Abstract

Cultural, ethnic, and linguistic diversity in Indonesia presents challenges in building inclusive communication within higher education, particularly in the Office Management Education study program. This study aims to examine the impact of using inclusive Indonesian language on creating a harmonious academic atmosphere, increasing tolerance, fostering cooperation, and enhancing social engagement among students from various cultural backgrounds. The research employs a qualitative method through semi-structured interviews with students from diverse regional and cultural backgrounds. The data from the interviews was then analyzed using thematic analysis, which is the process of identifying, grouping, and interpreting patterns of meaning that emerge in the participants' narratives. The findings indicate that the use of inclusive Indonesian language strengthens mutual respect, reduces communication barriers, and promotes social integration on campus. However, challenges remain, such as a lack of awareness in choosing neutral words and the influence of foreign terms in academic communication. In conclusion, mastering inclusive Indonesian is an essential competency for developing adaptive and ethical professional character in cross-cultural communication within the multicultural environment of office management education

This research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The research subjects consist of 14 students enrolled in the Media and Mathematical Teaching Aids course during the Odd Semester of the 2024/2025 academic year. In the course, students were introduced to and trained in the use and development of various interactive multimedia tools, including VBA PowerPoint, GeoGebra, Smart App Creator, and Scratch, as a means of designing mathematics learning media. Data collection techniques included classroom observation, student work documentation, and a questionnaire to gather student responses using interactive multimedia. Data analysis using qualitative descriptive analysis with the percentage of student responses to the use of interactive multimedia. The results show that using interactive multimedia encourages active student engagement, enhances creativity in designing learning media, and strengthens their understanding of mathematical concepts. Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of the use of communicative Indonesian in improving the effectiveness of communication in an increasingly modern and multicultural organizational environment. The method used is a literature study with a qualitative descriptive approach to analyze relevant literature on the strategic function of language in office management. Data collection is carried out through library studies, namely by examining various relevant written sources, such as scientific books, journal articles, research reports, and official language documents. The data analysis process is carried out in two main steps: data reduction and presentation. The results of this study indicate that the use of good and communicative Indonesian can strengthen professionalism, clarify messages and form a positive organizational culture. However, there are many challenges in the form of differences in the impact of foreign languages, digital culture, and intergenerational communication styles. This study highlights the importance of language training, organizational policies that support the use of standard languages, and the use of digital technology to maintain Indonesian. These findings confirm that Indonesian functions not only as a means of communication, but also as a means of managing information and symbolizing cultural identity in the organization.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a Problem Based Learning (PBL) based e-module on fluid materials to facilitate students' science explanation skills. This skill is essential to help students construct knowledge, connect scientific concepts, and present understanding logically and based on evidence. The method used in this study is Research and Development (R&D) with the Dick & Carey development model. The limited trial subjects are high school grade XI students with a total of 30 participants. The validation results by material and media experts showed that the e-module is feasible to use with very good quality. Field trials indicate that the e-module is capable of improving students' abilities in explaining fluid concepts scientifically. Thus, this PBL-based e-module is effective as an alternative learning media that supports the strengthening of 21st-century science skills, particularly the ability to explain scientifically.

Abstract

This research aims to test the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of E-Comic media in the Civics Education learning for eighth-grade junior high school students. This study uses the research and development (R&D) method with a simplified Borg and Gall model into three stages: preliminary study, product development and validation, and effectiveness testing. The instruments used are validation sheets and tests in the form of multiple-choice questions. The data produced are analyzed quantitatively descriptive. The E-comic media developed is considered feasible with a material validation of 4.73 and a media of 4.80. The practicality was high (4.69) and the effectiveness was sufficient (N-gain 65.74%). The presentation is engaging, accessible, and enhances students' interest and understanding. Although effective, this media is still limited to one chapter of material and tested in one school so it needs further development. The results of the development of E-comic media in PPKn learning have proven to be valid, practical, and quite effective in improving student learning outcomes. This medium makes it easier to understand material through attractive and accessible visuals. However, the scope of the material is still limited and needs further development so that it can be applied more widely in various schools

Abstract

This research aims to examine the application of language ethics in public service interactions to create more effective, inclusive, and professional communication. This study uses quantitative and descriptive methods to evaluate the effectiveness of public services, particularly in the communication aspect. The primary instrument in this research is a closed questionnaire designed to measure user satisfaction with service based on indicators of clarity, ease, and politeness of language used by the staff. The results of the study indicate that although the majority of people are satisfied with the communication and language ethics of health center officers, improvements are still needed, especially in politeness, empathy, and the use of inclusive language to improve the quality of service. Limitations in this study were experienced in the distribution of questionnaires such as limited time and reach in distributing questionnaires. In conclusion, this study assesses that language ethics greatly influences the quality of service. Empathetic and clear communication makes people feel appreciated, while a less friendly communication style reduces satisfaction. Service professionalism is not only measured by the speed of work, but also by interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity
