Abstract

This study examines the strategic role of Islamic Religious Education in primary schools/madrasahs in shaping students' self-control and moral character in the era of digitalisation. Using the Systematic Literature Review method with the PRISMA approach, this study analyses ten scientific publications from 2022-2025 that are relevant to the research theme. The findings show that the transformation of Islamic Religious Education methodology in SD/MI through the integration of digital technology can increase the effectiveness of learning and the internalisation of Islamic values. Moral education acts as a protective barrier against the negative impacts of technology, including digital addiction, cyberbullying, and moral degradation. Islamic Religious Education teachers in SD/MI have a strategic function as transformative facilitators who combine pedagogical-digital competencies with spiritual mentoring. The implementation of a holistic approach through multi-stakeholder collaboration between schools, families, and communities is key to shaping students' Islamic character while being technologically adaptive. The study recommends the development of a digital literacy-based PAI curriculum in SD/MI, the strengthening of teacher training programmes, and the establishment of a character education ecosystem that is responsive to the challenges of the digital age to optimise the role of PAI in shaping a generation with noble character.

Abstract

The study purposes to improve students' learning results in the subject of Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) by applying the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model integrated with the Teaching at The Right Level (TaRL) approach. The background of this study is the low learning outcomes in IPAS at SDN Bondongan due to teacher-centered learning that does not consider the different learning abilities of students. This investigation is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles, involving 27 fifth-grade students in the even semester of the 2024/2025 academic year. Tests of learning outcomes and observations of students' educational activities were used to gather data. The average scores and the proportion of students who learned everything they needed to from cycle I to cycle II both significantly improved, according to the results. The classical completeness rose from 33.33% to 88.89%, while the average score rose from 50 to 80. In addition, the active participation and engagement of students in learning have also increased. This finding shows that the application of the PBL model combined with the TaRL approach is effective in improving IPAS learning results .

Abstract

The Independent Curriculum is an innovation with the aim of shaping the character of students that reflects Pancasila values in the form of the Pancasila Student Profile. Character formation includes moral values such as honesty, responsibility and a sense of respect, which are crucial aspects of education. The purpose of this study is to analyze the application of P3 through the book Karawi Ma Taho in shaping the character of 2nd grade students at SDIT Insan Kamil Santi, Bima City. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data collection techniques were obtained through observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study show that the Karawi Ma Taho book is effectively used as a behavioral assessment instrument based on P3 values. Student characters such as independence, discipline, religiosity, and mutual cooperation develop significantly. In addition, parental involvement and school culture also strengthened the success of this implementation. This study confirms that the integration of character assessment books in school culture is a careful plan in an effort to instill Pancasila values and the formation of students' character. Overall, the Karawi Ma Taho Book has proven to be an effective medium in fostering students' character holistically.

Abstract

This study analyzes the relationship between teacher motivation and student learning behavior at MI Ar-Roudloh, Indonesia. The decline in student participation in learning is suspected to be related to variations in teacher motivation. Using a quantitative method with an ex post facto correlational design, the study involved 20 teachers and 40 students as samples. Data were collected through questionnaires and documentation of student learning outcomes, then analyzed using simple linear regression. The results showed a positive and significant effect of teacher motivation on student learning activities (r = 0.712, p < 0.05). These findings support Self-Determination Theory (SDT), which emphasizes the role of intrinsic teacher motivation in creating a learning environment that fosters student engagement. Practically, these results can serve as a basis for madrasahs to enhance teacher motivation to improve the quality of learning.
