Abstract

Land is seen as something very valuable and must be maintained by indigenous peoples. This can be seen in the life of the Indonesian people in each area of ​​residence and apart from the Indonesian people, land also has an impact on the government, in which case the government has the authority to control the land in use and allotment to the community. The research method used is in the form of normative juridical which is viewed from the UUPA, government regulations related to the same matter as well as literature studies and the type of data used is the Mataram District Court Decision Number 36/Pdt.G/2021/PN.Mtr, Mataram High Court Decision Number 231/PDT/2021/PT.MTR, and Court Decision Number 2884K/Pdt/2022 and reviewed based on customary law in Mataram. The results of this study are in the Cassation Decision Number 2884 K.Pdt/2022, it has been proven that PT Pertamina is the owner of the customary disputed land which was originally claimed to belong to the Plaintiff, namely the families of Ida WJ Gedok and Ida Nyoman Oka, but because the evidence they have is Proof of Garuda Pipil or Temporary Registration Certificate that is not re-registered so that it cannot be used as legal evidence because it is no longer valid.

Abstract

The advancement of a nation is determined by the quality of its human resources that becomes the key for the advancement through education. One of the efforts to develop capability in human beings is through education in stages which is influenced by families. A family will motivate to study and to continue studying at the universities. The objective of the research is to find out the effects of family on the interesr of grade XII IPA students of SMA Negeri (Public Senior High School) I Panombeian Panei in continuing their study to the university level, measured with the indicators such as the way parents educate, relationship among family members, family atmosphere, and economic condition. The variable of family is an independent variable, and the variable of interest is a dependent variable. A sample size of 100 students serves as the respondents, in 2022. The result of the hypothetical test shows that family has positive and significant effects on the interest of the respondents in continuing their study to the university level at p-value=0.00 < 0.05. The result of determination coefficient test showed that R2 = 0.864 which indicated that the respondent’s interest in continuing their study to the university level was 86.4% influenced by their families while the remaining 16.6% was influenced by other factors excluded from this research.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Professionalism and Facilities on Job Satisfaction with Employee Performance as an intervening variable. This research was conducted at the North Binjai District Office. The population in this study were 80 employees and the sample used was a saturated sample. The research model used is the path analysis measuring tool using smart PLS version 3.3.3. The results of this study are work facilities have a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. Facilities have no significant positive effect on employee performance. Employee Performance has no significant negative effect on Job Satisfaction. Professionalism has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. Professionalism has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Work facilities have a negative and insignificant effect on job satisfaction through employee performance. Professionalism has no significant negative effect on Job Satisfaction through Employee Performance.

Abstract

Lighting is essential in life as it provides a sense of security, especially when it comes to street lighting at night. However, negligence often leads to streetlights not functioning in dark conditions. The development of technology, particularly in the field of Internet of Things (IoT), enables devices to interact and exchange data through the internet network. Therefore, IoT technology has been developed to control streetlights remotely using a mobile application. This mobile application consists of three features for controlling the lights. First is the manual control, where users can adjust the intensity of the light emitted by the lamp. Second is the scheduled-based control, allowing users to set specific times for the lamp to turn on and off. Lastly, automatic control, which adjusts the lamp based on the ambient light conditions in the area. The prototype is implemented by designing an IoT system using the WiFi module on the ESP32 mictocontroller, LED lights, and an LDR sensor to measure light intensity. Additionally, a mobile application is developed to control the streetlights. Testing is conducted by controlling the lamps through the built application and gathering feedback through questionnaires to evaluate the usability of the appication’s interfaces. Based on the test results, the application effectively functions to control the streetlights according to the available features, and the application’s interface is user-friendly.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the financial performance of companies in the trade, services, and investment sectors before and after going public on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The population for this study was obtained using probability sampling method from companies in the trade, services, and investment sectors that went public and were listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the year 2018. Based on predetermined criteria, a sample of 8 companies in the trade, services, and investment sectors was obtained. The results of the financial ratio analysis for companies in the trade, services, and investment sectors before and after going public show that their financial performance is generally positive, albeit experiencing a decline in the second year. The test results indicate that there is no significant difference in liquidity, profitability, and activity ratios in the financial performance of companies in the trade, services, and investment sectors before and after going public. However, there is a significant difference in the solvency ratio.

Abstract

This research highlights how mobile gaming, and in particular Mobile Legend, has evolved from mere entertainment to a professional field that generates revenue. Players, especially in e-sports teams such as Pendekar Esports, have created complex communities with symbolic interactions that influence each other and lead to cooperation to achieve victory in competition. This research uses the case study method on an Esports team, Pendekar Esports, to further research related to the communication of the interactions that are built. The results of this study increase the complexity of the communication and interaction process that takes place in the world of e-sports, proving that games are not just entertainment, but also bring out significant social and professional dynamics. This research applies symbolic interactionism theory to describe individual views of the team, changes in identity when becoming a professional player, and the impact of the team environment on players' attitudes and behaviour. The concept of 'spirit' illustrates the motivation of players to combine hobbies and income in Pendekar Esports. The concept of "self" illustrates the transformation of the player's identity into a professional with the impact of discipline and professional attitude. The concept of "society" reveals the role of the team environment in shaping communication and discipline. The study shows that in e-sports, adaptation to specific changes in identity, norms and language affects the dynamics of communication and player behaviour. The interaction of individuals in groups in an e-sports team leads to significant changes in players' views, attitudes and interactions.

Abstract

Cessie is the transfer of receivables collection rights in the name and other intangible objects carried out by authentic deed or deed under hand. In Cessie the right to collect receivables is transferred to new creditors but District Court's ruling in case No. 142/PDT.G/2022/PNMDN gives the plaintiff the right to sell the collateral. Legal research is normative legal research. The data used are primary and secondary data obtained through interviews and literature studies. The data is analyzed qualitatively. The problems are the legal consequences of transferring Bank receivables cessie to new creditors, the judge's considerations in Decision Number 142/Pdt.G/2022/PNMdn, and legal protection of debtors and the implementation of the Decision Number 142/Pdt.G/2022/PNMdn. The consequence of transferring bank receivables by cessie is not only the right to collect receivables is transferred but the rights of creditors as holders of collateralized rights also transfer to new creditors. The execution of the debtor’s guarantee must be in accordance with applicable regulations, the creditor can’t necessarily own the collateral. It needs clearer regulation regarding the consequences of transferring bank receivables cessie in particular against the guarantee of liability. So, the regulation can provide legal protection and certainty for both cessus, cedent, and cessionaris.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of work culture and compensation on employee performance with organizational commitment as an intervening variable. The research location is in the Office of Public Works and Spatial Planning in Binjai City. The population of this study is 79 employees and the sample used is the entire population of 79 employees (saturated sample). The data collection used was a questionnaire. The research model used was path analysis and the measurement tool used Smart PLS version 3.3.3. The results of this study are that work culture has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Work Culture has a positive and significant effect on Organizational Commitment. Organizational Commitment has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance. Compensation has no significant positive effect on Employee Performance. Compensation has no significant positive effect on Organizational Commitment. Organizational Culture influences Employee Performance through Organizational Commitment in a positive and insignificant way. Compensation has an effect on Employee Performance through Compensation in a positive and not significant way.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of work experience on internal audit quality with auditor competence as an intervening variable. This type of research is associative quantitative research. The research was conducted at the Binjai City Inspectorate office. The population used in this study was 79 employees and the sample used was all populations counted without exception of 79 employees. The sample technique used was the saturated sample technique. The data collection used is by distributing questionnaires. The research model used is path analysis and the measuring tool used is Smart PLS version 3.3.3. The result of his research is that competence has a positive and significant effect on audit quality. Work Experience has no significant positive effect on competence. Work Experience has no significant negative effect on Audit Quality.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the Effect of Transformational Leadership on Employee Performance with Organizational Commitment as an intervening variable. The type of research used is associative quantitative. This research was conducted at the Office of National Unity and Community Protection in Binjai City. The population in this study was 50 employees consisting of 33 ASN employees and 17 honorary employees. The sample used was a saturated sample. The research model used is Path Analysis and the measurement tool is Smart PLS version 3.3.3. The results of this study are that Transformational Leadership has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance. Transformational Leadership has a positive and significant effect on Organizational Commitment. Organizational Commitment has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance.
