Abstract

Teacher performance at the junior high school level has a significant impact on the quality of education and student achievement, but there is inequality in this achievement, especially in peripheral areas of the village. This research aims to evaluate the factors that influence teacher performance and formulate recommendations for improvement. The methodology used is qualitative research with data collection through interviews, documentation and verification, carried out in three junior high schools in Bogor Regency involving 51 teachers as samples. The research results show that teacher performance is generally good, driven by guidance and training from the school principal. However, challenges in peripheral schools need attention due to limited access to training and managerial support. It is recommended that school principals carry out problem mapping and needs analysis to improve teacher performance evenly across all regions

Abstract

Generation Z exhibits unique learning characteristics, such as reliance on technology, a preference for interactive learning, and active engagement in the learning process. This study aims to identify effective strategies to enhance teacher professionalism in bridging the gap between traditional teaching methods and the needs of Generation Z. The study employs a qualitative descriptive method based on a literature review. Data were collected through the identification, selection, and in-depth analysis of 11 relevant scholarly articles. Content analysis techniques were used to categorize the data into main themes, such as digital literacy gaps, unequal technological infrastructure, resistances to change, and a lack of continuous professional training. The findings reveal that the primary challenges faced include digital literacy gaps, unequal technological infrastructure, resistance to change, and insufficient continuous training. Recommended solutions include implementing digital literacy training, developing innovative curricula such as gamification and flipped classrooms, improving technological infrastructure, and strengthening supervision by school principals. Furthermore, teachers are encouraged to collaborate through professional learning communities to share experiences and teaching strategies

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of Guidance and Counseling teachers in enhancing career maturity among 12th-grade students at SMK Ma'arif NU 1 Cilongok through the implementation of Self-Management techniques. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach with subjects consisting of vocational school students and Guidance and Counseling (BK) teachers. Data was collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, then analyzed using an interactive analysis model consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that Self-Management techniques, which include self-monitoring, self-reward, and stimulus control, are effective in enhancing students' awareness and abilities in career planning. The guidance program designed by the BK teachers helps students understand their potential, set realistic career goals, and take concrete steps toward their future. These findings highlight the importance of self-management training for students and the need for BK teachers' support in guiding them to achieve optimal career maturity. The implementation of these techniques is recommended to be integrated into the school curriculum with collaborative support from parents and industry stakeholders.

Abstract

Technology enables mathematics teaching to be more interactive, visual, and flexible, which can enhance the understanding of complex mathematical concepts. This study aims to analyze the need for information and communication technology (ICT) in mathematics education to improve students' digital literacy in Indonesia. In the rapidly advancing digital era, the integration of ICT in learning is crucial to preparing students for future challenges. This research employs a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) methodology to analyze the literature on the use of ICT in mathematics education. The data sources for this study are secondary data from various relevant studies. Data were obtained from trusted sources such as Google Scholar, Scopus, and JSTOR, and then analyzed using a thematic approach. The findings indicate that while ICT can provide significant benefits, policies that support technological infrastructure improvements and teacher training are necessary. Additionally, students' motivation to use technology in learning should also be considered to make the mathematics learning process more effective. This study provides valuable insights for the development of educational policies and technology-based mathematics teaching practices in Indonesia

Abstract

The digital era presents significant opportunities and challenges for the teaching profession, particularly in terms of recognition and appreciation for their contributions. Teachers are expected to adapt to technology to improve the quality of learning but often face obstacles such as lack of training, limited infrastructure, and non-inclusive reward systems. This article aims to explore the challenges faced by teachers in the digital era and propose strategies to enhance the dignity of the profession. The study was conducted through a literature review collected from academic databases such as Sinta and Google Scholar, covering the period 2018-2024, with a focus on sustainable technology training, holistic contribution-based reward systems, and cross-sector collaboration. Thematic analysis techniques were used to identify key themes such as the challenges of technology adaptation, unequal reward systems, and the humanistic roles of teachers. The results indicate that recognizing the humanistic roles of teachers, along with technological support and equitable rewards, is crucial for maintaining their dignity. This research provides concrete recommendations to support teacher professionalism in the digital era

Abstract

This research aims to determine the extent to which animated videos affect students learning outcomes at SDN 06 Sungai Raya Class III of thematic learning. This study used a Quasi-Experimental and quantitative nature. Learning outcomes are bound variables (Y), while animation video media are free variables (X). The population of this study is grade III students of SDN 06 Sungai Raya. The sample taken was 18 students from each class III A and III B as a research sample for the experimental class and the control class. The sampling technique used is Saturated Sampling. The instrument used in data collection is a test that measures student learning outcomes in thematic learning. The independent sample t-test is used in the findings of data analysis after normality and homogeneity have been established. Based on statistical data, the effect between the experimental class that used animated video with Sig (2-tailed) and the control class that used lap book media was 0.000 < 0.05. As is known, in KKM 67, the average score of the experimental class was 79.72 better than the average score of the control class of 66.39

Abstract

This study aims to assess the implementation of the Think Pair Share (TPS) type cooperative learning model to increase motivation to learn accounting in students in class X Accounting. The TPS model consists of three steps, namely Think, Pair, and Share, which can stimulate student interaction and active participation in learning. The problem faced is the low motivation of students to learn in accounting, which can be seen from their lack of involvement in learning. Therefore, the application of the TPS model is expected to increase student motivation and learning outcomes. This research method uses literature studies on scientific articles, textbooks, and research journals on cooperative learning and learning motivation. The data collection process is carried out by looking for validated and reliable sources of literature, as well as making selections to ensure the quality of the data used in the research. The results showed that after applying the TPS model, there was a significant increase in student learning motivation. Students become more active in group discussions, more enthusiastic in understanding the material, and show improved learning outcomes. In conclusion, the TPS model has proven to be effective in increasing student learning motivation and can be applied to improve the accounting learning process
