensive strategy; (2) survival strategy (3) adaptive strategy; (4) competitive oriented strategy.

Abstract

Islamic Education Institutions (IEIs), as a part of social system life, need to be aware of their environment. They have to realize that the existence of environment’s elements around them, determine their sustainability. Therefore, it is a necessity to implement environment analysis. Using literature studies, this article tries to analyzing environment’s elements of IEIs, both internal and external. It is hoped that article will give perspective to IEIs’ manager about the importance of environment analysis and be guidance for a manager who wants to execute environment analysis.

Abstract

Teaching learning is the key success in education. Learning have a major role in salvaging the culture from generation to generation. It is needed a theory of learning to continue the cultural heritage and educate the young generation to be able to carry on that role. The importance of teaching and learning got the attention of Western psychologists, so at the beginning of the 19th century came the theories of learning and instruction. The main purpose of this paper is to find out which aspects of the similarities and differences of the two theories are related to the study. The results show that there were differences and some similarities between the constructivism learning theory from Bobbi DePorter and the classical Islamic learning theory from Al-Ghazali. Both of theories aims to make teaching learning is effective, maximum and without burdening. Spiritual aspects in the classical Islamic learning theory are discussed using psychology, sociology and neurology approaches of constructivism learning theory. One aspect that makes the Islamic learning theory more superior is the cultivation of the moral education in all aspects, and the learning objectives for lasting happiness, in this world and hereafter.

Abstract

In the fast globalization era, Islamic education don’t has standard concept in it’s application. It is proven by the existence of Islamic education quality that lower than other education. Thus, it is needed a comprehensive educational concept in developing all the potential that exists in humans i.e. heart, mind, and physic. The results of this study suggest that (1) According to HAMKA, Islamic education should develop an innate human potential itself, which includes the heart, mind and physical. Heart needed to keep human understand the good and avoid the bad deeds, mind needed to get the knowledge so that they can understang the good and bad things, heart and mind can be perfect when supported by a healthy physical. (2) The potential synergies of heart, mind and physical is a tool that support the function of human life as the Caliph fi-al-ard. (3) The implications of synergy between the heart, mind, and physical will make human have noble, intelligent, and capable to change the world order with their skill.

Abstract

In the era of globalization that carries the positive and negative impacts, especially in the various lines of life and education, quality assurance develops so fast in moving educational institutions. There is a need for good quality educators to improve public trust in the progress of the learning service. Therefore, educators must have excellent planning to face a great challenges. One of the efforts that must be done by educator is the ability to provide the service of learning that can open all the exist possibilities in their minds to make students becomes a strong and intelligent man in science and have a good morals. Results of this study indicate that brain-based learning is effective for increasing motivation and students learning outcome at madrasah level, so that the student’s learning needs are met to be able to develop their abilities.

Abstract

Globalization has direct parents to choose madrassa as an alternative education for their children. Fearing the impact of globalization, called “contemporary moral’s problems” causes the parents need to provide their children with religion, by sending them in the madrassa. It is hoped that not only being a clever and skillful figure, their children will also have good morals in accordance with Islamic values. To realize this, it is needed ideal teacher who effectively gives a significant impact on the development of students' knowledge and morale. This article presents the ideal profile of madrassa teacher needed in todays contemporary era. Various problems with the teacher’s quality of madrasah are also presented, added with their central role for students. The study hoped will provide insights for madrassa teachers to understand their important role in realizing the goal of Islamic education. Thus, they pleased to become the ideal figure of the madrassa teachers.
