Abstract

The article is to find out the definition and system of good and correct bureaucracy from an Islamic education perspective in the Digital Era. To find out the definition and practice of discrimination as well as solutions to deal with discrimination from an Islamic education perspective. To find out the definition of elite in the Islamic view of the digital era. The researchers engage in synthesizing the gathered information and conducting a thorough analysis. It presents this literature review within a descriptive qualitative research framework, adopting a phenomenological approach, to extract insights that address the research question by first collecting data and then seeking understanding. The result show that Discrimination can be overcome by instilling the teachings of the Islamic religion (caliphate principles) into oneself by accepting the nature of humans as social creatures who must live side by side with other humans who have different personalities and characteristics. At the elite level of thinking, we observe a pragmatic approach as elites gravitate toward populist figures to boost their popularity. This behavior is often characterized as a form of currying favor with those in power. The resulting phenomenon has generated narratives that have become a source of political turmoil, leading to widespread unrest among the grassroots population. Abstract

This article aims to find out and analyze the textbooks used by lecturers in the Arabic language course in second-semester of the Islamic Religious Education Study Program at STAI Al-Furqan Makassar in 2022. This study applies a qualitative approach. Data was collected through observations, interviews, and documentation guided by instruments in the form of guidelines for each technique. Sometimes one type of data is searched using the three techniques at once, and sometimes done separately. The collected data is classified, systematized, and analyzed based on the chosen theory guidance. Determination and development of teaching materials can be applied by collaborating with book authors so that it does not have to be the teacher who writes them. The main principle in using the 4D model is to meet the criteria and structured steps (define, design, develop, and disseminate). They are learning Arabic using Bahasa Arab Elementer book by Prof. Dr. H. Ahmad Thib Raya, M.A., which emphasizes the basic rules of Arabic grammar. Arabic language lecturers should develop it by compiling their own more relevant textbooks. The arrangement of the textbooks should adapt to the 4D model. Abstract

The study was prompted by the necessity of using suitable translation strategies in the context of translating literary works. The study aimed to identify the translation strategies utilized in translating the Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone novel. The study utilized the qualitative research design to produce descriptive data. Furthermore, the thematic analysis was implemented in this study to categorize and analyze the data. In selecting the data, the researchers utilized the purposive sampling for data selection and selected the first, seventh, and eleventh chapters to be analyzed. The study resulted in the discovery that six out of the eight translation strategies proposed by Newmark were used (2003), namely the word-for-word, literal, faithful, semantic, free, and communicative translation strategies. Additionally, three of the translation strategies presented by Baker (2018) were employed to translate the idiomatic expressions in the novel. These strategies included the utilization of an idiom with similar meaning but different form, borrowing from the source language, and the omission of an entire idiom. This study further explored various existing theories regarding translation strategies and discovered connections between them. Furthermore, this study would be beneficial for translators, namely in deciding which translation strategies would be appropriate for specific situations. Abstract

The research design used quantitative in control group design (pretest-posttest control group design). The population in this study were all students of class VIII at SMP Muhamamdiyah 3 Bandar Lampung, totaling 147 students. The sampling technique used purposive sampling technique with the consideration that the selected sample was taught by the same teacher. For this reason, there were 2 sample classes, namely the experimental class, which consisted of 29 students and the control class, which consisted of 29 students. Data collection techniques were obtained through problem solving ability tests, observation. Based on the results of the analysis, it was obtained that there is a significant influence between classes using problem solving assisted learning online learning videos and classes using conventional learning models testing criteria with a significance level of 0.05. It was found that the results of the Sig t-test, (2 tailed) in both sample classes is 0.000 <0.05, then Ho is accepted meaning: there is a significant difference in effect between classes using problem solving learning assisted by online learning videos and classes using conventional learning models.
