Abstract

The school of Socialist Realism in literature is a part of the realism movement that emerged last. The purpose of this research is to examine the development of the Socialist Realism school and its reflection in Arabic literature. The research method employed is a descriptive qualitative and bibliographic approach. The data sources utilized include books and articles discussing Socialist Realism, as well as Arabic literary works such as Auda' wa Tsu'ban and Aulad Hatiina by Qissah Rifa'ah. The findings of this research reveal two main orientations within the Socialist Realism literary school: (1) a strong adherence to Marxism, and (2) a focus on the concept of social classes as a means to advocate for social justice.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the stylistics of the Ad Dhuha letter in relation to al-Mustawa al-Shauti. It is a type of library research that relies on data from written sources. The method used is content analysis. The results of this research reveal that there is harmony in each part of the verse. The distinctiveness and uniqueness of the sound in Surah Ad Dhuha is dominated by syllables with the arrangement consonant - vowel - consonant - long vowel (c v c v v). From the perspective of consonant types, it is dominated by semivowel consonants in the form of the letter alif maksurah (?), which is repeated eight times in verses 1-8.

Abstract

This research analyzes the use of marfu'atul asthma and its i'rob signs in the short film "Inthiq Rasmiyyatan". The method used is qualitative descriptive analysis, with data collected through the listening and note-taking method. Data analysis techniques included data collection, analysis, and drawing research conclusions. The findings of this research revealed 22 instances of marfu'atul asthma in the film "Inthiq Rasmiyyatan", consisting of 1 fa'il data, 0 naibul fa'il data, 6 mubtada' khabar data, 1 kana data, 4 inna wa akhawatuha data, and 7 tawabi 'lil marfu' (consisting of 1 na'at data, 1 taukid data, and 2 athaf data).

Abstract

This classroom action research aims to increase student learning activity through the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model in Arabic language subjects in class III MIS Ihsaniyah, Jambi City. Data collection in this research used observation and documentation techniques. The data analysis technique used is quantitative and qualitative descriptive. The results of this research indicate that the application of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) type cooperative learning model can increase the learning activity of class III MIS Ihsaniyah students in Arabic subjects. This increase is shown in the average score of pre-action learning activity, which was 43.29, increasing to 57.44 in cycle I and 71.33 in cycle II. Meanwhile, the percentage of activity in learning Arabic before the action was 29.03%, increasing to 54.84% in cycle I and 80.65% in cycle II. Because the completion criteria have been achieved, namely a minimum average score of 70 and a minimum student completion percentage of 75%, this research is considered successful.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the meaning of Lam in Surah Al-Qalam. The approach in this research is descriptive qualitative. Data were collected using note-taking techniques and went through the stages of data reduction, data display, conclusions, and verification. The results of this research show that there are 18 pieces of lam, which are divided into several parts, such as lam nahyi, lam harf nafyi, and lam taukid. Additionally, there is lam ghoiru amilah, comprising of 9 lams divided into five parts: lam zaidah, lam waqiah, lam muzhalaqah, lam ibtida', and lam fariqoh. The research also indicates that the function and meaning of the letter lam form a sentence that can only emerge after being combined with another sentence.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the efforts and endeavours of Muhammad Ali Pasha in the revival of the Arabic language and literature in the country of Egypt. This qualitative desk-based research relied on an inductive and analytical approach to trace the places of this importance and then analyze them. The research concluded that the efforts and attempts of Muhammad Ali Pasha to promote the Arabic language and literature when he was the ruler of Egypt, such as sending Egyptian scholars to Europe on scientific missions, contributed to the emergence of Arabic language and literature scholars in Egypt.

Abstract

Media is a channel for information that is still used today. There are many issues circulating with various media reporting them. One of the issues that is always widely discussed is the Palestinian-Israeli conflict which is heating up again at the moment. The discourse on Palestinian liberation has always been a hot topic. This gives rise to the emergence of lexemes or language units that are appropriate to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, such as the word tahrir. This research aims to explain the lexical and contextual meaning in the online Arabic media Al-Jazeera which highlights the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. This research is descriptive qualitative research. The data source comes from Al-Jazeera media with the help of AntConc and LancBox software in collecting data. The research results showed that lexical meaning was found by 64% and contextual meaning was found by 36%. Al-Jazeera reporting tends to use the word tahrir  in its lexical meaning as liberation. Meanwhile, using the word al-tahrir has a contextual meaning that is oriented towards the name of the liberation organization in Palestine.

Abstract

This study discusses the semantic relationship between ulama (Islamic scholars) and umara (leaders) in the Qur'an, as explained in Tafsir al-Azhar and the Ministry of Religious Affairs' interpretation. Using a qualitative method with a library research approach and a thematic figure study approach, the findings indicate that ulama and umara are two inseparable entities. Both play vital roles in society, whether in religious or social contexts. The unity of ulama and umara is essential for building a nation that aspires to be a baldatun tayyibatun wa rabbun ghafur (a good and prosperous land under the forgiveness of Allah).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the language style of Arbain Nawawi's hadith using modern linguistic theory, namely stylistics. Hadith as the second source of Islamic law after the Qur'an has a distinctive language style that is interesting to study from a linguistic perspective to obtain a more objective and comprehensive meaning. This research is descriptive qualitative research using the literature study method. The data used are qawli hadiths in the book Arba'in al-Nawawi written by Imam an-Nawawi. The data collection technique used a note-taking technique and data analysis was carried out using the stylistic analysis technique from the perspective of Syihabuddin Qalyubi which consists of five levels of analysis; phonological, morphological, syntactic, semantic, and imagery levels. The results of this study indicate that the hadiths of Arba'in al-Nawawi have a variety of consonant sounds, namely; plosives, fricatives, nasals, laterals, and trills. From the aspect of morphology and syntax, there is a special choice of words that are not used in the Qur'an, both in terms of words, sentences, and expressions. Arba'in Nawawi's hadith language also contains semantic elements such as polysemy, antonyms, synonyms, and lexical meanings. As for the imagery aspect, the researcher found uslub tasyb?h, majaz, and kin?yah which are found in almost all of the forty hadiths.

Abstract

This research aims to reveal the similarities and differences containsed in Hamzah Fansuri's poem "Perahu" and the poem "La rabba siwaka" by Abu Al-'Atiyah by using comparative literary theory. The approach used is structural, that is, what is compared in the two poems are the intrinsic elements that build the poetry, and these elements are the inner elements and the physical elements. The method used is a descriptive qualitatsive method with data collection techniques in the form of note-taking techniques. The data sources from the two poems were analyzed and then compared with the mental and physical elements. The results of this research found similarities between boat poetry and Abu Al-'Atiyah's poetry in terms of theme, tone, use of concrete words, rhyme and typography. Then the differences were also found in terms of theme, taste, message, diction, imagery, rhyme and figure of speech.
