Abstract

This research aims to develop a valid, practical, and effective digital learning media based on Canva for teaching IPAS in fourth grade elementary school that can be used in the learning process. This type of research is development research (Research and Development) with the ADDIE development model. The trial subjects were conducted at UPTD SDN 35 Hutagodang, followed by research at UPTD SDN 02 Hutagodang, and then implemented at UPTD SDN 16 Hutagodang. The results of the development research of digital learning media based on Canva in IPAS learning for grade IV elementary school are valid with an average of 86.33% in the "Very Valid" category. For the practicality results from teachers and participants in the trial school, the average percentage is 94% in the "Very Practical" category. In the research school, the average percentage is 96.64% also in the "Very Practical" category. Meanwhile, at the implementation school, the average percentage is 98.10% in the "Very Practical" category. The effectiveness test at the trial school produced a result of 70% in the "High" category. In the research school, the results were 88% with the category 'Very High'. Meanwhile, in the implementation school, the results were 95% with the category 'Very High'. Based on these research results, it can be concluded that digital learning media based on IPAS learning in the fourth grade of elementary school is declared valid, practical, and effective for use and can be an alternative solution for innovative and engaging learning media for students.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model on students' mathematical problem-solving abilities. This research uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method. The research sample consists of two eighth-grade classes at SMP Negeri 1 Pantai Cermin, each consisting of 30 students. Class VIII-1 serves as the experimental class treated with the PjBL model, while class VIII-2 serves as the control class using conventional methods. Data were collected through pretest and posttest, then analyzed using normality test, homogeneity test, and t-test. The test results indicate that the data is normally distributed and homogeneous. The t-test shows a significance value < 0.05, which means there is a significant difference between the two classes. The average posttest score of the experimental class (86) is higher than that of the control class (72). These results suggest that the PjBL model has a positive effect on improving students' problem-solving skills.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using Powtoon-based animated video learning media on the learning interest in mathematics among fifth-grade students at SDN Cipari, Cigugur Subdistrict, Kuningan Regency in the 2025 academic year. The research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design of the Nonequivalent Control Group Design type. The population and sample consisted of all 35 fifth-grade students. Data were collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and pretest–posttest assessments. The instruments were validated by media and subject matter experts, and reliability was tested using SPSS. Data analysis included validity, reliability, normality, and homogeneity tests, as well as paired t-tests. The results showed that the use of Powtoon animated videos had a significant positive effect on students’ interest in learning mathematics, as evidenced by the difference in mean scores before and after treatment in the experimental group compared to the control group. Furthermore, the student satisfaction questionnaire results were in the “very satisfied” category regarding the use of this media. Therefore, Powtoon-based animated video media is effective as an alternative learning method for mathematics that is engaging, interactive, and capable of increasing elementary school students learning interest.

Abstract

An innovative teaching method, Game-Based Learning (GBL), has been shown to be effective in supporting teachers, particularly in Natural Science (IPA) subjects. This study examines how GBL is applied and its effects on science education in schools. To achieve this, a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) was conducted, analyzing scientific articles published from 2023 to 2025. The findings reveal that the GBL approach can significantly boost student motivation and active engagement, while also simplifying their grasp of complex and abstract science concepts. The success of GBL is highly dependent on selecting diverse and relevant learning media. Therefore, integrating GBL with suitable media presents a promising strategy for enhancing the quality of science education. Based on these implications, the study suggests that educators and educational media developers should continue to innovate by creating engaging, interactive media that aligns with science content to make the teaching and learning process more effective. It is hoped that these findings will guide teachers in choosing the right approach and help students understand science concepts in a more enjoyable manner.

Abstract

Leadership style is an important factor influencing employee work motivation. This study aims to analyze the effect of authoritarian leadership style on the work motivation of employees in a café. The research employed a quantitative approach with a survey method, where data were collected through questionnaires completed by active employees. Data analysis was conducted using simple regression to examine the relationship between the two variables. The results show a regression coefficient of β = -0,487, a t-value = -3.582, and a p-value = 0.001 (< 0.05), indicating that authoritarian leadership style has a negative and significant effect on employee work motivation. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.258 indicates that 25.8% of the variation in employee work motivation can be explained by the authoritarian leadership style, while the remaining 74.2% is influenced by other factors outside the research model. These findings emphasize that the application of an overly authoritarian leadership style can hinder participation, engagement, and employee morale, ultimately leading to decreased job satisfaction.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of Baamboozle as a learning medium on the learning outcomes of class X students at SMKN 1 Kuningan. This research uses a quantitative research type. In this study, the experimental method is employed. The design applied in this research is a pre-experimental study with a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The population used consists of all class X students at SMK Negeri 1 Kuningan, totaling 640 individuals. The sample used in this study is the class X of Agribusiness Crop/Agribusiness Food Crops and Horticulture (ATPH) 1 as the experimental class, consisting of 30 students, including 23 males and 7 females. The instruments used were pretest, posttest, and questionnaires. The data analysis techniques employed were validity test, normality test, hypothesis test, reliability test, and data tabulation. This research was conducted at SMKN 1 Kuningan with a sample of 30 students from class X ATPH 1. The findings of this study are: (1) the students' learning outcomes in Informatics before using the Baamboozle media were far from the KKM (Minimum Competency Criteria) with an average of 62.66; (2) the students' learning outcomes in Informatics after using the Baamboozle media showed an improvement with an average score of 77.33; (3) Based on the hypothesis testing/paired sample t-test, there is an effect on students' learning outcomes before and after using Baamboozle media as a learning tool

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the use of e-books with a Project-Based Learning (PjBL) approach can improve the mathematical literacy of students at Muhammadiyah 11 Senior High School in Padangsidimpuan City. The research method used was quantitative with an experimental design involving two groups: an experimental group using e-books based on the PjBL approach and a control group using conventional learning, with a total of 60 students. Data were collected through a mathematical literacy test based on story problems and a questionnaire about the e-book and PjBL learning. Data analysis techniques included normality and homogeneity tests, t-test, N-Gain test. The results showed that the experimental group experienced an increase in scores from a pretest of 52.3 to a posttest of 78.5, with an N-Gain value of 0.55 (moderate category). In contrast, the control group improved from 51.8 to 66.2, with an N-Gain of 0.34 (low category). This indicates that using PjBL-based e-books is more effective in enhancing students' mathematical literacy compared to conventional learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the application of Software Defined Networking (SDN) in telecommunication network traffic management through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. Literature data were collected from reputable databases such as IEEE Xplore, Scopus, ACM Digital Library, and ScienceDirect, then selected using PRISMA guidelines and analyzed with the assistance of Covidence and VOSviewer software. From 75 identified articles, 22 met the inclusion criteria and were analyzed in depth. The findings indicate that SDN provides high flexibility, scalability, and efficiency in network management through the separation of the control plane and data plane. SDN enables adaptive traffic engineering, automated configuration, enhanced security, and integration with Machine Learning for network optimization. Nevertheless, challenges such as the risk of a single point of failure, device interoperability, and the need for skilled human resources remain as implementation barriers. Overall, SDN has the potential to become a key technology in the transformation of modern telecommunication infrastructure to meet service demands in the digital era.

Abstract

This research aimed to develop and measure the effectiveness of Moodle-based e-learning as a learning medium for vocational high school students. The study used a Research and Development (R&D) approach with the ADDIE model and a quasi-experimental quantitative design (one-group pretest–posttest). The population included all students from classes X DKV1, X DKV2, and X DKV3 at SMK Negeri 1 Luragung, with class X DKV2 serving as the sample. Questionnaires and tests were used as instruments to assess the LMS's feasibility and effectiveness. The data were analyzed using quantitative descriptive methods. The results showed the medium received feasibility scores of 81.6% from students, 88% from media experts, and 98% from material experts, placing it in the "Highly Feasible" category. The learning effectiveness, measured by the N-Gain Score, averaged 0.738, indicating a "High" category. These findings demonstrate that Moodle e-learning is both feasible and effective in improving student understanding and learning outcomes, and is suitable for implementation as a digital learning model in vocational schools.

Abstract

This study aims to design and develop a web-based Guidance and Counseling (BK) Information System Application using the Laravel framework at SMK Model Patriot IV Ciawigebang. The development method employs the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) using Laravel and Vite for backend development and asset management, the Atlantis 3.30 template based on Bootstrap 4 for a responsive interface, and MySQL as the database. Functionality testing by information systems experts showed a 100% suitability rating (highly suitable). Usability testing yielded a score of 83.9% (highly suitable) by guidance counselors, 54.3% (sufficiently suitable) by students, and 87.6% (highly suitable) by the student affairs department. These findings indicate that the application can improve the efficiency of BK administration, simplify online counseling services, accelerate the process of reporting student cases, and support the effectiveness of services through progress tracking modules, real-time notifications, and data security systems. Based on these results, the application is recommended for continued use in schools with regular maintenance and feature development according to user needs and feedback.
