Abstract

This research addresses the issue of unsuitable children's storybooks influencing elementary students' thinking patterns by mirroring adult behaviors, prompting the development of the modern children's storybook "Prof. Tito: Electric Bicycle Edition" to enhance literacy and science technology education. The specific aim is to evaluate the effectiveness of character-based and science technology-focused storybooks in improving Indonesian and natural sciences learning among fifth-grade students. "Prof. Tito, Electric Bike Edition" explores values like cooperation, mutual assistance, and knowledge of electric bicycles, offering a moral foundation for young readers. The study highlights the storybook's role in fostering empathy and focus, while educating readers about electric bicycles in the context of Indonesian language and science. Through student evaluations, the book's efficacy was tested, showing significant learning improvements. The findings reveal a 13.49% and 12.55% increase in learning outcomes, classifying the storybook as moderately effective in enhancing learning. Overall, the research concludes that the storybook significantly contributes to improving student learning outcomes, representing an original contribution to the field.

Abstract

Pelaksanaan penelitian ini memiliki maksud untuk mengetahui hambatan yang ditemui oleh guru Sekolah Dasar pada pembiasaan literasi di sekolah. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi karena ditemui bahwa kemampuan literasi siswa di sekolah terutama Sekolah Dasar masih tergolong rendah. Rendahnya kepandaian literasi anak sekolah dasar terjadi karena adanya hambatan yang dialami oleh guru maupun siswa dalam penerapannya. Sehingga peneliti melakukan penelitian ini dengan tujuan mengetahui hambatan yang dialami oleh guru dalam pembiasaan literasi di tingkat Sekolah Dasar. Adapun penelitian ini tergolong ke dalam jenis deskriptif kualitatif. Pada penelitian ini yang akan menjadi subjek yaitu guru Sekolah Dasar yang mengajar di Sekolah Dasar yang berada di Kabupaten Tanah Datar. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu berupa pedoman hasil Google form yang telah disebarkan. Analisis data yang diolahuntuk penelitian ini adalah analisis data kuantitatif yaitu merangkum hasil data dari Google form yang sudah dideskripsikan. Dari penelitian ini didapatkan bahwa terdapat bebrapa hambatan yang dialami guru dalam pelaksanaan literasi di sekolah dasar, yaitu berupa kurangnya fasilitas, kurangnya minat siswa serta kurangnya sokongan dari orang tua siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to describe how to improve student learning outcomes in Pancasila education learning using the Team Games Tournament model assisted by the Book Creator application in class IV SDN 120 Suka Maju, Jambi City. This type of research is classroom action research (CAR) using two types of approaches, namely qualitative and quantitative approaches. This research was carried out in two cycles, with research procedures consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were class teachers as observers, researchers as practitioners or teachers, and 25 class IV students of SDN 120 Suka Maju, Jambi City. Data collection techniques in the form of observation analysis, tests and non-tests. The resulting data was analyzed in a quantitative descriptive manner. The results of the study showed that: First, the cycle I teaching module obtained an average of 85.4% (B), increasing in cycle II to 95.83% (SB). Second, the results of the implementation of the teacher aspect of cycle I obtained an average of 83.93% (B), increasing in cycle II to 96.42% (SB). Third, the results of the implementation of the student aspect of cycle I obtained an average of 82.14% (B), increasing in cycle II to 96.42% (SB). Fourth, the learning outcomes of students in cycle I obtained an average of 77.6 (C), increasing in cycle II to 91.5 (SB).

Abstract

This study aims to describe how to improve student learning outcomes in Pancasila Education learning using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in class V SDN 01 Asam Kumbang Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) using qualitative and quantitative approaches, which is implemented in two cycles, namely cycle I (two meetings) and cycle II (one meeting) carried out in four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subjects of this study were teachers and students of class V SDN 01 Asam Kumbang Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan with a total of 19 students, 8 boys and 11 girls. The results of this study showed an increase in the teaching module cycle I with an average of 85.41% (Good) and cycle II 95.83 (Very Good). Assessment of teacher activity cycle I with an average of 82.14% (Good) and cycle II 96.42% (Very Good). Assessment of student activity cycle I with an average of 82.14% (Good) and cycle II 96.42% (Very Good). Assessment of students in improving learning outcomes in cycle I obtained 74.94% and cycle II with an average of 85.76%. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model can improve learning outcomes of Pancasila Education in grade V.

Abstract

This research aims to describe how the improvement of student learning outcomes in IPAS learning using the Cooperative Learning model of Talking Stick type in the fourth-grade class of UPT SDN 23 Tandai, Solok Selatan District. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) using two types of approaches, namely qualitative and quantitative approaches. The research was conducted in two cycles, with the research procedure consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques included observation analysis, tests, and non-tests. The subjects of this study were the researcher teacher as an observer, the fourth-grade teacher as a practitioner, and 20 students from the fourth grade of UPT SDN 23 Tandai. The results showed that in cycle I the average score of the teaching module was 93.9% (SB), which increased to 100% (SB) in cycle II. The results of the implementation of the learning aspect of the teacher in cycle I obtained an average of 93% (SB), which increased in cycle II to 98% (SB). The results of the implementation of the learning aspect of the students in cycle I obtained an average of 89.5% (SB), which increased in cycle II to 98% (SB). The learning outcomes of the students in cycle I obtained an average of 75.8 (C), which increased in cycle II to 87.8 (B). Thus, it can be concluded that the Cooperative Learning model of the Talking Stick type can improve students' learning outcomes in the IPAS learning in grade IV UPT SDN 23 Tandai, South Solok Regency.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of students, this is because teachers have not used innovative learning models that can attract the attention of students. The purpose of this study was to describe the improvement of Pancasila Education learning outcomes using the Learning Cycle model in Class V SDN 03 Pakan Labuah Bukittinggi City. This research is a classroom action research (PTK) that uses qualitative and quantitative approaches. This research was carried out in two cycles, namely cycle I consisting of 2 meetings and cycle II consisting of 1 meeting. Each cycle includes four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this research were teachers and students of class V SDN 03 Pakan Labuah Bukittinggi City with 22 students, 10 female students and 12 male students. Data collection techniques in the form of tests and non-tests. The results of this study are guided by the recapitulation table of the research results of cycle I and cycle II which have been presented in the discussion section, the results of this study show: First, the teaching module of cycle I with an average of 85.41 (B) and increased in cycle II to 95.85% (SB). Second, the results of the implementation of learning aspects of teachers in cycle I with an average of 81.94 (B) and increased in cycle II to 94.44% (SB). Third, the results of the implementation of learning aspects of students in cycle I with an average of 81.94% (B), and increased in cycle II to 94.44% (SB). Fourth, the learning outcomes of cycle I students with an average of 78.17 (C) and increased in cycle II to 90 (SB). Based on these results, it can be concluded that the use of the Learning Cycle model can improve the learning outcomes of Pancasila Education class V SDN 03 Pakan Labuah Bukittinggi City.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a valid, practical, and effective digital learning media based on Canva for teaching IPAS in fourth grade elementary school that can be used in the learning process. This type of research is development research (Research and Development) with the ADDIE development model. The trial subjects were conducted at UPTD SDN 35 Hutagodang, followed by research at UPTD SDN 02 Hutagodang, and then implemented at UPTD SDN 16 Hutagodang. The results of the development research of digital learning media based on Canva in IPAS learning for grade IV elementary school are valid with an average of 86.33% in the "Very Valid" category. For the practicality results from teachers and participants in the trial school, the average percentage is 94% in the "Very Practical" category. In the research school, the average percentage is 96.64% also in the "Very Practical" category. Meanwhile, at the implementation school, the average percentage is 98.10% in the "Very Practical" category. The effectiveness test at the trial school produced a result of 70% in the "High" category. In the research school, the results were 88% with the category 'Very High'. Meanwhile, in the implementation school, the results were 95% with the category 'Very High'. Based on these research results, it can be concluded that digital learning media based on IPAS learning in the fourth grade of elementary school is declared valid, practical, and effective for use and can be an alternative solution for innovative and engaging learning media for students.

Abstract

Motif penelitian ini adalah implementasi kurikulum merdeka di sekolah dasar. Kurikulum merdeka ini diterapkan di seluruh sekolah dasar di Indonesia. Oleh karena itu, peneliti ingin menyelidiki bagaimana kesiapan guru Sekolah Dasar untuk pengenalan kurikulum merdeka di sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesiapan guru Sekolah Dasar dalam penerapan kurikulum merdeka. Jenis penelitian adalah deskriptif dan kuantitatif. Subyek penelitian ini yaitu guru sekolah dasar yang mengajar kelas kurikulum merdeka di Kabupaten Agami. Alat yang digunakan didistribusikan dalam bentuk petunjuk keluaran Google form. Analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu analisis kuantitatif, yaitu. ringkasan hasil data dari formulir Google yang dijelaskan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar guru Sekolah Dasar belum siap untuk mengimplementasikan kurikulum merdka. Guru masih belum memahami struktur kurikulum merdeka dan masih diperlukan pelatihan untuk menyusun modul ajar dan mengevaluasi keberhasilan pembelajaran kurikulum merdeka.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pemanfaatan bahan ajar digital masih belum optimal dan bervariasi antar sekolah. Masih menggunakan buku cetak sebagai sumber utama dalam pembelajaran serta adanya kendala seperti keterbatasan fasilitas, kesiapan guru, dan rendahnya keterlibatan peserta didik. Meskipun telah terdapat upaya awal dalam mengintegrasikan teknologi, implementasi bahan ajar digital belum berjalan optimal. Sehingga diperlukan pembaharuan bahan ajar yang berintegrasi dengan perkembangan teknologi dan karakteristik peserta didik guna meningkatkan motivasi dan kualitas pembelajaran. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar berbasis flip builder pada mata pelajaran pendidikan pancasila di kelas IV SD yang valid, praktis dan efektif. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan (R&D) dengan menerapkan model ADDIE. Pengujian validitas menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar tersebut adalah valid dengan skor 92,5% untuk materi, 92,5% untuk media, dan 90% untuk bahasa. Pengujian praktikalitas menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar sangat praktis, dengan skor 95,62% dari peserta didik dan 92,5% dari guru di sekolah percobaan (SDN 17 Batu Gadang), serta 97,5% dari guru dan 90,69% dari peserta didik di sekolah penerapan (SDN 12 Padang Besi). Pengujian efektivitas menunjukkan bahan ajar ini sangat efektif di sekolah percobaan dengan skor 83,33% (efektif) dan di sekolah penerapan dengan skor 94,44% (sangat efektif). Dengan demikian, bahan ajar tersebut telah terbukti valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk pembelajaran pendidikan Pancasila di kelas IV Sekolah Dasar.

Abstract

Music education in elementary schools plays a crucial role in developing students' creativity, character, and cultural identity. However, many learning are still teacher-centered, emphasizing only technical skills, and under-involving students' thinking processes and exploration of local wisdom values. Educational reforms demand the integration of immersive learning and project-based learning to foster higher-order thinking skills, meaningful learning experiences, and character education. This study aims to develop a SWARA (Stimulus, Wondering, Active, Reflective, and Applicative) music learning model based on the principles of immersive learning and local cultural values through a systematic literature review (SLR). This review followed the PRISMA 2020 protocol by analyzing articles indexed in the Scopus and SINTA databases (2020 to 2025). Forty-eight relevant studies were selected through strict inclusion and exclusion criteria and subsequently assessed using the Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) critical appraisal tool. Thematic analysis revealed four dominant themes: (1) the role of immersive learning in music education, (2) integration of local cultural values, (3) project-based and collaborative music learning, and (4) the use of digital technology. Based on the research findings, the SWARA model is proposed as an innovative learning framework that integrates in-depth inquiry, local cultural values, collaborative creation, and digital enhancement. The SWARA model is expected to support meaningful, reflective, and culturally responsive music learning in elementary education that is oriented towards a deep learning approach.
