Abstract

Community health workers hold an important role in health promotion and prevention of dengue fever. In the Jumantik program, the community health workers sought to find any mosquito larvae at the houses and report the findings to the community health centers (Puskesmas). Nevertheless, the reporting process is still paper-based and complex. This study aims to develop a mobile application that facilitates the reporting process to be more user-friendly and practical for community health workers. We used a system framework with the input-process-output scheme in developing this application. A review of the Puskesmas program and interviews with Puskesmas officers and community health workers were performed to obtain input. The application was tested among programmers and users (i.e., community health workers) to understand its usability and applicability. The users were able to input the data, upload photos, and produce the report. We invited about fifty users to test this application. They provided positive responses and were satisfied with the final product of this mobile application. However, they also suggest adding some functions related to the data storage and availability of this application in the Apple store

Abstract

The number of video game players worldwide escalates yearly. The easy access to games has undeniably led many individuals to experience addiction. In 2019, the World Health Organization (WHO) officially classified game addiction as a disease. Among the various genres, the Massive Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game (MMORPG) genre stands out as one of the most addictive. The MMORPG game dominating the market is Final Fantasy XIV, boasting an impressive player base of 27 million. This study aims to identify factors driving addiction to Final Fantasy XIV. The research adopts the MMORPG Affordance theory and Motivation Factors as the underlying research model. Out of 132 valid questionnaire responses, three hypotheses emerge as statistically significant in influencing addiction. The findings of this study offer valuable insights for policymakers and decision-makers, enabling them to devise strategies to prevent MMORPG addiction and foster a healthy virtual environment conducive to productivity

Abstract

The Teluk Sirih Power Plant (PLTU), owned by PT. PLN (Persero) in West Sumatra, utilizes coal as its primary energy source. Located in Teluk Sirih Village, Padang City, with two units each generating 112 MW of power, routine maintenance is pivotal in maintaining the electricity production performance. Understanding work instructions, Occupational Health and Safety (K3) policies, and maintenance-related information is of paramount importance to ensure efficient maintenance practices. However, during visits and interviews, it was revealed that there are differences in understanding work instructions, K3 policies, and maintenance-related information between experienced and new employees, which can impede maintenance activities. The research titled "Design and Development of Maintenance Information System at PT. PLN (Persero) UPK PLTU Teluk Sirih" aims to address these differences. By designing a maintenance information system, employees can easily access work instructions, K3 policies, and established maintenance information within the organization. This will facilitate adaptation for new employees and updating the understanding of experienced employees regarding the latest technology and procedures. With the existence of the PLTU maintenance information system, employees can learn work instructions, K3 policies, and maintenance-related information, thereby eliminating differences in understanding. Therefore, it is expected that the efficiency and effectiveness of maintenance at the Teluk Sirih Power Plant will be enhanced, ultimately supporting optimal electricity production

Abstract

In the era of digital transformation, more and more institutions are taking advantage of this technological development. In the field of education, the use of digital transformation can be found in many places, such as the use of websites and applications to make it easier for teachers to view teaching schedules, and students and the public can also access school information quickly and easily. This study discusses the development of a website-based information system to make it easier for teachers at TK Darussalam Plus to solve the problems they face, namely the data collection of school administration and learning activity plans that are still using paper and books, and some data is stored using the Excel application. The use of these two systems causes the data to be not organized neatly, some data is in the book, and some data is in the Excel, which causes the search and management of data to be inefficient and ineffective.To overcome this problem, an information system was built using the agile development method, which is one of the application development methods that is flexible to changes that occur during system development. Based on the results of the UAT test that has been carried out, this information system has obtained satisfactory results with a value of 77% in the attractiveness section, 97% in the learnability section, 75% in the operability section, 90% in the understandability section, the website-based information system that has been developed is a solution that meets the needs required by the TK Darussalam Plus.

Abstract

The Government's Village Fund Family Hope Program (PKH) is a form of social assistance to village communities. One of the villages receiving this assistance is Ampek Angkek District, located in the Agam Regency area. For prospective PKH recipients, an appropriate decision support system is used for accepting PKH candidates. The Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method and the Addative Assessment Ratio (ARAS) method are suitable methods for creating a decision support system for PKH acceptance. The Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method is used to determine the weight value for each data from potential aid recipients, and the Addative Assessment Ratio (ARAS) method is used to rank potential aid recipients according to the weight values that have been obtained using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. The results obtained from manual calculation testing are the same as the system calculation results

Abstract

The 2024 Indonesian presidential election is getting closer and it’s increasingly being discussed. People’s preferences in choosing presidential and vice presidential candidates can change along with political dynamics and various activities carried out by presidential and vice presidential candidates. A politician will definitely consider their popularity if they run for president and vice president to be elected by the public. The aim of this research is to see what people’s preferences for 2024 Indonesian presidential and vice presidential candidates, especially Twitter users. In addition, this research is to measure the impact of political information spread on Twitter and provide relevant and significant insights for political decision makers, election campaign teams, and political analysts to design effective communication strategies by understanding the dynamics of people's political preferences in digital era. This research uses a combination of text mining and SAW (Simple Additive Weighting) methods to see what people’s tendencies or choices in choosing state leaders based on data from Twitter with certain hashtag and keywords that often appear on Twitter. The data collected was 92.852 tweets which were then analyzed for sentiment. Sentiment data is used in ranking process using SAW method. Sentiment results for these candidate pairs are still dominated by positive sentiment. The second candidate pair, Prabowo Subianto & Gibran Rakabuming Raka, secured the top position with a conclusive score of 0.865, trailed by the first candidate pair, Anies Baswedan & Muhaimin Iskandar, obtaining a score of 0.846. The third position was claimed by candidate pair number 3, Ganjar Pranowo & Mahfud MD, achieving a score of 0.702.

Abstract

Pariwisata merupakan peringkat ketiga sektor yang menyumbangkan devisa terbesar untuk Indonesia. Penerapan teknologi merupakan salah satu upaya pemerintah untuk meningkatkan sektor pariwisata. Inovasi teknologi dalam bentuk program komputer yang diterapkan pada sektor pariwisata akan mengubah pola bisnis pariwisata menjadi responsif, kreatif, dan inovatif. Penelitian ini akan membangun Sistem Informasi Geografis dengan memanfaatkan format foto 360 untuk menampilkan lokasi obyek wisata. Sistem memanfaatkan Google Maps API untuk menampilkan peta digital dan rute menuju obyek wisata. Foto obyek wisata ditangkap menggunakan kamera DSLR dan dijahit untuk menjadi foto 360 menggunakan aplikasi PTGui. Foto 360 ditampilkan dalam bentuk equirectangular panorama di aplikasi Android menggunakan WebView dengan Panellum. Lokasi obyek wisata diperoleh dari teknik geotagging, yakni mengakses matadata lokasi dari dalam EXIF tag yang ada di file foto.

Abstract

Traffic conscious school covers various aspects that influence the effectiveness and accuracy of traffic education program evaluation. A structured and comprehensive approach is needed involving all stakeholders to update and adapt the traffic conscious school strategy to suit needs and developments. DSS is proposed to support traffic conscious school decisions using the website based AHP method. DSS was built adopting the XP Model with planning, design, coding and testing stages. Planning consists of functional and non functional requirements. The design contains application designs and AHP calculation designs with a CR value of 0,04 for 5 criteria 4 sub criteria, which means they are consistent. The highest priority value is 048 for the teacher and human environment criteria, while the lowest is for the object environment criteria. The test results show there is no difference between manual calculations and the proposed system. DSS can support stakeholder decisions to adopt traffic conscious school policies and strategies.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a decision support system that can help English School Indonesia in choosing the best tutor by using the Fuzzy-AHP (F-AHP) method. The Fuzzy-AHP method combines Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) with fuzzy logic, which can overcome uncertainty and imprecision in criteria assessment. The first step in this research is to conduct a literature study to understand decision support systems, AHP methods, fuzzy logic, and their implementation in tutor selection. Furthermore, data and information related to tutor selection criteria will be collected from English School Indonesia through interviews and surveys. Fuzzy-AHP method will then be applied to build a hierarchical structure of criteria in selecting the best tutor. Abstract

STMIK Amik Riau is the first computer college in Riau Province. As the first and focused on the field of computerization, all activities carried out, whether related to work or services to students, should be computerized and mobile based. One of the services that is a problem in this research is the Academic Advisory (PA) service which is still carried out conventionally. Various problems that occur include failure to input student Study Plan Cards (KRS) into the feeder system by the Higher Education Data Base (PDPT) due to late submission, difficulty meeting lecturers for consultation due to lecturers' busy schedules, guidance times are relatively fast so students cannot convey complaints. in the lecture process as well as PA consultation sheets which are easily damaged and lost. The many problems that exist conventionally give rise to the desire to integrate all existing problems into a system that can be accessed by students online. In building a system that integrates all existing problems, the author uses a system development process in the form of the User Centered Design method. The application of this method is focused on a system built to achieve research objectives and in accordance with the wishes of the user. The results that have been achieved are implemented directly with students and provide positive feedback because of the ease with which students can meet PA lecturers to consult on problems during the lecture process as well as the ease with which lecturers can monitor the entire history of their PA students.
